Own one myself. Great rifle for the money. Have put 2K with zero malfunctions. Shoots flat and is light. Hand guard gets pretty toasty! But that’s the price you pay for freedom. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Only thing I’ve had is one time the bolt didn’t lock back after firing the last round from my magazine.
And I don’t know what’s wrong with my scope but I had to do 23 clicks moa to the left and my irons are off too.
Is my barrel squared to my receiver?
I own this AR. I’ve had it for about 7 months. I really like it. Light weight & the trigger is pretty good. I have a vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 mounted on it.
I’m not a huge gun nut (yet) but can I swap out the trigger parts or something to make it lighter ??

I snapped up a beautiful Saint Victor pistol back in May. Probably one of the best firearm purchases I've made and my first AR15 ever. I tried a nice Holosun green dot as well as a nice Leupold VX Freedom scope but for whatever reason I could not zero the gun in to my liking. Ended up finding that a set of Army surplus flip up iron ghost ring sights did the trick in getting it zeroed satisfactorily to me. I've run north of 1000 rounds of both 5.56 and .223 through it experiencing ZERO malfunctions. This gun just goes and goes...... GREAT GUN & SO HAPPY I FOUND IT WHEN I DID!!!!

Nice review. When I saw you had gotten one, I knew you were going to enjoy it. I picked one up the end of April. I don’t know squat about ARs, but the Saint has received a lot of praise. I put a Sig Bravo 3x on mine and wish I could find a 2x. I need a little magnification, but don’t want enough for old guy sway to make it hard to hold on target. The Saint runs very well! Stay safe! I have this same firearm. Saint Victor with b5 furniture and it came with a vortec viper and a nice bag to carry it in. One magpul standard capacity mag. But these mags are fairly inexpensive, so getting more is relatively painless. I'm really enjoying it, so much fun to shoot.
Nice Job Justin! Young Beretta and I Built (7) AR15 “556” Rifles and (2) AR10 “308” Rifles and I have the one “300 Blackout” AR Pistol that we built. I need to get that 300 Blackout AR Pistol back to the Range for a follow up Review. We accidentally messed that one up and it did not run for us in the review. We made a couple changes and it is ready to be tested again. Anyway, we have not purchased a “Standard Factory” Rifle since we built the 10 Rifles together. Rifles are not my specialty, and I think it shows in the videos - but I also think there is value to someone who might not be pretending he's a sweaty, bearded, operator wearing "kit", talking to real folks about the guns. I find myself gravitating to the guns that provide good value to the consumer, that nice blend of reliability and performance with budget minded pricing and good features. So much competition in the marketplace is a great thing! Hope you guys are well - keep the great stuff coming!

I just got my saint Ar10 .308/7.62x51 week ago $700 basically brand new only was shot about 3-4 times. Sweet gun I love it

Currently, I'm on the fence with waiting to find a Saint Edge or just got for the Victor B5...I'm not a collector so I am okay with putting down a little more dollar to get something ill be happy with for a long time.
Look online I just saw some come back in stock. Get the edge and change the handguard out. Good to go 😎

If anyone is wondering, the Muzzle thread is 1/2 x 28 which is standard. I was confused when you said it's proprietary so I looked it up.

I had a Saint Victor in my hands a week back and thought my wife would kill me if I brought another gun home this month. Then I remembered they have a 30 day layaway. Went back a couple days later... GONE! Damn it!

Love my Saint Victor very accurate , great trigger my only complaint is it's very loud if your not wearing hearing protection your ears will throb with pain.

My ONLY complaint about the rifle itself after ditching those flip up sights are the screws that hold the handguard in keep backing out and I've lost one already because of it. This may be my only complaint a about the rifle, but springfield sucks at responding to emails.

Yeah, I enjoy all what you said too. I have the now re-converted California version because I put the MagSafe, and QuikPin setup on it so I could put the pistol grip on it. Much-much better now! Added a reticle sight, forward low hand grip, and a light. Keeping the fixed butt stock for now. I’m good to go now! Thanks for your reviews.🇺🇸
CA Sucks, but that fixed magazine garbage is more of a joke than the featureless configuration that Springfield sells their compliant rifles in..
I love this rifle. I own it and run it bone stock, besides a red dot. It is so much better than the M4 I was issued (which had an A1 lower. full auto was nice, but shooting as a civilian now means I pay for the brass), and much lighter.
I chose it because I wanted a well specked rifle, at a good price, that I wouldn't have to mod.
I bought one a couple weeks ago almost, I have a dream about getting the phone call that it's in almost every night haha

Did the same last spring. I got the .308 then ordered Saint Edge 5.56 before the price really got out of hand. Spent 1300 and 1400 respectively. Above market but it was looking like you might not be able to buy one this time last year.
Edit: I'll be keeping them both.

