Yeah thats some scary stuff, one time a house in my neighborhood literally turned into a nuke and exploded. Everything in a 3 house radius was destroyed and my house had some minor damages thankfully

@@Pennydog1234 yes, everyone survived. Thankfully everyone was evacuated before the house blew up, cost them nearly 1.3 million dollars in damages, though there was a few ppl who had major injuries they are fully healed now

This reminds me a lot of a similar situation that happened a few years ago which I myself experienced. There was a gas leak in our utility room as well however it wasn’t as bad originally. What made it really dangerous was when my dad turned on a switch for a heater, which was right outside of the utility room. As expected it nearly immediately exploded and my dad was rushed to the hospital where he had to stay for a few weeks. It doesn’t end there though. After we evacuated and and my dad was taken by an ambulance one of the people who had come to try and handle the fire and gas now coming out of the utility room noticed that due to the explosion, the pipes above the room had collapsed which caused water to start rushing down the walls and ceiling. It put out the fire but also flooded the entire house. This basically means we lost everything in the house, had my dad in the ER, and were stuck outside on a cold dirt path out in the outskirts of town. Now we were lucky that my grandparents were planning on selling a house they owned and allowed us to move into it rent free and we’ve been here since then because we never got to go back to our old house. Thinking about the way all of this could have went had my dad not been protected by a singular wall sends shivers down my spine. That day I could have lost everything, but life blessed my family with survival.
Edit: As an answer to a few people in the replies wondering how my father is now, he is doing relatively fine. Due to the incident and the wall collapsing but still somewhat protecting him he’s doing a lot better than he could have been as he just suffers from a bit of back pain due to his back being what was mainly injured. At the moment he’s scheduled on pain medications and has to wear a back brace for a few more weeks and then they said he could start removing his brace every now and then to get his back back into motion. Side note: don’t give the UTTP bots attention all they want is attention so don’t give them it and I appreciate the support from you all.

As someone who had multiple near death experiences it is very scary because you see your life flash before your eyes quite literally and just want the moment to end with you alive when it's over

( he has two young kids btw) The day after it happened one of his friends had the get his kids new bikes and toys because everything was gone. On Easter I was helping with my church and I wasn’t expecting him to be there because he goes to a different church but I saw him there and he smelt like a campfire. Since then they have been living in his friend’s home and they still don’t know why it started. They think it was a gas leak. I’m glad Kreek is ok.

Reminds of my story that was not really similar to yours but had the same concept-
There i was in the kitchen making some food on a pan and then i was gonna make a omelet so i went to show my dad my AMAzInG egg cracking skills and then suddenly my mom just shouts out of nowhere ''WHAT IS THAT SMELL?!'' she just goes to kitchen to check and just looked at me
She turned off the gas and and came up to me and my dad and i still cant belive i had done this. She told me the house could have exploded cuz of me- Basically what had happened was i put the flame on low flame but on the stove the flame was not coming as it was on VERY low flame so basically the gas was just leaking out. All this because of my egg cracking skills..

I also had a dangerous gas leak yesterday. So basically, one of the gas pipes right outside my window, under the house was leaking, for about 5 months, I didn't really know about it, as my window couldn't open for some reason. Once the window problem was fixed, I went to sleep as normal, but with the window opened. When I woke up, I smelt something a bit weird. But brushed it off, and continued about my day. I was freezing in my room, and for some reason I just didn't choose to turn the heater on, which saved my life.
A few days went by, until I started to think about the smell. It was getting a bit bad. So, because I didn't know about gas leaks, I didn't recognize the smell and went outside to check. Turns out one of the pipes cracked and gas was leaking everywhere under and outside of the house. I immediately called the gas company and they told me to leave the house, and wait for one of them to come over. Then, a guy came and turned off the gas, he checked some stuff and told me that I was safe to enter the house again, but to not use the heater until someone came by and fixed it.
I could've died by turning on the heater, and the window is fixed at that time which allows me to smell the gas leak.

