I was home in bed january 16, 2021 during Covid in the middle of five surgeries finding Dimash and paying only $10 what he charged for his digital concert show. Barbara Streisand charging $2000 a seat for hers. Dimash hired over 400 people and out this over 2 hour concert on live stream everywhere. Dimashs goal in his singing career has been more about his art than becoming rich. He’s very humble and shy when not on stage … on stage live he is a beast…yes, even after 3 shows you will recognize his prowess as the best vocalist in centuries as other professionals like yourself recognize. I recognized how good he was on the singer show in 2017 singing sos. I didn’t have to see anything else. Others in the professional world won’t use the term best as they say there are many good vocalist. Dimash has perfect pitch started in performance arts on stage at age 2 yrs. On stage professionally at age 5yrs old winning his first piano contest at that age and his grandmother who raised as is custom for the eldest child in khazakastan entered him in the music academy at the university. Dimash has always spent 3 hours a day practicing vocals with or without a vocal coach. Classically his coach did not allow him to sing falsetto. The Astana opera house had a seat for him when he graduated and in that part of the world artist are practically owned by the system. But dimash got out and went to China. I believe he’s finishing his doctorate. If you’ll notice this music video had flavors of Broadway production to it that was one of dimashs major classes in his masters. Opera singer did you recognize the genre here? … Popopera? Dimash does many and has invented many and labels his style as neoclassical. He just does too many to label. Professional to honor Dimash you must wikipedia Dimash for his about 2 hour reading of his bio for the closest to correct of his accolades. You’ll find the 6 octaves man title given him not correct as we dears and vocal coaches have seen his live video performances back to age 15 yrs and he’s 30 yrs old now. He’s close to 8 octaves now. It’s good to welcome you to the world of “Dears” as we his fans are known.

Dimash didn’t sing his highest or lowest notes here, lol. I’ve watched Dimash since 2017, have travelled overseas to three concerts so far and am going to Budapest and Istanbul for both his May concerts. I’m 79 year old U.K. lady (Christine). Dimash sings many genres and unlike opera singers singing pop,songs, but still sounding like an opera singer, Dimash has a pop voice and a folk voice, a rock voice, a tenor opera voicemail a soprano voice etc etc. you never know what he will come up with, a duet with Placedo Domingo, a blues song as a vampire, jazz version of a Kazakh folk song, a rock. version of another Kazakh folk song, the list goes on. He blends in with any duets he performs, never taking away from the other singer. He is just special and precious, humble and respectful.

Have you come across the reactor called Sir Hairless. He notices everything in every line of Dimash singing, including the orchestra or band. He is wonderful.
This is mostly different kind of his vocal rollercoasters. But most likely this is something you, as a singer, will be most interested in. And since you are an opera singer maybe you can start with Olimpico and definitely The Pearl Fishers’ Duet of Maestro Plácido Domingo and Dimash Qudaibergen as guest performers at the international finals of Virtuosos V4+ (they prepared it in a day😅)

You might want to consider Dimash singing in a mixed vocal (chest and head) instead of falsetto He will be 30 May 24th and already has 25 years of classical training under his belt. He has also trained in contemporary and pop vocals. I trained as a teenager and early 20's and believe Dimash to be the greatest vocalist out there. I will be 69 next month. His strong command of over 7 octaves of range, showmanship, and ability to handle many genera of Music makes him the most outstanding entertainer of the past few decades. I call him the prince of Kazakhstan.

An Opera singer! You should definitely watch his original song OLIMPICO! It's a rock opera and it's fantastic and so powerful! The best version is the live concert performance on Igor Krutoy's channel. He is the composer who wrote Olimpico for Dimash. ❤❤❤ Stranger is also a great piece and War and Peace... I really love all his ballads by Igor Krutoy the most. 😂❤

