How to Make a DIY Boat Cover with Waterproof Seam By Connecting 2 Tarps

  • I had to make a waterproof diy boat cover that was approximately 30 feet long, but only had two 16' long polyethylene tarps joining together.
    In this video, I show how to roll the joint together to connect the tarps with a wainroof seam to keep rain and snow out of your belongings, or as a tent cover. This also is great when you're needing to be connecting 2 tarps for an RV cover, or to protect hay, or some other large item from the weather.

      Do you have an idea of how to temporarily lock-in the roll/seam without using tape? I’m thinking of camping where you’d want the option to join/separate the tarps per the situation at hand.

      Maybe solid clips at each end? Not sure.
