I appreciate your realistic approach as I work on developing discipline. I’ve tried various strategies from different influencers, but I often find myself expending too much energy. By the time I need to be productive, I’m already drained and struggle to focus. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you, Carey Nieuwhof, for this "timely" and practical video! Your insights on energy management remind me of Daniel Pink’s book WHEN, where he highlights the importance of discovering our personal “green zone”-those peak energy periods when we’re most focused, creative, and effective. Pink’s research shows that understanding our daily chronotype helps us align our most demanding work with the times when our brains are naturally wired for peak performance. Your breakdown of managing energy instead of just time aligns perfectly with this idea! This video is a great reminder to optimize the green zone and be intentional about how we structure our days. Thanks again for the wisdom!
This is so fascinating and I loved the video! I’m definitely going to try tracking my energy levels the next couple of days. I’m a 25 year old female and I am a culprit of the overly long morning routines! But I know I’m a morning person and I can’t wait to think about my mornings this way instead. Thanks!
Carey what would you say for people like myself whose Green Zones are going to be in collaborative settings? I feel like the approach to topics like this are often from an assumption of working solo, which is almost always a red zone scenario for me.
Do you have any tools or tips for effective ways of tracking energy levels throughout the day? I'd love to implement this "green zone" method into my own life.

Not to be 'self-promotey' but honestly my best tips, research, and practices are in my book, At Your Best: amzn.to/3WfhM5s
I've read the book and was awsome. My green zone is in the mornings, 8 - 12 a.m
Love that!
