As an oilers fan there hasn't been a more fun series than the one between the Oilers and Flames. Hockey is much better when both these teams are competitive. Rip Gaudreau, he was a legend for the city of Calgary.
I’m a flames lifer yeah it’s been really rough the past two years plus seeing Johnny hockey pass away hurt us but with this season we’re hopeful for some good hockey and hope to continue to develop our new young player and hopefully wolf can shine
Seeing the Calgary Flames do a complete 180 is kinda surreal to see. Also remember when people thought the Flames won the Thachuk trade? They look stupid now.
You should do a video type essay on what Mike Grier has done since joining the Sharks as GM. Lots of big trades and big draft picks that has completely transformed the Sharks in just 2 years from one of the worst prospect pools to arguably the best
As a Flames fan, the year that Gaudreau (RIP) decided to leave, I was screaming for a rebuild. The upcoming draft was the Bedard draft, it was the perfect season to try and get a generational talent. I'm just glad that Lindholm didn't accept the giant offer the Flames made him and we're finally rebuilding.
Honestly, glad management realized we need to rebuild. We’ve always been stubborn about that and really Everytime shit goes bad management just says “we need to retool”
I knew the flames were cooked the second they lost tchacuk and gadreau and i called it before like literally no teams in major sports wins after how much turnaround the flames went over RIP Johnny and Matthew Gadreau
I found it so weird how some people were saying they improved that offseason and that they would win the Pacific. I assumed they would finish 3rd in the division but man they fell off hard.
The issue with this team is they lost all their old chemistry. They lost Monahan Tkachuk and Gaudreau all in the same szn. Who were seen as at one point the first line and probably would've been the first line the next 2 seasons.
It goes to show that teams on paper don't always work. Yeah Kadri Huberdeau Weegar were all elite players. But that dosent mean they fit in every team. The core Calgary had fit in Calgary
Rest In Peace Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau
Amen brother

Mike smith ☣️
@@bitlifetutorials That legend single handedly won us games and lost us others. That 150 ft goal in the playoffs killed me
Conroy has done a great job so far, hopefully he keeps it up
Video essay videos go hard
More of these man only so many lists u can make
These do take a shit of time but I'm definitely gonna mix more in and do less lists

Good to see you're covering a small market Canadian team in such detail. Nice work.
Thank you!

Huberdeau before that trade was being talked about for team Canada first line. Hope he bounces back a bit for his own sake

Seems like Conroy is down to suck this season

HGAHAAHHAHAAH wild
Treliving, genius at work
"Can you stop underachieving for 5 fucking minutes, Calgary?" -UrinatingTree
At least they're intentionally ass now!
That 2022-23 team couldve been something special if they performed man 💔 but im so excited for the rebuild under Conny
Great video
Nice thumbnail 👌

The Flames also got Grushnikov from the Stars with the Tanev deal

That picture of the avs playing holding the cup is Andrew Cogliano is it not hahahaha?
Flames will more or less tank for the '24-'25 NHL Season!
Yessir!
Man I'm praying for Huberdeau. I got him in fantasy too. I really think and hope this man will be back to ppg pace.
How do you expect him to do any better when all his best teammates are being traded away
Definitely added a lot of good prospects on defence but I believe the top end forwards will come in the next two drafts barring being mediocre again
Frondell this year lock it in
Popisil and Zary have decent upside in fantasy
