It was a blast. I drove 4 hours in dropped my 9000lb 30ft goosneck in the lot made 433hp 1028tq added another ton on the trailer and drove home. 🙂 These old trucks can run like a new one with the right mods and it doesen't take very many.
@@cumminsnchevy I also changed my timing advance curve setup and reworked my throttle linkage to get full travel. I also fixed my fuel pressure issue as I had none when I dynoed at thuroghbred. I would say they might have been 50hp worth of the difference. I also tried an old set of ddp4 s I had laying around that probably made the same power as these power jets but the jets drove cleaner.

Amazing content. Glad to have watched theses trucks. All good hp with great torque that rival modern day diesels... Without that def. All seem as if they can pull stumps and whatever they load up on the trailers as well. Built what they were made to do 🎉 😊

I dont how i missed this video but i did i have a fist gen 12 valve engine just sitting in my garage brand new head bowl blended brand new crank 15 thou under decked with h series rod and main bearings 60# valve springs and new Valve of course i don't know if im gonna sell it or swap out the 454 in my dully

@@Sandberg29well the point is that these pumps are known for not making alot of power, unlike a p pump.
The truck with 398 hp and 1600 dt lbs with the 6.7 bottoms end and 12 valve top that is a killer combo for towing man

@@bcbloc02 so 50hp more than the 7x11s you had? Did you alter the timing with a spacer? Thanks for sharing your information
@@cumminsnchevy I already had a timing spacer deal but I took the washer out from under the spring and stretched it instead.
