    I was taking too much of a complicated approach to solve the same situation. Nice job. Reminds me of an old acronym: K.I.S.S. [Keep It Simple Stupid]

    Ok now come build me one. LOL It looked to easy but I know it took you awhile. The measuring and marking is the majority of your time. Thanks for sharing. I think I am going to attempt this.

    For those unfamiliar with the term "Gyprock" that he was saying - Gyprock is a brand of Gypsum based "sheetrock" or "Drywall" products that are common in Australia. Aren't regional slang terms fun to decipher?

      Thank you for deciphering and explaining the term for the other viewers.
      Much appreciated!

    Well it works, but it looks really ghetto. Round the corners off, stain it, urethane it and it'll look great.

    Could you cut the notches at an angle so the shelf is not flat? Or would that not be strong enough to support the shelf this way?

      @backtobackcustoms  Рік тому

      Hi Reuben, you could definitely cut them at an angle. It would still be strong enough to support the weight of the shoes

    Is Anchors are mandatory to mount it to the wall? Or can we mount it using regular wood screws and drill them into the wall studs?

    • @backtobackcustoms
      @backtobackcustoms  6 місяців тому

      You can definitely mount it directly to the studs 👍🏼
