I was born one week after Freddie Mercury in 1946 and first heard Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975 when it was released. Today it is still as fresh as the day I first heard it. Rest in peace Freddie.
It is thought that the man he killed in the song is his previous self when he came out as being gay to his mother.

    Happy birthday!!
Freddie was a freakin' genius!! The recording of “Bohemian Rhapsody” took three weeks and featured 180 overdubs of vocals and instruments. Since the studios of the time only offered 24-track analogue tape, it was necessary for the three to overdub themselves many times and "bounce" these down to successive sub-mixes. In the end, eighth-generation tapes were used. May recalled placing a tape in front of the light and being able to see through it, as the tape had been used so many times.

    • @abovetheinfluence9361

You HAVE to see their 20 minute session at the Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium in London. It was a worldwide concert on television to raise money for starving children. They are known as the best 20 minutes of any band in history.

If Beethoven did rock, just love that line you said 😎
Queen are considered one of the all time bands in history, sadly Freddie Mercury passed away much to soon from us.
just a few of their more popular songs to consider by queen

Please check out “Dragon Attack” Live at Montreal or in “In The Lap of the Gods” Live at the Rainbow 1974 ❤️ Great reaction. The first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody had to be on the radio when I was a kid. I heard Freddie’s voice-- and Queen stole my heart right about there.

Freddie was Indian and it lent a lot to their music! He loved Opera....& it shows! Some of the names in the operatic part are from childhood Indian stories. I love the arrangements in this piece! It's basically three songs in one...& the concert is suddenly over! lol. Love the Beethoven line! They had a hard time with the music industry over how long this song is! lol. A school dance! lol.

Exactly lol, and 99% of the people on here just take part in the illusion. It's pretty weird if you think about it, everyone just pretending 😀 but whatever floats people's boats. The thing is, he said of course I've heard this song but I want to review it with the video, it would still be fine.

I’m 74 and in my 30s and 40s was very much into music. I wrote stuff and a friend of mine recorded it in the studio. I think I was in Maida Vale BBC Studio when he came to me and said that he had something he wanted me to listen to. It was, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody. It had not been released but my mate had a copy of the master tape (hot off the press) on his own tape spool and he played that to me! I was knocked out as most people are by it! So I was one of the first people in the world to hear that song and I treasure that moment!

I love seeing first-time reactions from younger people to this classic. Of all the comments made from all the Reaction Videos I’ve seen, the comment you made on this is probably the most accurate I have heard.
You said “if Beethoven made rock music this would be it “.
