"My guest today has won four SAG awards--that's amazing!" I love that she is simultaneously completely unaware of someone's accomplishments AND impressed by them. Especially when she gets to the phrase "longest running comedy show." Tig is incredibly self aware.

The weird thing is I'll know a name from reading a movie review, but since I don't end up watching the movie, I don't know the face. My wife is the opposite. She can watch five movies in a row with the same actor, love the performances, and that actor will still only be, "That guy/girl from that movie with the..."

How do the producers figure out who she knows and who she doesn’t? They can’t just ask “have you seen modern family?’ No... ok we’ll have her on the show (then she knows the show name). Or “do you know Julie Bowen?” No.... well let’s have her on the show (now you know her name)
monica bullock Well, they probably throw a bunch of names at her and mark the ones she can’t recognize. She probably wouldn’t remember any of them after some time and they can go on to make calls and arrange a schedule around the list. Doesn’t seem difficult to do.
