KW on top vs ohlins ttx. Shows a well setup package vs still need some work rush job. Both on 4th event 71RS. 抓了2年設定的KW V3 (上)vs 剛裝好的 歐老師 TTX (下)都四次71RS
Not sure if there is a kit that changes the setup to a double wishbone for the E9x M3 chasis. Anything is possible but with the oem design of the rear subframe and upper body connecting points I don't think it is possible. There is no mounting points for an upper suspension clamps. :(
Hi, interesting comparison, I've a question, the spring rate was the same? If not could you please tell the difference values between KW and ohlins? Thx
Hello! KW had Hyperco liner 9.8kg (550#) front/14.24kg(800#)rear. Ohlins is currently on 8kg(450#)front/12kg (675#)rear. For E90 M3 weight I would go higher on next revalve service. Around 600~700#/800~900#, higher if I add aero.
@@Envyscorpio budget is no concern. I was looking at KW V3. What about air suspension? AccuAir is what I’m looking at. I don’t want to remove the tires to adjust height.
@@InitialXE air is more for stance look. If looks is what you want to focus on go for it! I don’t think air can offer consistent traction or if it will last as long as regular suspension.
Kw was quicker with eibach sways, but I removed them and back on oem. Ohlins now have more grip and last longer before heat soak compare to kw. Ohlins is about 3 second faster now on new semi slicks.
No it’s about the same, depends on your springs and damper settings. I’d say ohlins handles track duty better than kw but on the street can’t beat kw cost performance.
Yes! Kw has hyperco spring swap and eibach sways. Bumping up spring rate works well. But heat soak quicker than ohlins, around half. Ohlins work well but I suspect it’s the quality of the springs (eibach) that makes the stroke a tad harder, especially at corner exit.
@@JohnnyLehti I have since removed the eibach sways and back to oem. Ohlins works great now. I think if you run aero on your car, you’d probably need a front sway only to adjust the balance.
@@Envyscorpio i understand that the Eibach swaybar messed it up as Öhlins calibrates the suspension with the oem bars. They developed the TTX kit on a friends M4.
Kw讓我驚艷,兩者價差,真的天壤之別。
性價比很高的產品. 但得換彈簧的話我會建議直接 KW CS (但沒保固)
ohlins更貴嗎?
What if the rear Proton Saga torsion beam change to the double wishbone multilink suspension system will be agile to the ride and handling?

Less steering input on tight corners for the kw. I think that’s better
Yeah I will upload some more recent videos. Sharp eyes buddy
so which one do u reckon for the track?
I would go for kw cs and ask for your local dealers advice on spring rates. Don’t waste time swapping springs on v3. Ohlins if you go every week.
What would you recommend just for daily driving ?
OEM with lowering springs if you have edc. Just to use daily and absolutely want coilovers, BC or KW… but really depends on your budget😉

@@Envyscorpio Ohlins is 3sec faster on semi slicks than the KW on the same semi slicks? That is a very noticeable difference
@@chrislittle7286 gap has been widen to 5 seconds now. But only if you know what to adjust at track.
Duno, bottom feels more smooth at the cameras.
just an illusion as the top video incorporates the roof line which creates more movement in the frame
So KW more harsh than Ohlins?

KW seems much more controlled with a better ride?!
I was thinking the same thing.

Which one is which?
Kw top