Found Dimash, eh? The first time this 72 year old heard him perform this lovely song my eyes welled up and a couple of tears ran down these old cheeks. My Mum sang on the stage in Britain, on Broadway, and in Europe. She’d punch out an aria in the house, on a canal in Venice (to the applause of those occupants hanging out their windows), and at the request of ladies and gents at my Dad’s advertising and sales promotion parties for customers (ITT). She also taught voice in Hollywood, Ca. I had never come across such vocal beauty before, or since. Dimash is the finest vocalist!!! I recommend you next treat yourself to his Stranger, Sinful Passion, Ikanaide, Olimpico, and his Unforgettable Day for his D8 whistle notes. Welcome to the Dimash 🐇🕳️. (FYI…. He sings a whole Concert. His voice never fails or gets tired. It’s perfection from beginning to end. He pushes his voice in ways that’s not human. He is a priceless man that is a once in a lifetime.
As said, he is very well trained. He knows what he can do and certainly would not ever do anything to damage his voice. Everything he does has a reason, he is a perfectionist & would not perform unless he is comfortable with it. If you see about 50 more performances you will understand better who and what he is and how he does it. He is an unique person, humble, kind, generous, loving, antii-war, an ambassador for peace, a philanthropist, a human with very high moral standards, patriotic and very proud of his country and culture. I don't think he has any tension in his body, I think he often directs himself when he sings. The way he moves his fingers in Love is Like a Dream when he sings some "trills" not sure that is the right word, his fingers do the same thing.
People must understand that Dimash is gifted, God give him this amazing voice, his amazing heart, his intelligence, his inner and outside beauty, he is humble, he loves art,the music is important to him like breading! Высокий и красивый, с уникальными природными данными, из обеспеченной семьи с многочисленными связями… он правильно увеличил этот свой стартовый капитал. Он - пример правильных инвестиций в себя. I have been given to understand that the Opera community is known for competition rather than inter- support. I can certainly understand why a gentle kind humble person interested in creative arts would turn down a spot at the Astana Opera as Dimash has done. I am so grateful that he did.🤩 Dimash is his own genre but includes elements of Opera, Rock, Metal, Pop, Jazz, EDM, R&B, Folk and Rap in his music. The man is musically curious and always trying new things out. Perhaps you would be interested in his more Opera-like performances like Ulisse, Passione, El Amor En Ti, Ti Amos Cosi, Olympico/Arnau, and the Pearl Fisher's Duet. Often his fans known as Dears we'll talk about his dancing or singing hands. He self-directs/visualizes notes and you'll see that in his hand movements often. Other professional reactors, including other opera singers, have said that this is quite common. It's often so fun to watch newbies react to him because they think they've heard the extremes of his ranges already but this song does not showcase either his lowest nor his highest notes not counting his whistle tones

The rock opera is called Starmania, and includes SOS about an “earthling" in distress. Every night I listen to different reactors listen to this song and others. I've heard it thousands of times and it's never got old. It brings me to tears I'm so glad we are alive to witness and hear him. So glad you found him and I love your reaction. It meant so much to me as you being a professional singer also.
Dimash sweats very easily in his face, so don't always take it as a sign of exhaustion. His concerts are 3 hours long and as you get to know him, you'll realise that most of his repertoire is demanding. He does act for the audience - the 'tension is in fact very relaxed. He'll bend over and belt out a note, then stand up straight, fold his arms and just keep going. He's a showman - if it was tense and exhausting he would get through 30 songs. He's going to do a lot of things that will be strange for an opera singer. He's got years of classical training, so don't worry 😅
I liked your reaction a lot. Thank you so much!! You did make me smile when you said that using an airy breathy voice was wrong technique, as you were taught. The thing about Dimash is that he breaks all the rules of classical singing (and classical teaching). He has years of background in classical singing and at one point was offered a place at the Astana Opera House in Kazakhstan, but he declined as it would have tied him into a single type of singing without the ability to sing the type of songs he wanted to sing or to improvise the way he chose. He knew he wanted to do so much more than one genre. So he trained in traditional music, pop, jazz, composition and learned to play various musical instruments. His interest in music is all consuming and extremely wide ranging. He sings songs from different cultures all over the world and he composes his own songs too. Doing what he does the way he does it gives him ultimate flexibility. It feeds his soul. Dimash mixes many vocal techniques, styles and genres together in one song if that's what he feels it needs. He also sings directly from the heart. He cannot and will not copy anyone or be boxed in. He has to let it flow from his internal feelings, and to do that he uses every technique he knows, painting a picture with his voice and taking his listeners on a journey. Many times those journies are electrifying, sometimes they are fun and sometimes they are life changing. I think you will really enjoy his beautiful work. It is eye-opening in so many ways. He conducts himself with his hands. He swaps the microphone from hand to hand. His body movements tell the story. The song is all consuming. A very warm welcome to you into the world of Dimash. It's a really good choice. I would highly recommend you follow it up with the New Wave Sochi version of Ave Maria (vocalise). This is another Igor Krutoy composition and is not the standard Ave Maria. It is spell binding.
I've only been trained classically. I have acquaintances and friends that are able to perform screamo, metal, musical theatre, and jazz to name a few and am always mesmerized to hear the different techniques involved and work that goes into developing such a craft! It's a primary reason as to why I love beatboxing so much. It's nothing new to break rules of music (Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Schoenberg, Rachmaninoff, etc., all broke classical music rules in some form). What I love about Dimash isn't so much about him breaking the rules, so much as him paving a new frontier as to how to expertly concatenate varying styles of singing through a deep knowledge of each individual form. I fully believe that you can't truly explore something to new uncharted territory until you've attainted a certain level of proficiency in that field. To create this unique style Dimash has demonstrated, he would have needed to have attained this proficiency in each style he wishes to blend together and fortunately for him and his audience, he has beautifully. I love when you can hear the dedication and polished work ethic in an artist, not through interviews, but through their music. The music truly speaks for itself and I'm rapt and enthralled by his showmanship and musical prowess. =)

