I’ve been cutting up pretty tissue boxes for years, making straight and pretty bookmarks…never anything so interesting and precious as this so I’m off to the races! I even contacted the leading tissue manufacturer and suggested they make the perforated rip out a pretty bookmark with their LOGO in tiny print. I was a marketing and sales manager for a food manufacturer at the time. Haha. They weren’t interested. Retired now and doing what I love. Whimtastic!
I didn't think I could have so much fun with tissue boxes! From your tutorial, I made a birthday card that held a gift certificate and other goodies. The recipient was very happy about it.
Because these tissue boxes are pretty, I never wanted to throw them away but I didn't know they could make such a gorgeous wallet or holder of whatever you choose to use it for. What a genius idea. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
I haven’t even started watching this tutorial yet but I was so excited to see it in my feed just now and I’m snuggled up to watch! Your videos are so fun and slightly addicting ! 💕
I can do that!!! I'm excited to make these. Thanks to you Natasa I pulled out my unopened sewing machine that I purchased over 2 years ago. I've been a happy sewing fiend! 🌻💗🍁💜
I love this project so much ! If I could I would fill in a whole line of "Like" ! Now I can't wait for my kids to finish tissue boxes around the house. Thank you very much for all the wonderful things you are showing us. You are inspiration, really. Lucile
This is a wonderful video! I like repurposing tissue boxes because they are so pretty, and after all the tissues are gone, I would like to make the box into something else. Your tutorial is easy to follow, and I love that you have written instructions on paper! Thanks for the tutorial! ~Janet in Canada
Love ,Love Love this.Have been saving tissue boxes since watching your last video about how to recycle them.Am going into my craft room to make this wallet NOW !!!Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent.
these turned out so nicely! i like how you left some of the original box design showing. some of the tissues boxes these days are very pretty! thank you for all the ideas!😍
Just when I thought I seen it all then comes Natashia with a video on "empty "Tissue Boxes"? This is so simple. Now I have to hurry up and use up my tissues so I get boxes & ask friends for help. This is such a great idea, even as a gift to anyone as a card even. Love your imagination on how to use things we would otherwise toss out. Be safe & TYFS
I love this because I'm always the person going through the tissue boxes at the store to pick the prettiest pattern. 😂 This way it has a purpose, nicer crafts!
There you go again! You’re AMAZING! I’m going to make some of these! I hope I can find some holiday tissue boxes to do some for Christmas as well. You’re my favorite!! 😍😍😍👍🥰🌺💥
This was very inspiring... as usual! I also like the fact that you do not use Digitals, because I don't have a printer either. You are just THE BEST Journal teacher out there!! Truly mean it. Thanks for teaching us! Hug!
Natasa, You are brilliant! Loved this tutorial, but I love ALL your tutorials. It is my belief you are truly gifted with your creative talent. I get inspiration from you and it makes me think of ways to create without spending money on things I can't really afford. I have many art/craft supplies and you encourage me to use my thinking and use what I have. I am thankful for that. Looking forward to your next project. Thank you so much. I hope you are staying safe. Be happy. Much love.
You are by far my favorite on UA-cam. I love that you repurpose what we all have for supplies. I cannot afford to buy digital, although there are so many beautiful ones out there. Do you remember where you bought your wonderful box of brads? I don’t have any and need to buy an assortment. Thanks, and please keep your wonderful tutorials coming!
I don't know if this helps you Donna, depends where you live but I have used eyeletoutlet.com and if you use Etsy just search for Brad's and you can usually find some good deals. Brad's and eyelets are something I sometimes buy from Wish or Amazon too. 🙂
Love this and will make some for my friends, am now saving my tissue boxes and check out the designs on them before I buy them, thanks for all your videos, they are always fabulous. Thanks again from Australia 🇦🇺❤️
Wonderful tutorial! I used to wonder why people made these books or wallets full of pockets and tags. Well after my fiance died 4 years ago, I kept trying to make a scrapbook of memories but it felt so artificial ... I started looking through a box of our stuff and realized we'd made all sorts of little notes for each other. Then I looked through all our text messages, letters, and my memory. Now I know what to write on all the little tags!! To me these wallets can be *moments in time* like a photo but instead capturing all the words, lyrics, inside-jokes and ephemera that was our brief time together. And I have plenty of tissue boxes from tears, saved but didn't know why, now I know why ❤ Sorry, too wordy. Just hoping someone else might need inspiration like I did and found here. Thank you.
This is my 3rd time watching the video! I made one but used card stock to cover the front and back. I used one sold sheet on each side and it buckled😂 my mistake. But you are the only person which can take a plain tissue box and make it elegant. You need to be on television!
Now I know why I saved all those Kleenex boxes! Thank you for this wonderful, creative way to recycle. I will watch your video on other projects using tissue boxes too.
Thank you for this awesome tutorial! I just wanted to mention that in the last view with the instructions side-by-side we could not see the full pages of the instructions. The camera was a bit too close. But I was able to get individual shots throughout the video. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! I absolutely love your style and creativity! 🥰
Hi Debbie, I just checked the video, and the pages are definitely in full view. What device did you watch the video on? If on ipad, perhaps you double clicked the screen which than enlarges the screen and you are not able to see full screen....
Great project! I save all kinds of things like tissue boxes & my family thinks I'm bonkers. It just takes a bit of creativity &/or an internet search to remake old stuff into useful things.
I have other boxes that would also work as we don’t typically buy tissues in boxes. I have started hoarding bits of paper, I’ve always hoarded fabric and wool... oh dear! I love this project. You are such a good tutor. Everything is so clear and easy to follow and you so well prepared. I’m going to make some of these. Hugs from the UK xx
Thankyou for showing us how to do those lovely bigger brads…. Had worked them out myself by using brads and hand cut out cardboards still wasn’t sure and then you showed us what you do which made me feel much more secure in journaling…. Again many thanks dear Natasha 🧚🏿♂️💕🦋🌸😘🌻❤️💐🥀
OMGoodness. I love it!!!! So useful and basically free to make. I have to do this. I can make it for myself for some ephemera for different occasions. Thanks so much for the great idea!!!!
I just love all of your ideas, they are SO inspiring. I noticed that Dawn from the channel "Let's Make a Mess Today" did a version of this inspired by you. See, you are getting lots of people's creativity going! Thank you for sharing, Natasa.
Thank you so much Natasha, I really really love ❤️ this idea 💡. I can even make one of these. I’m going to keep back the tissue boxes so I can whip up a few of these. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Such a fantastic idea, I love how you use your imagination and things you already have to make amazing creations! Very inspiring, and I appreciate that you don't use digitals. Not that theres anything wrong with them but I don't have a printer! ❤❤❤

I have used Kleenex boxes for many things over the years, including holding a group of paper back books by the same author or a series. I am just getting into Journaling. This is a great video for another use of those boxes. Thank you.

Thank you, this is such a great idea. And, you wouldn't have to limit yourself to just tissue boxes, you could use cereal boxes, mac and cheese boxes, anything.
Just finished my first one of these, very cute! I covered the outside of my box with papers, too. Wish I had cut the ribbon longer for the closure, though! No room for beads and I don't have more ribbon. Next time... Thanks again, Natasha!
I love watching you do these projects. Can we see some more storage ideas. It seems like you have as much or more stuff as me, I need some storage ideas around the craft room. I started... But I thought I'd ask. Thank you Natasha for another awesome tutorial.
