Hey I ordered the Billy bookcase with the glass doors. I am waiting to receive it. I have over 300 pairs of shoes mostly heels and flats. I just watched this video for the first time and now I am a little Nervous because looks your shoes are on the edge and my shoes are a size nine so I don’t know if they would hang off and if my doors would close. What size are the shoes you put on the shelves?
I know this is old but just in case anyone is wondering you can look up the depth of the shelves. I believe it's 11" but it's visible on the page for whichever shelf you want. They used to make a deeper one but as far as i know it's discontinued

What about the little metal piece goes in the hole to hold the extra shelf does it come with the extra shelf or there are enough extra in the original bookcase package thanks

Any concern with dust issue? I find that with central AC, dust will be flying around. Would it be better to add a curtain in front of the shelves to block dust.
There are only two height options for billy white tall shelves. Just measure your room height and go from there. You’ll also need wall widths to determine how many units you need to fill the wall
Will a 8 US men' size fit? My question might be awkward, but i'm from France (sizes are different), so i don't really get the women/men size difference... But i knw for sure that my sneakers are a 8US men size
