It was a shame when he left las Encinas hospital in Pasadena a week before his passing ,, I would talk to him at the Thursday night meeting
He was a great guy. I was fortunate enough to meet him after a solo show of his. He hung out with myself and my friend. Just a great, down to Earth guy. He's missed.
Was he sober a week before his passing? I know he was sober when he did his last interview 3 weeks before on That Metal Show.
Yes he was when he left Pasadena las Encinas recovery he relapsed at that hotel 😞

I read that none of the warrant band member showed for Jani Lane funeral including his Ex’s wife. Just sad 😢
They were in the middle of a tour that they could not re-schedule dates for. They did honor him during the playing of "heaven" that night.

I find it sad that Jani's family lost all control of his music when his former manager stole it under the claim that "He told me he wanted to have it".
Same guy was there the night of his death, by the way. 🤫
it is tragic that his library of unreleased music (which is massive), is tied up in the courts. i know his family is fighting for it, but the cost of fighting for it is very expensive and time consuming. i hope for his kid's, they get the rights to it. people should hear the songs, as the man was so talented.

I read on a thread somewhere, I wish I could find it again, 3 women,one claimed to be a ex girlfriend and two others were friends of his and his wife at the time of jani's death, the comments went back and forth between all 3 women, according to what they were claiming, he and his wife had been arguing over his drinking again after having a sober stint , and his wife was threatening to call the police, several times that night, he'd calm down and then it would start up again several times, and she allegedly, finally said she wanted a divorce, and told him once again to leave, get out!! , one woman told the other one in the comments, she was just trying to help him, and the other one responded by saying if she really wanted to help Jani she would have called the police instead of just threatening to call, so the police could've arrested him and taken him to the jail or hospital to get help or sleep it off , and that he was already so intoxicated just prior to leaving that it wouldn't have taken much more alcohol in his system to become letha , I have no doubt that if this is true his then wife is no doubt full of regrets, about that night and full of the , could've ,should've, would'ves , I know I truly cried, when I Heard the news, I'd only gotten the chance to see warrant, once many years ago, probably 10 year's prior to his very sad and unfortunate death , Jani lane lives on through his music, and the many fan's that keep buying and blasting it , my 9 year old grandson loves warrant, his favorite song is cherry 🍒 pie , he's clueless to the meaning behind the lyrics 😂 , my grandson loves just about all my CDs, from , warrant to poison, bonjovi, journey Steve Perry era, the outfield, even George Strait, so if my grandson continues to play them even after I'm gone, Jani lane's music Will play on 💔😭🍒💌💕🎸🥁🤘