something similar happened to be a few years ago. a tree fell on our propane tank and no one in my family heard it and we were cooking. with gas. which should have blown up the house but it didn't somehow and my neighbor heard the tree fall on my propane tank so they called the fire department and we evacuated the house and a little bit later (I forget if it was hours or days because it was so long ago), we went back inside our house and it was fine.
Unless something you sprayed at the spider or something sparked when you moved stuff when maybe something unplugged it could have started it or maybe what you were spraying at the spider if it was bug repellant it may have been flammable and it all ends up adding up to the story eventually

2:03 tip for 🚫spiders: spray peppermint oil in a spray bottle (hair mist spray bottle works) and possibly dull with water (your choice, not necessary) and it keeps spiders out. Spraying corners, door cracks, and unused areas should work. Also, spiders are great for keeping ants/flies/crickets out but if you don't like spiders use RAID or similar products for pesky insects.

This reminds me in January my home city (ulaanbaatar) had a gas explosion nearby around 400-500 meters away from me and the gas was made of natural gas and 6 people died 3 were firefighters and the fire managed to reach the building nearby i saw the moment happen right in my eyes i was scared when the first building caught on fire and thinking the building i was would get in fire so i went told my family and we evacuated and the fire never ended up touching the building i was in and 8 people were injured i hope the people are recovered from the explosion and i hope the gas explosion never happens again

We actually did have a gas explosion like a month ago, everyone is fine tho, the explosion was very little so no one got hurt even tho my dad was right next to the heater, that scared the crap outta me
This was sorta similar to an incident I had at my old house. We had a gas stove in our kitchen and it started to create a weird like smell. When the maintenance people came, they found that there was a leak in the stove; and if not fixed, the stove could explode.

The gas valve controls gas flow into the furnace through gas lines. If a gas line or valve leaks, you'll notice a strong gas smell around the furnace. Gas lines leak due to improper installation, age, and accidental damage. You'll require a professional to inspect and repair your furnace if you smell gas around it

Kreek like abt 1 or 2 months ago. I’ve gotton almost the same thing as u but a little less dangerous. So this afternoon where i was at my dinner table eating my dinner nice food everything etc etc. Then a gas detector of ours went off. My dad was sitting what is that sound? Lets check at the furnace. It’s my and my brothers room we needed to remove one of our bed and open the door to the furnace. The thing is this gas is a weird gas type. This gas makes u incredibly sick and u can’t see or smell it. But it couldn’t blow up aswell. We were trying to find out where it came from. Questioning if it’s just the old gas detector going off randomly cuz of battery’s. We called a expert and he said i see nothing. U should use my modern gas detector and he went away after that. Then after som hours it went off right before i wanted to sleep. My dad said i’ll let u guys sleep at my and ur moms bed cuz my mom has nightshift and my dad can sleep on the couch. Then he gave it one more change and let de furnace door open with the window and the door closed of the room so now gas came in. Well after that it went off again around 3 am when we all were sleeping including my sister of 2. He called a ambulance for emergency and we stayed outside for around a hour . They found nothing no detection nothing but i noticed. My sister’s nose was closed and mine a little and my dad said oh ur sister alr got a little sick of it thats not good. So the ambulance did go away cuz there was no gas detection that moment they gave some advise and said turn everything off, doors closed, windows open and he said if it goes off again call back immediatly we believe u. After that we went back and slept there was no detection. In the morning i was at school . A professional came checked things out nothing. To this day we still don’t know where it came from or how . Am from the netherlands

I had this incident at school we evacuated due to one but it was in an oven that was on so we had to run without any hesitation anyways we survived and got picked up early

not sure if this is true, but my brother told me once we had a gas leak in our house because of our dog ?? not sure about that part, but our mom usually comes home back at 7 am, and my brother said she usually has a ciggarette when she comes back, and he told me that if she came back with one that day, it would've been over and the house would've exploded, but by some huge miracle it didnt so the house didnt blow up, so thats that i guess
i'm not sure if this is true btw because my brother can be known for some tomfoolery
