The city sounds with almost no talking or even just distant/muffled talking just sounds so nice to me. It’s like aesthetically pleasing to my ears. Please do more of these if you can
The definition of aestheticly pleasing is nice to LOOK at, what you said makes no sense

I love the lack of talking and just listening to the sounds of the city and the shutter sounds also. It's lovely and tranquil.
Haha, he's using mirrorless camera so that shutter sound is fake
Just another poor guy But still such a cool sound.
@@snapjacksonphotography yeah, the shutter sound with city's ambience sounds so relaxing

i LOVE that. I get the best expressions in my shots.
As an American who really wants to get into street photography that's my main concern. Seen a lot of great 'sneaky' or close up street tricks but honestly, I'm not sure that's a boundary worth pushing with how bad, and totally valid, some reactions might be. Tricky stuff
In Hungary, the police would be called in 5 minutes. :)

Evan Ranft does these style videos.
@@ohad.5890 He does but I like this one better because he's not bumpin his gums throughout the whole video!!!
I would put the camera settings up when you show the pictures
why is everybody so focused on the settings? Especially in this case they don‘t really matter... it‘s more about the subject, the timing and the composition!
He LITERALLY Shows the back of the camera...with literally EVERY single setting on the back as he clicks...
@@kaymanism wait what...you can see this?! Just looks like a blur to me.
I'd just like to know what mode he's shooting in and what settings he changes other than the exposure compensation
As the beginner photographer, I'm interested to see the setting as well :))
settings don't make good photos. if you know you basic exposure triangle you won't need that

@@NorthBorders those pile of photos were sick man...😂
For all those introverts like me, I have a few tips that might help. I know they’re kinda general knowledge for anyone in the game, but it might help someone.
I’ve found I get ignored or not noticed the most is when I either dress like a tourist, hang my camera on a strap around my neck and shoot away. If someone notices, I just keep framing if I’m talking photos of buildings or other stuff. Or, dress in very casual stuff, and go completely strapless, I usually tape the logos and brand names with black tape and don’t bring my camera up to my face if I can help it. Where I live there are a lot of tourists so it might not work everywhere, but the more I shoot the less I care about what other people are doing. Every time I’ve gone beyond my comfort zone to get a shot, I got better results.
maksqwe1 or just live your life and dont care what people think about you
Jim John as an introvert that’s really hard to do, no matter how much I think it it’s way easier thought than done.
toxicfox 136 the only person who can change that is you. dont ever give up on trying to make a better version of yourself.
That was sick. I loved the fact that it felt like we were you, just walking around. It was also really interesting seeing your process and how you shoot. No hand holding telling us exactly what you're doing and why, just doing it and shooting. Also really interesting to see how people just don't care if they're in a photo. I'd love to see more of this
thanks for your feedback man, i'll definitely be making more of these!
Thats always been a problem for me. People would never want to be in my photo :(
@@ofmontez I think it's sort of a case of shoot and ask for forgiveness later rather than asking people at first, especially if you want that candid street vibe
Josh Payne sounds pretty unethical to me. Actually, no, just straight up unethical. If someone doesn’t want a picture taken of them don’t fucking take the picture. the exception to this is if their face is obscured or it’s too far away to see it
@@matthewuzhere obviously if someone asks you to delete a photo of them, delete it, no questions asked. But in a street shooting scenario, when people are incidental to the shot but who they are isn't actually important, I don't believe permission needs to be sought, much like how Mike was shooting in the video. He would take images of people but wouldn't ask if they minded or not, he just got the shot and moved on. I don't think it's unethical to have people in your frame. It would be unethical if you took a close up portrait of someone then used that image on a billboard without their permission, but an image where they are a subject but their identity doesn't actually mean anything to the photo, I don't think permission needs to be sought. Using your logic, you would need to ask each and every person who's face can be seen in an image, if they are okay with their photo being taken. At that point, it's just unreasonable. Of course though, we all have our own opinions and I respect yours if that's what you believe.
this is the most satisfying thing I've ever seen

Man, this really inspired me, I haven't gone out and just wandered the streets and just shot in a good minute. Thanks for this video, and I don't think music was necessary for this. I loved the footage and noises of the streets, shutter, and rain. Much love from Las Vegas, NV.

