"Awaken" (Yes) Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks Live New Brunswick NJ 2024 Going For The One

On the first date of their 2024 tour, Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks performed live at the State Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Thursday night, May 30! They performed the song "Awaken" from the 1977 Yes album "Going For The One"! Before they played it, Jon Anderson said this was his favorite Yes song.

I was too young to see Yes when they came to Australia in 1973 in that I could not travel the 400 miles to Adelaide on my own and neither of my parents were interested in seeing Yes. So it would be wonderful for all the Australian fans, those who saw the shows in '73 and those of us who didn't, if Jon and the Band Geeks could pay us a visit, we'd all be there.
