Petra being the angstiest character ever literally shaped me as a person. i don't know why people act like her season 2 persona is out of character because her whole thing is being a risk-taker, of course she's unhappy with having to settle somewhere and never seeing her friends while she'd rather go out and adventure. she makes terrible decisions as well - she always has, that never changed
The difference is the narrative I think. In s1, her risk taking persona is framed as being cool and something Jessie aspires to. She’s the closest thing to a ‘Gabriel’ that Jessie has in his life, and the game makes that abundantly clear by making her the character you can save instead of him. Since Gabriel is the character the game hypes up as Jessie’s number one hero, him so obviously viewing Petra in a similar light automatically guides you into liking her. But in s2 those same traits are now conflicting with his current laid-back lifestyle, so they come across as more antagonistic and reckless than they used to seem. In short, Jessie changed and Petra didn’t, and neither of those things are necessarily all that bad. The same thing that made her cool making her something of a problem sometimes in s2 is honestly fantastic writing, because it shows how progressing through life can occasionally push people apart. Petra is great tbh, I love her and the messages her changing dynamic with Jessie conveys. People just don’t understand the affect that perspective has on characters and their stories ig

True! There’s so many cool new structures, mobs, and mechanics they could add. I would also like to see all the textures be updated since the textures in MCSM are outdated. They could even go as far as improving a few of the battle sequences in the earlier chapters and updating the graphics a bit. I really hope we get a 3rd season in the future alongside these improvements.

It’s about time I found someone who genuinely. Found season 2 to be absolutely phenomenal. Not just a after thought to season1 nostalgia. That seasons ost, gameplay, story, graphics, and general improvements was just. MWA.
