Although I know the huge importance of looks, you are missing the point from the first guy in two ways: 1. He talks about the importance of confidence (not about being a good guy). You can be an asshole and have a great personality for women, or you can be a good guy and still have a great personality for women. So there is no point in comparing them with criminals. 2. He doesn't say personality is everything but indeed is something to take into account. Personally I have a friend that is good looking but he is not that good with women compared to another friend who is a 5.5/6 and throughout his life he has find great success with women.