Welcome to Dimash. I found Dimash in 2017 and I never ever miss a day of listening to Dimash. His talent has no limits. He pretty much does any genre he wants and often just combines a few in a song.. .why not, he can and he makes it all work perfectly. He treats his fans with the upmost care and respect showing us a lot of love and appreciation. He is a deep thinker and you will find many of his songs, especially those in his native Kazakh have a true story behind them of history of his country and countrymen and women. He is a fascinating artist who has the ability to captivate and mesmerize you from the first note of music. From opera, to rap, to rock, to everything in between. Last year he composed a song called Omir, which in his native language is Life. He released it on his birthday in appreciation to his fans. Dimash loves to use his breathy voice....as a tool to set the scene or show emotion. He recently sang with Placido Domingo, and the video is on UA-cam. It is great!
I'm not going to say a lot, just that you can't possibly judge Dimash with one song and you did have a fair number of inaccuracies regarding his vocals but as it's your first go you're forgiven. Let's just say that's neither the highest or the lowest he's capable of. Every thing he does is a stylistic choice and it's probably going to take you a while to understand that and it will take you quite a few more songs. I'd definitely recommend Olimpico and you might find it fun watching him perform The Pearl Fishers Duet with Placido Domingo when they were both judges on the classical music competition The Virtuosos.
@@goodeveningstories I'm sorry I misunderstood, just that you commented that the highest note was obviously his limit and it's most definitely not. He's gone as high as a D8 in a live performance although his favourite note is the F6.
One thing about Dimash that I've noticed is that he "sings with his hands". He uses a lot of hand movements while he sings, and I don't think it's performative for the audience but rather how he finds the notes and sounds he wants.

Dimash does a D8 Whistle note when he performed in his 1st or 2nd concert. It was incredible. He does not do whistle notes often, to protect his voice. He lives and breaths music. He did have opera training along with a lot of other. Someone here, I am sure can give you the performance he sang his D8 note.

