Dayumm I opened up this game a few months ago and was shocked how hard it is to run even on modern hardware. Surpised this game wasn't called the new crysis lmao
This game literally feels like it's from current gen of graphics. And it ain't even that hard to run actually considering my 970 could do ultra quite well. Modern games wouldn't and wouldn't even look that good.
5600X is similar performance to 8700K OC in games. The bottleneck would be when using FXAA instead of TXAA where the FPS skyrocket but anyway this game is getting bugged out if you play it at more than 80-90 fps so 8xmsaa have to be enabled to play it without weird things popping out in the world.
2017 - Don't buy 8700K buy R5 2600X, Intel is overpriced. Also don't buy more than 3200 Ram - Waste of money. 2023 - 8700K OC with more than 3200 mhz ram is faster than 5950X in modern games.
@@ferdiisagamer1 Corsair H100i Elite Capellix 240 right now but I had Master Liquid Lite 240 before that died on this CPU after 5 years. CPU is delided so it's 15c less then normal.
It sounds funny but 4080 is the most efficient card right now per frame according to TechPowerUp GPU reviews and this game is looks very good still to date, I still remember it is one of those games that destroyed R9 290x which is a good card back then.
There is more FPS if I use FXAA but the game breaks at 160-180 Fps the LOD doesn't load properly and it's all bugged out. Also in Rage 2 game breaks at 260 Fps. Need to lock it at 200.
It's hard to tell from a youtube vid, but how's your textures & draw distance? I've got everything maxed and the game looks pretty bad whenever I'm on the rooftops because textures more than 100m from arno don't load. Running a 4080, 7900x & 64gb ram.
Game must be on SSD. If you run it on HDD it will cause texture loading issues. This game was optimized for 3GB GPU's so if you have it on SSD, everything you see is the limitation they set in the game engine.

And I'm surprised how it still look better than many modern games. Remaster of Unity with Ray Tracing, higher draw distances, textures would be epic.

Unity and Syndicate definitely were the best because of their european settings
great vid getting around 130-140+ at 1440p max

Your cpu is much slower than overclocked 8700K with 4200 CL16 ram so that's why. I actually upgraded to 13600K and tuned my ram to 4000 CL15 now.

HWiNFO64. Only frame time graph is added with MSI Afterburner on top of it.
