The Vdara is our hotel of choice the last 3 years for my kid-free annual vacation with my hubby. I get a parlor suite and view of the Fountains. The new walkway has been a game changer!
The Vdara is AMAZING and it is me and my wife’s favorite place to stay. Between the location and kitchenette alone it is worth the money, but with it being smoke free that takes it over the top.
The Vdara Hotel & Spa is a great getaway from the typical casino resorts on the Strip. The parlor suite looks so cozy, and I love the Christmas decorations! Plus, the Gem Bar is a nice touch for a relaxing drink.
Aloha Jay! We stayed at the Vdara back in September for the first time. Watched your earlier review before hand, thank you. Having a fridge and a microwave is a game changer! They have damn good food via room service. Loved the easy access to the Aria & Cosmo too. It was a hella long walk to the Bellagio’s casino. Mahalo for the thorough review.
Thanks for another great review Jay :) It seems that the VDARA is doing well with the location... I remember walking around that area when the City Center was being built. Those were major changes to the strip. It just keeps on changing and that is fine... Have a great one
Stayed there a few months ago for the first time and loved it. I'd gladly trade a short walk to multiple casinos and restaurants for a fridge and microwave any day. Great video Jay!
Not sure how I missed this one. Oops. Vdara looks really nice. Beautiful. Love the fridge and microwave in the room. I think Vdara rooms were originally supposed to be sold but they weren't selling so turned into a full time hotel. That's why no casino. Heard about the sun laser into the pool area too. Best to go early morning or late afternoon to avoid the laser beam. 😂 Thanks for the review.
As long as I get good offers for Vdara, it'll be hard for me to choose anywhere else now for my Vegas stays. I always rent a car, so it's convenient to drive to Chinatown or Orleans or other restaurants. It's walkable to many places like Bellagio, Aria, Cosmo, and not a bad walk to Caesars, Paris, Planet Hollywood. The easy tram takes you to Park MGM, which I love for Eataly and smoke free cheaper gambling. It's also great having a full fridge, stove, microwave, and even washer/dryer!
If memory serves me correctly, City Center was intended to be a multi-million-dollar condominium complex partnered by Dubai World and MGM. Well, mid-construction, Dubai World bailed on this pricey residential project, and it stalled. Well, since MGM was stuck with the expense and the excessive debt load, they finished it up and made it a hotel complex in 2009. To offset the excessive debt load, MGM started charging 'resort fees' not long after CC opened. Look at the 'suites' with a full kitchen, multiple baths/bedrooms, and plenty of storage space. Looks more like a high-rise residential building complex than an LV Strip hotel, huh?
I really enjoyed my stay there. I would stay again. Would be nice for one more restaurant but it is close to other casinos. Sun at pool was okay when I was there. Lots of umbrellas. I like the peace and quiet in the lobby.
I love Vdara! The Market Cafe has pretty much everything The Patisserie in Aria has except gelato and lines! I love the Signature too, because it has the kitchenette and balconies! I park at Aria and take the Aria Express Tram to the back of Vdara, it saves cutting through the casino or down the walkway!
Used to stay at Vdara all the time for our small dogs, they have that little dog park near the valet area. Did they take out the washer and dryer from the suites? We used to like that feature. Great video.
I like the Vdara a lot, haven't stayed there in a few years. But I did book a City Corner Suite one bedroom for my trip in April. I agree that their rooms needs an upgrade. It's been over a decade since it opened and many of their rooms are way outdated.
Jay Jay that looked interesting and as fancy. Does the gym/health club charge for regular guest or just visitors? Norma looks great to hang out with. I wonder those get a lot of use.
If you can check out 'Four Seasons' and the 'Waldorf Astoria', that would be great. dont see many reviews on them. That gym looks kinda weak. Do all the rooms there not have floor-to-ceiling windows?
When you go to Vegas do you just hop hotels every night so you can film a bunch of stuff to release over time, or do you just go to vegas that often? lol

Thank you for providing the smoke-free info! For those of us with extreme allergies, it’s nice to have an additional option to the Park MGM!

Hi Jay Jay. Great video 👍. Lol 8:05 Thanks for editing my mouth full of pizza🤣😋
Thanks for including the gym in most of your recent reviews.
JJ I love the panoramic suite, it's similar to the corner suite. I love quiet rooms with kitchens 😌😊
Awesome review of the Vdarra! Love their suite!
Valid point on the gym space, since no casino. You're the bomb! Thanks, Jay!

Vdara is nice. We stayed at Bellagio Fountain/Strip View Room for 4 days. It was awesome 👍
I love Vdara! The Market Cafe has pretty much everything The Patisserie in Aria has except gelato and lines!

I’d like to see you go back so we can see the pool and proper eats open. Maybe even a spa tour
It's one of my favorite hotels for any occasion !!!

Awesome! Ill see you around Mania!

I love oysters on the half shell. I almost get an out of body experience eating them. Or at least an invigorating feeling.
Ew
Shout out to KenoKid!!😎
@@VegasOurWay 👀🤘
Was that Brantzen poker in the background?
Thanks I’ve never stayed at City Center. I got a discount for VDara so I’m going to try it out!
Hope u enjoy it!
How about doing a hotel review in Thailand?
Usb chargers in cabinet below tv
Nice review as usual. Lame about the one TV. You would think it would be easy enough to bolt a USB hub or something to the desk for an easy upgrade.
If you can check out 'Four Seasons' and the 'Waldorf Astoria', that would be great. dont see many reviews on them.
That gym looks kinda weak. Do all the rooms there not have floor-to-ceiling windows?
Are there any in room dining options???
PS Hi Regina Pat!
Are Vdara guests still able to use Arias gym?
Awesome job jay drop a like for ylu
Have you been to Winstar in Oklahoma and CHOCTAW
Time to review Venetian Reno suites….
Clildo 😭😭😭 I’m cackling
When you go to Vegas do you just hop hotels every night so you can film a bunch of stuff to release over time, or do you just go to vegas that often? lol
Seems quiet so it could work. The sun story was true.
Jay don't worry about what VitalVegas says.....he's always a Debbie Downer 😅😅
Dont know him.
MGM isn’t spending money on Holiday decoř. Sad face.
I’d like to see you go back so we can see the pool and proper eats open. Maybe even a spa tour