I don’t see below telling you what he did here. I was home in bed january 16, 2021 during Covid in the middle of five surgeries finding Dimash and paying only $10 what he charged for his digital concert show. Barbara Streisand charging $2000 a seat for hers. Dimash hired over 400 people and out this over 2 hour concert on live stream everywhere. Dimashs goal in his singing career has been more about his art than becoming rich. He’s very humble and shy when not on stage … on stage live he is a beast…yes, even after 3 shows you will recognize his prowess as the best vocalist in centuries as other professionals like yourself recognize. I recognized how good he was on the singer show in 2017 singing sos. I didn’t have to see anything else. Others in the professional world won’t use the term best as they say there are many good vocalist. Dimash has perfect pitch started in performance arts on stage at age 2 yrs. On stage professionally at age 5yrs old winning his first piano contest at that age and his grandmother who raised as is custom for the eldest child in khazakastan entered him in the music academy at the university. Dimash has always spent 3 hours a day practicing vocals with or without a vocal coach. Classically his coach did not allow him to sing falsetto. The Astana opera house had a seat for him when he graduated and in that part of the world artist are practically owned by the system. But dimash got out and went to China. I believe he’s finishing his doctorate. If you’ll notice this music video had flavors of Broadway production to it that was one of dimashs major classes in his masters. Opera singer did you recognize the genre here? … Popopera? Dimash does many and has invented many and labels his style as neoclassical. He just does too many to label. Professional to honor Dimash you must wikipedia Dimash for his about 2 hour reading of his bio for the closest to correct of his accolades. You’ll find the 6 octaves man title given him not correct as we dears and vocal coaches have seen his live video performances back to age 15 yrs and he’s 30 yrs old now. He’s close to 8 octaves now. Dimash didn’t sing his highest or lowest notes here, lol. I’ve watched Dimash since 2017, have travelled overseas to three concerts so far and am going to Budapest and Istanbul for both his May concerts. I’m 79 year old U.K. lady (Christine). Dimash sings many genres and unlike opera singers singing pop,songs, but still sounding like an opera singer, Dimash has a pop voice and a folk voice, a rock voice, a tenor opera voicemail a soprano voice etc etc. you never know what he will come up with, a duet with Placedo Domingo, a blues song as a vampire, jazz version of a Kazakh folk song, a rock. version of another Kazakh folk song, the list goes on. He blends in with any duets he performs, never taking away from the other singer. He is just special and precious, humble and respectful.
I think I love Dimash as much as you do! Me too, I attented three of his concerts and will be in Budapest and Istanbul in May. Can't wait!

He sings a whole Concert. His voice never fails or gets tired. It’s perfection from beginning to end. He pushes his voice in ways that’s not human. He is a priceless man that is a once in a lifetime.
As said, he is very well trained. He knows what he can do and certainly would not ever do anything to damage his voice. Everything he does has a reason, he is a perfectionist & would not perform unless he is comfortable with it.
If you see about 50 more performances you will understand better
who and what he is and how he does it. He is an unique person, humble, kind, generous, loving, antii-war, an ambassador for peace, a philanthropist, a human with very high moral standards, patriotic and very proud of his country and culture.

I don't think he has any tension in his body, I think he often directs himself when he sings. The way he moves his fingers in Love is Like a Dream when he sings some "trills" not sure that is the right word, his fingers do the same thing.

Dimash is his own genre but includes elements of Opera, Rock, Metal, Pop, Jazz, EDM, R&B, Folk and Rap in his music. The man is musically curious and always trying new things out.
Perhaps you would be interested in his more Opera-like performances like Ulisse, Passione, El Amor En Ti, Ti Amos Cosi, Olympico/Arnau, and the Pearl Fisher's Duet.
My weakness is usually his Folk songs like Samaltau etc.

Same. My thoughts when I first heard him five or six years ago. Still it's the same. Every night I listen to different reactors listen to this song and others. I've heard it thousands of times and it's never got old. It brings me to tears I'm so glad we are alive to witness and hear him. So glad you found him and I love your reaction. It meant so much to me as you being a professional singer also.
Dimash sweats very easily in his face, so don't always take it as a sign of exhaustion. His concerts are 3 hours long and as you get to know him, you'll realise that most of his repertoire is demanding. He does act for the audience - the 'tension is in fact very relaxed. He'll bend over and belt out a note, then stand up straight, fold his arms and just keep going. He's a showman - if it was tense and exhausting he would get through 30 songs. He's going to do a lot of things that will be strange for an opera singer. He's got years of classical training, so don't worry 😅