I really enjoyed this video! Makes me feel like I'm taking photos with you , and I realized too that the whole street is potentially photogenic!
Thank you!
I like this. Show us how to use the best settings and how you're able to move the settings so fast. I want to master manual controls.
best way to learn -
Do it (hardest part)
Realise you CAN do it
Want to do it (then it becomes fun)
Learning how to shoot manual is like driving a manual car or riding a bike, it's hard at first but once you learn (by failing and figuring shit out) it becomes 2nd nature!
North Borders how do you change the pictures lighting right before you take the picture (beginner photographer)
Can I just say i LOVE LVOE LOVE this video. The fact it shows YOUR view and how you see the photo before it is taken, then as it's taken, and the final image is amazing. Thank you for this.
Damn this is sick! so cool to just get in the mind of a photographer. I definitely want more of this! make it a series!
Bro, what an inspirational video, I just started photography, and you have opened my eyes to a hole new world ! Thanks bro ! Seeing other people work, and watching this video, with no music, or anything, but just listening to the camera taking the pictures, and all the background noises, was such an amazing viewpoint. It acted if us, the viewers, were there with you, thanks for the eye opening pictures ! Keep up with the good work bro !
That was oddly calming. Would deff watch a series on this
What settings are you mostly using? This is dope by the way!
No dub over adds some element of suspense, it's a genius method of instruction. I like it a lot.
Ill keep it minimal then

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen in the world, just the fact that you don't take too much time getting the picture shows that street photography is all about what's really happening in the world, in the street
You shouldn't prepare too much for the moment to be perfect you just shoot the reality and what's really happening 😍

@@JoshKlassen Evan Ranft does these on his channel on here with voice over, they're worth checking out. But I kinda like this silent kind more. It leaves more room for the viewer to think about what they do or don't like about each shot instead of being told what the aim is.
I loved having all the city sounds and noises in the background, there was something really satisfying about this video, but I think having a little bit of discussion inserted here and there could be really helpful too. I feel like it was a meditation track for photographers lol
100% gotta make an episode 2 🤙 Hope you're doing well bro
doing a tired bro, done a lot of travelling recently hahah, ep 2 will definitely happen!
Subscribed right away. You’ve made such amazing shots with so much ease. Splendid work!
Personally man, I would like to know what focus and metering modes you use and why? that would be so helpful . Cheers 🤘🏼
Theres a lot of photography channels out there. But this is the first to show me what going in the field and doing photography really looks like. Its fun but also a little awkward, specially when photographing people in the street. Has anyone ever gotten angry at you for taking a photo of them? Or establishment securities that have restrained from taking photos?
I enjoyed this so much man, the raw sound of the city and the occasional shutter is just priceless. Hope to see more of this with some subtle background music.
I really love every random composition of your photos, i may not have a great lens but watching your videos makes me inspire to shoot everyday.

Extremely relaxing.
Would habe appreciated some of your settings. 🙏👍
Definitely much better with it being free of commentary. I get to take what I want from the vids and how I'd implement it into my shooting. Great vid man.
Hey mate, I would like to know how you decide on your choice of aperture when shooting. E.g. closeup of side angle Chrysler, the trams, people etc...to keep the photos sharp but still good depth of field.
Thanks in advance
Very good video, relaxing. Sounds of the city, and shutter. Keep it up. Make this a series!
Outstanding. makes me want to grab my camera now! Would be cool to see the before, post,/crop and then after of the original photo.
Great work man!!!!. No stupid talks. Just on the point stuff.
Yes, definitely talk more, either live or narrate after. Why you took a the shot, what worked, what didn't, etc...
I agree. It helps others understand the thought process behind the photos.
@B Roli I beg to differ. Watch Peter Lambert, he does street photography and during the process he explains what he is looking to do or what he finds interesting and why. If you are just picking up the camera and shooting whatever you see, without putting in any thoughts, then I dont think all the photos would turn out well.
I agree. Im actually going to do that in the future with my videos on may channel
No wtf. He’s showing you actual street photography. You wouldn’t be talking whne you do it. And street photography has no rules.
@@Cam-pt9ex is not talking a rule? Then I guess he can talk then. :-)
Literally camera asmr in public. Need more episodes ASAP. Great video to watch while bored at work

