I get stoned every time I watch your videos, your videos are intoxicating 😂 Alex did a good job of explaining everything at the end, keep up the good work.
As an ex service tech I agree about organizing your tools. In 17 years I never lost a tool because everything had a place and you could look and see if something was missing. Always impressed with how clean and organized all of you at Pepe’s are
Alex is like a human fly, climbing around with ease. A good man for your crew. A tag line attached to keep the container from free spinning might help with control.
I really appreciate how your truck is organised, it takes discipline to maintain and keep tidy. You know where everything is and where to put it back. You have respect for all your equipment.
Alex you are an awesome operator you understand what your limitations are and know how to rig each load with safety in mind. You are a true professional at your job and it is so cool to see how calm you are no matter the situation!!!!
I'll say it again ! Alex You are a Great Asset to the Company ,I Know you're not the only One but I've been watching you for a while now and your Loyalty ,Discipline and Commitment is without Question !! Your Consistency is what makes you a Great Asset Because of You and Josh I Love watching Pepe's Towing Service What a Great Company!
I don't know that any of them actually walked under the load but they were close enough that the security guy or the truck driver should have held them up for 2 minutes while Alex got the load further away from the sidewalk.
That truck driver couldn’t get out of there fast enough and it was interesting that no one could help with a tagline. Alex should get 2024 Employee of the Year.
@@millwrightdad3753my guess there’s a reason that fence has barbs on the top I wouldn’t want to hang around in a neighborhood where anything unattended for 5 mins goes missing Even after the point you make too
I just have to say your dad and you boys really are fun to watch. I love how you seem to really love those big trucks and what you do. Great videos. Keep up the good work.
I'm like Alex. A place for everything and everything in it's place. Saves a ton of time in the long run. Good job on the breakdown, Alex, and I remember when I too, could pull myself up and climb on a container top too, but that was probably 40-years ago.
Alex, you did great in front of the camera. Over time, you'll get more comfortable. Watching your growth from being nervous and spitting all the time to being more confident and more fit has been cool to watch. This job, while being ordinary, was still fascinating. Your upper body strength pulling you up on top of the container was amazing!!!
Great job Alex. I know this was not a complex one. Like when that Bone Head driver didn't get that Alex was yelling to him to guide the rotation of the container and he just didn't get it. Also Alex, Kudo's my man for the concise and detailed wrap up after the job was done. Brace yourself Hollywood for an up and comer. 👌👍🤙
Alex was great. The breakdown seems to have a fixed format that makes it easy to follow. Alex covered the probable questions. This looks like it will be a band stand but I wonder how the acoustics will be. Thanks for the video. Another example of the weird jobs you run into.
No spider monkey Josh, we get instead spider monkey Alex showcasing his climbing skills and abilities. Well done lad, better than I can do. Overall I liked the breakdown with Alex, he explained why he did certain things or what he thought would have or should have happened, which shows the point of never being able to always count on what should or would happen.
I always enjoy the vids, you answered my question about a tag line. The breakdown of the days event good and bad operations is a good ensight on how to grow a business model. I enjoy the situational dilemma when you have to configure your rigging to accomlish the mission. Sometimes the simplist jobs become the head scratchers.
Thats a lot of purple, I can only guess whats in that container lol. I think all that rigging combined, is probably at least 20,000, if not more. I think we know where the weed smell is coming from, its the yahoo screaming in the blue shirt. I thought that was a cargo container, its open on one side, never seen that. Guy standing on his truck is not helping at all, while cars are going by, omg. Alex using them muscles to climb up, hell yeah! He don't need no stickin ladder lol. Tag line next time, definitely. Agreed, rotator was the right choice, preach the gospel Alex, love it!
Ya'll do such great work. I hope you are safe to drive having to smell all that. I am just baffled at how people there have no regards for their safety. They just walked under that container as if it was nothing. I know you said the cables couldn't break but you just never know. Accidents can happen. I certainly am not stupid enough to take that chance. Anyway you did an excellent job.
A great job again. The tag line would have helped to guide and for safety reasons. Also looked like people walked under the load. Thanks for speeding up the video and not cutting out the little things.
💯 agree with Alex about keeping the truck tidy and organised. I’m like that with by service van. I know where everything lives so I know where to go and grab it 😃
Watching Pepe’s towing for a wile now I’m not sure but I think it was mentioned some time ago just the rigging is over $100,000 plus and it’s worth every penny 😁
Always enjoy your videos, curious why you wouldn’t bring a helper on this considering it’s on a busy street? Someone could’ve held the container from spinning cause it was getting out of hand at one point and you even let it hit your boom to stop it? I know you guys are charging good $ and that’s your right but a couple bucks for a helper when needed is necessary. There’s also people walking right under the container as you were taking it off the flatbed like there was a cloud above them, no common sense unless they were coming out of the weed shop after sampling I guess. Great channel and edits. 👍👍
Nicely done, alex.. But, as usual, i get way to involved with the videos..I yelled at the man on the flat bed for not catching the container when alex asked him to..seriously? Did he have cotton in his ears? But you did a great job as always, alex.. Yall have a wonderful and safe week.✌️😊
Josh, to my surprise, I was reading some of the comments and as usual everyone had great comments about Alex’s great work, but I didn’t see anything about where he was dropping the container off. I expect to see some funny comments about that Exotic building, but, nothing? lol, maybe it’s just me thinking about making some funny comments.
Are all pedestrians in the US oblivious to the dangers of walking under or near heavy loads. I'm surprised that safety barriers are not compulsory near wreckers/rotators!
This was a cluster. I can’t believe that no one stopped those people who decided to not wait and walked underneath the swinging container. Amazing how some people are in such a hurry and then there was the lazy truck driver who was not willing to help by holding the container from spinning. This is the first time I have ever criticize a Pepe’s video. Not meant to offend or Monday Morning Quarterback from the Peanut Gallery
Just that little amount of rigging I would say $20-25,000. The truck alone being a 75 ton rotator is like $2.5-4 Million plus all the tools and rigging. I would guess the total value around $6 Million.
The reason the container was spinning so much is your lifting from a single fall with a six stranded type wire rope these will slowly start to untwist when under load when one end is free to spin, lifting from the two fall side would have helped with the spinning.
It was supposed to be able to spin, that was the whole point of single lining it so it would be easy to place exactly where they wanted it. The guy not keeping it steady as it came up was the issue.
@@PepesTowingService may be my British terminology didn't explain that well, I get it needed to spin from a single pick point I was getting at the number of parts of line if you lift a load with one part of line with a 6 strand rope it will keep spinning as it's the rope unwinding that's why cranes use a non rotation type rope.
Rigging alone 100 k plus truck around 1.2 million depending on how it's outfitted not to mention 6 grand grafix probably 100 k in insurance if that would even touch it that just for flipper 😂😂 after watching Alex and flipper on this one we all know they both excited on this job first time I ever seen flipper hit
Josh what are you doing to Alex 😂? First you send him to an exotic place then he gets a good whiff of weed 🤣. Good job Alex on your first solo breakdown
If that was Australia the footpath would have to be cordoned off for that job and all the traffic stopped for the lift. Then there would have to be a supervisor, a traffic controller, and someone on a tag line at minimum.
Who else got contact high watching this video And what did everyone think of Alex's solo breakdown at the end?
I get stoned every time I watch your videos, your videos are intoxicating 😂 Alex did a good job of explaining everything at the end, keep up the good work.
🤓🙋♂️❤👍
Watch out Josh. Alex is also very good in front of the camera on the job breakdown. 😉
If I had a nickel for every dollar your gear costs, I’d be a happy man !
@gregscott9170 i could not agree with you more ALEX is PHENOMENAL. LOVE his breakdown

