We’ve got a long one! Thank you for always sending recommendations my way, I so greatly appreciate you guys for doing that. Some of the story I did cut out for time purposes, but over all we got the major stuff covered. Um, not much you can really say about him. You know what’s crazy though ? His upbringing seems so tame compared to lots of others we’ve talked about here and he was REALLY BAD. I wonder if there was more to his upbringing he didnt share or I missed. My heart breaks for the families of these innocent victims. Completed the Netflix series. Evan Peters deserves an award. He's such a great actor. But I do hope he recovers mentally from playing such monster. Everyone did such an amazing job. My heart goes out to the families.

Kwittz 👏🏻 Top form, love this. I’m usually so desensitised, especially when listening to true crime, but this case truly had me gagging.
The smell in his apartment must have been horrendous. I can’t imagine anyone tolerating that smell. The fact that the police knew is beyond me. I don’t know how they sleep at night. The grandma knew too. I believe the father saw red flags but it never went any further than that. If they had turned him in so many people would be alive today.
And nothing happened to those police officers.
Imagine having two or more rotten dead rats i believe. Like huge rats

If any of y’all didn’t already know, Jeffrey was beaten to death by a fellow inmate while performing cleaning duty in prison. I really hope, unfortunately doubt that he did, but hope that he experienced some little bit of empathy in those last moments while he was being beaten the way he did to so many poor innocent men.

Just finished the Dahmer series and the statements from the victims families broke me. Also seeing his Lionel break down and blaming himself for failing as a father and scene where Gacy gets executed and Dahmer gets baptised gave me chills.

I just watched the series on Netflix and the amount of anxiety, frustration, and anger I got is unmeasurable.

@Chris Sunberg I disagree bc she left out the story of the deaf victim and she left out the fact that most of the victims were poc, which played a huge role in Dahmer's case.

The series isn't that bad the only really gross scene is where they open the drum. Otherwise you don't really see him cutting up the victims. I honestly was expecting dexter kind of scenes and there were none

I wanna see this house on N. 25th Street in Milwaukee. I did read the book on this case; it only included a photo of the childhood home. And I don't think it was in Milwaukee? I think it was in another state out east (Ohio?) That was the first victim's origin? Then the family had moved out to Wisconsin or was from there, is why grandma was there, and how he ended up there? Correct me if I'm mis-remembering!

It’s really sad that his dad thought he was just taking an interest in science, and saw it as an opportunity to bond with his son when he was teaching him about preserving animal bones. To have it take such a dark turn... truly sad..
