Great video! I own a 2002 CLK. Burgundy over gray leather! 26mpg ,cruise control, loves 85 mph. Drove from San Diego to Tampa Florida. Beautiful performance! Thanks.

Just bought a 1999 320 with a 149k on it! I'm torn though, because I think the 430 is a better looking car and probably more fun to drive! But for now, the 320 will do!
@@alexis5266 It was £6500 and the cost of fuel is ok but not great because it does 33mpg. I can't recall the exact numbers apart from insurance which is £2800 for me
From owning one, I enjoyed it, It was my 1st Merc, beautiful build, quality with every detail. I had the same 3.2 lovely engine and will go with traction control turned off and set to sport. The steering was terrible no feeling or confidence when driving briskly. You would never want to push it there was never enough feedback. It was never made for that so I can forgive it. It was a great car but not a sports car.
Nice to see a review of my car when it was new! Even nicer that after a quarter of a century, my CLK 320 convertible is still an excellent and reliable daily driver.
I own this car now. It is so comfortable and so luxury. My 1st mercedes ( I'm still a college student). It's definitely a sport car. I also have a 2001 Volvo c70 2.3 T5, and comparing them is bi difference. C70 is like a race car compared to clk. CLK is like boss car , luxury as hell and with good sound and good performance.

I own a 2000 clk 320 convertible and the doors are designed to be snug so no rain water gets into the cabin, but once the top is down the doors close very easily. I like the fact that they are air tight and need an extra push to close.
@@alantriplett304After early 2000, the windows automatically went down a bit when opening and closing the doors. Mine was built just before that and despite having to slam the doors shut, they are amazingly waterproof for a 25 y/o convertible. Even after a car wash everything‘s dry inside.
@@jajamuc Mine is the same, no water ever gets into the interior and the windows work great. I like my 2000 clk convertible, it has 129,000 km and it has had no motor troubles and no major repairs to the electrical system. It has been very reliable. Thanks for the comment !!

100% true on the steering. V6 is the best part of this car.

Luckly rust is quite easy to fix
Automatic gearbox of CLK320 is not problematic?
No it's actually rather reliable but it does need to be serviced, if there are any issues most likely related to the speed sensors or the TCM
what color blue is that?
Tanzanite blue
i love the w208 clk better than the next one shit w209
