So I finally caught up with the last episode and I also just finished the 3 quests for the Vagabonds and had a lot of fun but now l’m sad because I just watched Gopher pick a magazine in the boat I just sank ... Oh well. On another topic after many trials and frustrating attempts I can attest that most settlements are completely broken. The London bridge one being the worst. Settlers un-assign themselves from their beds and jobs then from the settlement, they are still there hanging around but they don't show in the stats. You can re-acquire them by finding them and sending them to the settlement of your choice, even the one they're standing in and re-assign them to their beds and jobs but they'll just un-assign themselves again. The only way I managed to have functional settlements is by using Sim Settlement, the first one (didn't try the 2 too complicated to set up outside the commonwealth IMO). Even when selecting the option in the settings the settlers won't be automatically assigned to a residential or work plot so there is still a bit of micromanagement but once that's done they stick around and work properly as long as you only assign them to sim settlement plots and not vanilla jobs or beds.This means they can't be assigned to a supply route unfortunately. Only one of the handful of settlements I've found works as intended without the mod, won't spoil it of course but if/when you find a settlement that's in it's own cell you'll know that one works. And that's the workaround I've found to make supply lines between my settlements, I use that one settlement as a central hub. I even downloaded the salvage beacon mod and set it up that that specific settlement but I haven't tested it yet so I can't confirm if it works.

That auto disarming thingy on rooted rank 3 was a godsend on my melee build so many insta blocking enemies left without weapon with that perk.
