the only part of this list that cannot be done today is the y2k panic. everything else could be redone with ease. not going backwards and not being able to do something are not the same. they are not gonna start making out of date tech but it could all be redone other then y2k panic.
You're absolutely right! Many things from the past, like old tech or practices, could be recreated with modern tools and knowledge. The Y2K panic, however, was a unique issue related to the coding limitations of the time, which is not something that could easily be replicated today. It's more about the context and challenges of the time, rather than something that's permanently "undone."
@@pgrvloik meh it will be like y2k was, not a big deal. software can be updated.just about every computer being used today will not be in use by then. they are aware of the possible issue so new computers will be made with that into consideration. it would probably only affect offices using 15 year old computers lol
I think anything could including Y2K, it would be much bigger and apparently there is one in 2036, so we;ll see how that one goes when it arrives (if it does)
The memories, the culture, and even some of the people are still very much alive and kicking. It’s a reminder that history isn’t as far away as we sometimes think-it’s just a blink in the grand scheme of things!