2022 update I just bought the Victor B5 for $1049 and it came with 2 magpul Gen3, a factory mounted Hex dragonfly red dot along with the magpul flipup sights and a branded Springfield Saint soft carrying bag.

The stock flip irons suck…..will not lay flat, both front and back still angle up few degrees when folded down. This appears to occur on most Saint out of box, Springfield playing mute when you contact them about it.

@@Joker-ig8im Everything's marked up as of right now. I drove 2 hours away to buy the last maverick 88 pump shotgun at a store for 240, the price used to be around 180 before 2020. I saw the exact same one a week later at my local gun range priced at 400. And someone bought it in 3 days! The prices are gonna keep creeping up, get one for a decent price while you can!
They are not steel sights they are metal with steel parts. Seems like a aluminum but I am not sure they are not some cheap pot metal. They feel like they would brake if they took a hit.
I've been wondering about the Saint line. Seems to come loaded...
Besides optics or a red dot It has everything. I don't even use a fore grip because the rail is so nice to hold.
It's more than a budget AR, but consider the fact that you have to put $0 for accessories.
It's worth the purchase, just shot mine today for the first time. Hit a bunch of small water bottle at 100 yards with the iron site and using the hasty sling method. Can't recommend this AR enough!
You might want to consider a vertical grip... the free float hand guard still gets very hot after 150 rounds or so of shooting. I might even still consider wearing a glove
Really good out the box, comes loaded and about 1000 only. Don’t hesitate if you come across one around these times, won’t regret it
I bought the Saint a year ago, loved it so much, just bought the Victor. Can’t say enough about Springfield. All total, I’ve bought 4 different Springfield guns. Love them.

Just wait till everything settles down. People are trying to sell 400 dollar rifles right now for 1000 dollars and people are selling 223 ammo for a dollar a round. Definitely not the best time to be buying

It is stock, but it looks like Springfield changes from the one that came on mine (purchased last December).

This is the B5 version (as released this past Spring)... The BCM version is still available to purchase as well. A lot of folks on the SA forum seem to prefer BCM furniture.

It works so well though, but it is loud. I never used one, until this rifle, and it really helps with follow-up shots.
@@Flu_Tang_Clan I think a compensator like a Surefire Warcomp would give you that same benefit without the annoying blast.
I mean, it's fine. It's a rifle, it is already loud. Got my first double taps in first time out. Accurate weapon! Love it.

One ( HELL ) of a weapon, say what you want about Springfield, good or bad. Did they do some underhanded things, shore they would not be a gun company if they hadn't . And they got caught thank God.
So with that said, I for one have always enjoy the firearms that they produce. I will continue to buy their products. As long as they continue to produce quality firearms. This, no one can say is a problem with this company products. Their hand guns are of high quality as well. Their customer service I have found to be very helpful. The Saint Victor comes out of the box ready to go. With the furniture that come on this firearm, and at its price point, you really can't go wrong. But then again this is just an opinion of a older, betup, wornout, sort of guy people. God Bless America its people and her President. Remember guys Keep them tight.
I think the M&P15 is better value at this price range and couple hundred bucks cheaper than Saint Victor.

@@JustinOpinionChannel Because the firing pin strikes the bullet but doesn’t shoot. So now you’re left with a defective bullet. And if you’re using this as a defense weapon and you have to unjam your gun rather than shoot at the attackers, sounds like a waste of ammo to me. What’s the point in having a gun with no ammo? And what’s the point in having ammo with no gun? When a gun does not serve its purpose it’s useless.

What type of federal ? Honest Outlaw had lens problems. With the victor. Win. 855 worked , but he had maximum stoppages . Did you buy it ,paying Y O U R hard earned money , or were you gifted this piece ? Free ammo ? A real test : every ammo to shoot.