The thing about Dimash is that he breaks all the rules of classical singing (and classical teaching). He has years of background in classical singing and at one point was offered a place at the Astana Opera House in Kazakhstan, but he declined as it would have tied him into a single type of singing without the ability to sing the type of songs he wanted to sing or to improvise the way he chose. He knew he wanted to do so much more than one genre. So he trained in traditional music, pop, jazz, composition and learned to play various musical instruments. His interest in music is all consuming and extremely wide ranging. He sings songs from different cultures all over the world and he composes his own songs too. Doing what he does the way he does it gives him ultimate flexibility. It feeds his soul.
Dimash mixes many vocal techniques, styles and genres together in one song if that's what he feels it needs. He also sings directly from the heart. He cannot and will not copy anyone or be boxed in. He has to let it flow from his internal feelings, and to do that he uses every technique he knows, painting a picture with his voice and taking his listeners on a journey. Many times those journies are electrifying, sometimes they are fun and sometimes they are life changing. I think you will really enjoy his beautiful work. It is eye-opening in so many ways. He conducts himself with his hands. He swaps the microphone from hand to hand. His body movements tell the story. The song is all consuming.

PS many people have recommended you watch Olympico, written by Igor Krutoy and sung by Dimash live in concert (the one on Igor Krutoy's channel is the one to react to). It's a really good choice. I would highly recommend you follow it up with the New Wave Sochi version of Ave Maria (vocalise). This is another Igor Krutoy composition and is not the standard Ave Maria. It is spell binding.
I've only been trained classically. I have acquaintances and friends that are able to perform screamo, metal, musical theatre, and jazz to name a few and am always mesmerized to hear the different techniques involved and work that goes into developing such a craft! It's a primary reason as to why I love beatboxing so much. It's nothing new to break rules of music (Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Schoenberg, Rachmaninoff, etc., all broke classical music rules in some form). What I love about Dimash isn't so much about him breaking the rules, so much as him paving a new frontier as to how to expertly concatenate varying styles of singing through a deep knowledge of each individual form. I fully believe that you can't truly explore something to new uncharted territory until you've attainted a certain level of proficiency in that field. To create this unique style Dimash has demonstrated, he would have needed to have attained this proficiency in each style he wishes to blend together and fortunately for him and his audience, he has beautifully. I love when you can hear the dedication and polished work ethic in an artist, not through interviews, but through their music. The music truly speaks for itself and I'm rapt and enthralled by his showmanship and musical prowess. =)

Welcome to Dimash. I found Dimash in 2017 and I never ever miss a day of listening to Dimash. His talent has no limits. He pretty much does any genre he wants and often just combines a few in a song.. .why not, he can and he makes it all work perfectly. He treats his fans with the upmost care and respect showing us a lot of love and appreciation. He is a deep thinker and you will find many of his songs, especially those in his native Kazakh have a true story behind them of history of his country and countrymen and women. He is a fascinating artist who has the ability to captivate and mesmerize you from the first note of music. From opera, to rap, to rock, to everything in between. Last year he composed a song called Omir, which in his native language is Life. He released it on his birthday in appreciation to his fans. There are two versions but the first one is an MV showing his journey. The second it is in studio with him on the piano singing while his younger very talented brother Mansur plays the acoustic guitar. Check it out.

Dimash loves to use his breathy voice....as a tool to set the scene or show emotion. He recently sang with Placido Domingo, and the video is on UA-cam. It is great!
I'm not going to say a lot, just that you can't possibly judge Dimash with one song and you did have a fair number of inaccuracies regarding his vocals but as it's your first go you're forgiven.
Let's just say that's neither the highest or the lowest he's capable of.
Every thing he does is a stylistic choice and it's probably going to take you a while to understand that and it will take you quite a few more songs.
I'd definitely recommend Olimpico and you might find it fun watching him perform The Pearl Fishers Duet with Placido Domingo when they were both judges on the classical music competition The Virtuosos.
I wouldn't judge him or anyone based off of once instance of exposure. I'm sure there's still a lot I am missing from him as a complete artist.
@@goodeveningstories I'm sorry I misunderstood, just that you commented that the highest note was obviously his limit and it's most definitely not. He's gone as high as a D8 in a live performance although his favourite note is the F6.
One thing about Dimash that I've noticed is that he "sings with his hands". He uses a lot of hand movements while he sings, and I don't think it's performative for the audience but rather how he finds the notes and sounds he wants.

Dimash does a D8 Whistle note when he performed in his 1st or 2nd concert. It was incredible. He does not do whistle notes often, to protect his voice. He lives and breaths music. He did have opera training along with a lot of other. Someone here, I am sure can give you the performance he sang his D8 note.