Mad respect for Alex for that climb
Pepe is the best in the field of towing and recovery.
Prettiest container of them all. And delivered rather than a recovery. Made for a pleasant job. And Dr Alex delivered with surgical precision.
Thank you Alex!
Damn Alex, that pulling yourself up that container without a ladder requires some upper body strength. Great job..

These breakdowns certainly enhance the videos. Alex is well spoken as well as a careful, safe, professional in the rotator world. Onward, stay safe.
The fact that nobody held the pedestrians back from walking under the container blows me away
I don't know that any of them actually walked under the load but they were close enough that the security guy or the truck driver should have held them up for 2 minutes while Alex got the load further away from the sidewalk.
Completely agree. Most people have zero situational awareness. The least the driver and employees could have done would have been to help with safety.
This is LA, you need a permit to “close” the sidewalk at 3am, but not obstruct a lane for an offload.
@@jayrosenberg3646 True, even if they ran some "Danger" tape out and stand near it.
That truck driver couldn’t get out of there fast enough and it was interesting that no one could help with a tagline. Alex should get 2024 Employee of the Year.
He was standing next to it, if you are that close put your hand on it, I’ve done myself
That driver was blocking traffic, I work cranes daily. 99% of all drivers won’t help with a load as they then become liable for damages etc
@@millwrightdad3753my guess there’s a reason that fence has barbs on the top I wouldn’t want to hang around in a neighborhood where anything unattended for 5 mins goes missing

Alex, your a true professional!
Alex is the best and in future we'll learn from him. The experience from PEPE"s is worth it.
Great work Alex and good to see you in the breakdown.
Awesome breakdown, Alex.
Put it back where you found it is a time saver, for sure.

Cost of using good rigging and working safe to go home at end of the day?.. priceless

they had someone prep and paint that container. it was used . lots of dents on the side. in LA it's probably cheap and easy to get a container.,
Good job Alex setting the container and a few explanations of different things.
Nice job especially working around sky high. Stay Safe!!
Good job on the breakdown

Fire it up, come along
And take a hit from the bong

Alex, try to use the xillary winches. Moore, you won't get such a swing on the box thai to the corner of the box with your shackles.
Good one smooth 👍👍👍😊
Alex, great job as usual but where I grew up on the East Coast your ladder would have been run over or stolen as soon as the semi pulled away!
Excellent synopsis of the job. Your knowledge is great and I guess the cost of your rigging would be to 30K.
What's up Alex, is that one of the quickest pick up Job you ever done since you started working for Pepe' S Towing,
So my guess is $185,00 for the truck. $50,000 for rigginr stuff. $400 ladder (I have same ladder 😊) Total $235,400.
$185,000 for the truck? I bet closer to twice that at least.
2017 Kenworth T880 Wrecker with Century 40 Ton Rotator $639,000 !!!
$185,00 for the truck?? What, a sticker?
