I was wondering which parts you've done for Corridor. Now I know. Never knew you did the Peter getting hit by Nick's car, and 42 discovering Wren's cloning lab finale. Really pissed that your cameo with the radios and time traveling Wren was so brief. I really want to see a longer cameo of 42 just wrecking havoc at Corridor (no the UA-cam #OurMine isn't enough, we need more 42!). I mean, I swear that's a cliffhanger and it still hasn't been resolved! Peter's cool! We need more Peter damn it! I know you're in a different state, but still...
I know this old and there's virtually no chance you see this but I was wondering how you made the interior car crash scene at 42secs. I recently attempted a similar effect but 99% of it was done in camera but lining up 2 cars and reversing it. I hid the jank by simply cutting to black a few frames after "impact". I'm guessing that you use a green screen for the car and then use a separate plate as the backdrop(though for the life of me I can't figure out how you filmed/animated the background) I also noticed that you have some camera movement after impact. I wonder if that was in post or on set and you also rotated the background and I'm curious how that was done. Thanks for your stuff and I'd honestly love to see more tutorials from you. You really have your own unique style.
I think the car in the background was shot seperately. The foreground characters were probably projected onto 3D meshes by taking a freeze frame from just the moment before imapct and then probably ran a soft+hard body Simulation in blender. That way he has full control over the movement of actors and camera. Also if you slow down the video, you will notice how the background car is kind of stationary after imapct which further proves my above speculation. With some decent Compositing, he got what he had as the final result.
@@manavnayyar yeah I agree that the background was shot separately and I do love the idea of projection mapping the people onto meshes then running simulation but judging by the movement of the hands and such it seems almost to human to be a sim so I feel as though that may have just been good acting, maybe with a speed ramp. also I feel as though the background car may be entirely rotoscoped, or CG or projection mapped. My reasoning for this is that the background rotates around the 2 cars which would be damn difficult to film even with a separate plate.
Is there anything Peter 42 can't do?!
42 got skills
Frickin bad-ass. Who's here from Corridor?
Cameron McCanless Um... everyone?

I came here from Remington Graphics, but I wouldn't have come here if it weren't for Corridor Digital.
Holy hell. That was amazing. Beautiful music, composition, everything. Keep it up!
he may be number 42, but he will always be number 1 in our hearts

Nice job
the world is awesome if you vfx it up
Given Peter's penchant for uncompromised digital cruelty I'd say this choice of song is more than appropriate.
