this is even harder on the viola because the hand has to stretch even more
also viola is less responsive, so it is harder to get a good sound
Agree. I can’t stretch my hand that far without having my pinky finger and joint knuckle cramp 😂

Hand sizes and body shapes vary greatly from player to player, so that's not really that much of a thing: small-handed violinists still have to do what those with big hands do, and vice-versa. What's most impressive here is getting that kind of definition and tone production out of the instrument. Those heavier strings are more difficult to set in motion. I bet that's a *really* good instrument, expertly played.
That was really really great! It takes a lot of talent to get a viola to sound like that.
@TwoSetViolin
LoL
and once again.
@twosetviolin
twosetviolin!
@Twosetviolin is just going to complain that she's not using original bowing.
Wonderful tone and technique, especially with such a large range.
Really amazing playing. The clarity of the sound in the lower register is particularly awesome-- each note comes out. Gorgeous.
The tempo is great, and she takes sensible liberties! Very well prepared and played. The response of her viola in combination with her bow is wonderful - it is fairly hard to "activate" the sound for each semiquaver with such clarity. A truly awesome video here :)
This must be ling ling's inspiration to take up the viola.
deepa dass ling ling would never
@@MC-kp2oi
But he plays every instrument perfectly.
@@happypiano4810 yeah
awesome clarity! I love how each note jumps out, even on the low registers
Holy shit that is fast, like even compared to other versions of no. 5 I’ve heard
Bravo Bravo.
Parabéns sua sonoridade e maravilhosa!
(Brasil)
God damn! It’s so clear and intune!!! And beautiful tone.
Love this performance
I think the only reason why this has dislikes is because the channel that uploaded is not the actual person playing.
Your shifting and clarity is flawless
Viola gang viola gang viola gang
Spent ten racks on a c string
I can’t stand your e string
XD
100 likes and 0 dislikes! thats the proof then this is a good interpretation. congrats!!!!! (i am 100th like)
Exquisite playing!!!!!!!!Awesome
Que velocidade é essa menina 🙂
She is good! Usually I think violas are too slow-resposive to play those quick-paced transcriptions, but here it went pretty fine.
Потрясающе 👏🏻👏🏻
Incredible!
Astounding facility and beautiful tone.
Most Beautiful!
Oooh, I know that hand was sore after that cause that's a lot to do on a Viola.
She is on fire .

EXCELENTE
que bien!
Whoa!
👍
this is amazing, but the bowing is different from the actual thing. it’s more ricocheted
Im mean. Its good. But did she forget that the 5th Caprice is basically a bunch of ricochet?
William DatKKid It can also be done differently, it is true that the original version of paganini comes with another bow stroke... I think its not exactly ricochet..
it’s supposed to be saltando but likeee that’s not very fun to do on c string 😂
She tried leonidas kavakos style
Brilliant but she does not use the correct saltando bowing.
David Smith she does
Fabrizio Pomata no she doesn’t.. but this bowing sounds good as well 😊
Almost nobody is using the right bowing
David Smith Bruh barely anyone does
The "Saltando" on a viola would make it sound like a lawnmower. Never never never neeeever play a viola like if it was a bigger violin. Never.