You should talk about how you maneuver with the exposure settings/Aperture/ISO/Shutter while taking these shots. Looked super cool watching you play with them like a master
Bruh, i love how ur just taking pics of random people without telling em XD
That's pretty much the bulk of street photography
M.J. Anderson ok but it’s kinda weird seeing someone just start taking photos of you out of no where
Such a weird concept, I suppose now you will be captured by a camera at some point through the day, CCTV etc.why not in a beautiful way ✌🏻
Adam Fergusson yeah if it were me I’d ask for a good one of me
jk, maybe tho, I mean it’d be cool
thats literally what street photography is lol
This was a sick video! Definitely bring this back for another! You should do one for every city you go to!!
i'd like to hear a little bit about why you're taking a shot a certain way and settings. i have a nikon d3500 and it takes awhile to change some settings. it's cool to see how fast you can do it on your camera.
deannam1981 One of the differences between entry level cameras and higher level bodies. I have the D3400 so I know how you feel. Great image quality but everything is so much slower to change.
Idk about about the D3500, but Sony cameras allow you to make custom controls which makes changing common settings really easy.
SushiSky Yeah, nah the D3*** series doesn’t allow that. It’s a very cheap entry level camera so you can’t expect much. Only has 11 focus points 😂 but a 24MP sensor isn’t anything to laugh at for something so cheap.
I think this was honestly my favorite photography video I've seen before.
It's inspiring to see how you "simply" snap the shots and yet they're beautiful
Definitely going to bring my camera around more and just shoot
Please do make more of these, it was a blast to watch!
The only thing I would’ve want is the settings of the photos like fstop and shutter speed
Liam Wills same
pretty sure it was all taken at F2.0 and 1/1000

@@AK-sp5cy How can they all be the same? There's change in lighting.
@@danlightened True good point, watched the video again and saw his aperture mainly varied from 1.4-2.5 throughout with a mix of shutter speeds and iso
really enjoyed this video. It's given me motivation to go out and shoot more. I deff don't love street photography, but it think it will help open my creativity in the other forms of photography i do. Mainly event/concerts/music etc. I often find myself struggling with creative and different perspectives when out on a paid gig.
it’s crazy how no one realized their photo was being taken and looked at you mid shot
85mm will do that. Even with a 50mm in a busy place people don't realise. Go ultra wide too. I can avoid eye contact and have someone straight up look into the lens on my 28mm and think they're safe when they aren't. So long as you aren't centering people they don't know what you're shooting.
This is possibly one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Please keep doing these
How does the photo have that kind of filter look to it? Is it like a filter lens or is it a edit?
Both the photo and the video is highly color graded.

This was such a dope video!! I preferred you didnt say much and we just got to listen to the ambiance and shutter ❤ Subbed
Does it ever feel awkward snapping pictures of random people on the street like that?
Maybe the first couple times you go out shooting yes, but eventually you'll get outside your box
Nothing to worry about if you're not doing anything wrong. Being weird about it is what makes it awkward and creepy
Yes if you with phone, but if your shot with camera its okay, people didn't care much, just curious why you take their photo.
People are probably used to him coming out and just taking pictures 😂
Only if you degrade street photography into "snapping pictures of random people on the street".
This is my new ASMR. Also getting motivated to goes out. Great vids keep it going.
