I'm from India & I've seen nearly 50+ reviews of Hunter. I've came here only to see those BEAUTIFUL landscapes. Hope I'll also make a visit to these peaceful country side. And above all , it's a nice and detailed review 👍👍
Great review , I’ve owned my Hunter a little over 2 months and covered 600 mile , city commute and country riding here in the Peak District I’ve been riding over 40 years and for a bike of it’s size it is very comfortable and so easy to ride , looks and sounds great and brilliant on fuel , made me smile a lot so far , well done Royal Enfield 👍👍
@@thebingleywheeler If I hadn't bought an Enfield 500 Pegasus four years ago, I would jump at this bike! In the 1970s and 80s, I owned a couple of 350 Bullets. Great machines!
A very good and comprehensive review, covering varied road situations. I bought my new Hunter 350 on 7 October and am gingerly running it in ready for better days in late winter. Only 100 miles on the clock as of Nov 26! I am 74, nearly 75, have had 16 bikes previously. A long 18mth break since my 2004 T100, with a serious illness in 2022 and I find myself a wee bit nervous on the Hunter so I have enlisted on a refresher course in January.
That sounds like a very sweet engine they've made there. Again, another one to test ride... My retirement is getting nearer and I feel lucky there's never, or at least recently, been so much choice of machines that seem to fit with my liking.
Great post, The only thing stopping me from getting one at the moment would be it's touring capability due to it's low power, my Honda Forza 350 scooter, is my commuter and it is also used for touring, great storage and weather protection. reason being after 44 years of biking my needs are light weight, ease of use and comfort, the HUNTR looks great.....
Nice bit of history Dave, I never knew about the “ Big Bang man”. If you filter in Bradford you take your life in your hands regardless of bike size. It looks like RE are targeting the youth market and good luck to them, we need more young people on bikes. Looks like you had a cracking day for the test ride.
Cheers Pal yes the motorcycle industry needs to appeal to the young to survive. We are the old guard now after all. Bradford just gets worse….they’re scared to police it!
I've stopped commuting across Bradford & l am far from a nervous rider, way too many "pool" cars with untraceable drivers. The Aire Valley is as far south as l am going to ride now. 😁 Nice review, l'll call at Appleyards when the 650's arrive now that the Shipley place has closed.
I think they’ve struck gold with that one mate. Shame the tripper units aren’t fitted out of the factory. That’d keep the young un’s happy. Funky colour ways and no chrome to keep on top of. It’s the future. Like garlic bread 😂
Great review Dave, all bases covered 👍🏻 If I needed a commuter this would definitely be a bike I’d consider. A cracking addition to the Royal Enfield range. Cheers
Great review! I truly enjoyed the ride and the narrations. I'm buying the Royal 350 for my son as his first bike after seeing this and other reviews. Keep up on riding and the great work!
This is absolutely fantastic review. Thank you very much. As a beginner I am thinking about this bike. Seems it has enough power and character to let me gain riding experience safely.
After watching about a dozen reviews plus this one i think my mind is made up. This bike has everything im looking for as a begonner rider. Thanks for the great review!
Just got the bike. I would say the handlebars are far too forward. It is tolerable, but not comfortable. I think I will try to find angled bar risers to help it. But other than that, it is really good. You can stand on the pegs, it is just light enough to feel in control, the throttle is SMOOOTH compared to 98% of bikes out there. You can ride with just the throttle many intersections and slow crawl parking areas, which you couldn't do in a lot of bikes. For example MT-07 requires constant clutchwork, and has a jerky throttle compared.
Great review!! I've had mine, in Rebel Red, for nearly a month now and really enjoying it. I'm being kind to it as it's not fully run in yet (300 miles to go to the 1240 mile mark) and I'm impressed with the fuel economy ...... checked it today after fueling up ........ 109mpg!!!! As you say, if you use both brakes, together, it pulls up just fine ....... I've had no issues and I'm gobbsmacked at how good the suspension is for the price. Strangely, I test rode the Classic 350 as there were no Hunter demos available near me and loved that bike too ...... especially the looks. Cheers, Phil
An excellent, and very sensible, review of an excellent, and sensible, bike ! I think an Enfield 350 may be my next, and final, bike. The only thing stopping me is the distance to my nearest dealer, 150 miles ! I wish that in remote places such as mine RE would allow the local bike shop to be an authorised service agent. Finally, I wish RE would start importing Ceat tyres as they appear to be perfectly good tyres at a fraction of the overpriced brands we have at present.
Apart from the bike, the tour that you have given us alongside your review of the motorcycle is actually the highlight of your video and kept me engaged all through. Thanks.
What a brilliant and well articulated review. I’m still torn between the hunter (hntr) or the interceptor as my first bike. If I’m ever in Bingley I’d happily buy you a pint. Thanks for the great video
Although the Hunter 350 is marketed at young people it works equally well for those of us at the other end of the spectrum. I’m well past retirement age and of slight build and the HNTR is just great in every way for me. I had a Classic 350 last year and couldn’t get on with it at all, far too unwieldy. Nice review by the way, I wonder if the dealer is supplying an owners manual with the bike, I’ve been waiting 2 months for mine 😂

Great review of the HNTR 350 (which I'm possibly getting soon). As someone else mentioned, Sir Fred Hoyle coined the term 'Big Bang' but opposed the theory and took a lot of flak for doing so. Now the Big Bang Theory is looking pretty shaky, so Fred was probably right after all!

Just a note on Fred Hoyle. He was a proponent of the steady state theory of the universe and coined the phrase big bang as a bit of a dig at the currently accepted theory and the name stuck. While he was wrong on that he did ground breaking work in other areas, particularly stellar nuclear synthesis.

@@thebingleywheeler ….. That is the worst news I’ve had all day. I grew up reading stories and dreaming about 500cc singles and I had one that I regret selling more than any other bike I’ve had. So it goes. Thanks for the reply. I’ve subbed in to your channel, keep spreading the word.
Cheers buddy sorry to be the bearer of bad news re bullet 500
Why in Indonesia is so expensive 😮😭
Turn off the indicators Wheeler 😜
is this run in? nobody every mentions this and it's 100% key. my 350 classic is a totally different animal after the 2000km
Not sure if demos are ever run in as such…it’s been a pain running in my Classic 350
@@thebingleywheeler once you hit the 2000 mile mark it's fully run in, got 3000 on my classic now and it's great 😊
Yes I can feel mine loosening up nicely 😎👍🏻
The unit you got is different from Indian unit? Indian reviewer are all about negative
This bike is almost the same price as my 125 Honda scooter.
Shame that petrol bikes will be banned from sale after 2035.
God created the heavens and the earth!
12:27 nothing serious but, people seriously need to learn crossing streets.
I'm not from India! 😳
Neither was Tommy Cooper’s dad 😂
No they won’t let you have a test ride if your a golden oldie poor service,
That sounds discriminatory
Great bike , but DOES NOT cruise at 70 . 55 is your cruising speed 60 tops . At 70 you are bullying it and you won't get longevity 👍
Love your beliefs politics and thoughts. Must be getting old✊🏼
With age comes wisdom 😉
No walk around, no specs. No nothing. He just wants to ride and speak a bit.
@lowesaxon another typical piece of nonsense from someone who hasn’t even watched the video….the walk around and specs are all there….only a fool starts to pen critical comments without checking the facts first! 😂
