The integral at 0:39 😭😭
Yes I noticed XD
if only it was that easy lol
Video buffering for 5 minutes at the start, but I think that's pretty accurate
4:02 I think I had that lab last semester. We'd stand next to the equipment and he'd talk about the theory for 2 hours
**When you finally decide to become a nerd and sit in the front line in lectures **
Corona virus: I am gonna end your whole career
Top tier collab guys! A perfect representation of how universities will be conducted. As a EE & PHYS major, this will certainly be interesting as to how lectures will go. For the most part, my professors are holding live video conferences so it shouldn't be too bad, right?
Be safe everyone during these times and use common sense when/if interacting with others. Keep up the great work Andrew, Papa, Zach, and John.
0:39 that Integration is absolutely correct!!!!
This is too real for me, I got this confused with my actual lecture
1:40
Me: Truly, a man of culture we have here
indeed
1:40 "I see you're a man of culture as well!"
Haha these actually happened in my first few online lectures. CS professor forgot to share his screen and he doesn't read chat until the end of class so we just all laughed in chat wondering what was going on... his reaction when he finally realized was absolutely priceless
University: Due to the coronavirus outbreak, campus is closed.
Students: Yes! Now I can catch up on sleep!
University: Instead, we have online courses, so you have no excuse of missing them.
Student: Wait, no...
University: And you have to type up your homework on the computer.
Student, taking high level physics courses: How...?
Try latex if necessary (overleaf works well)
LaTeX my boi
Latex is pain
you're gonna need that equation tool on ms word
S O It’s better than word
My teacher is using twitch and discord ;)
Koichi
Absolute madlad, probably for the best!
This is just as real at the end of November as it was back in March.
“So let’s be sure to sign up for that and trust it implicitly” looool
@4:25 "Well, you'll get credit. And the University gets paid" pretty much sums up this semester.
literally took part in one of those online physics “labs” yesterday... it was painful
This hits me too hard because it's true.... stay safe my man, and awesome work as always!
1:44 LMAO why dafuq does he have 2 body pillows
cuz 1 body pillow just doesn't cut it
I'm rewatching this after a few weeks if classes, and... yeah this video is *VERY* accurate
"Its just like a regular experiment...minus the development of any marketable skills in the field" LOL
My first online class starts Tuesday and have to say I'm excited to see how much we screw ourselves up.
"The PowerPoint I made 15 YA and haven't changed since" : ) : ) There's no notes. The slides are there to remind me what the next 5 min of lecture is about. At least I wasn't just reading the slides. Exporting slides to accessible Word format and adding notes to finish the semester. Class starts back on 30 MAR. We're all havin fun.
At least you seem to be putting in the work for your students. Props for that!
@@_the_bomb Tryin. We'll see how it works out. My worry is some students are retaking after they failed the class online.
Thanks for making this video, it is really nice to look at it after the craziness of last semester. Even though I don't get all the math, since I am not a physics major, it is really funny. I also like watching them with my dad.
For my labs the professors just posted the results for every experiment and said "just write the lab reports".
I'm just here like, "thanks for nothing".
My Differentiable Manifolds professor sometimes points his camera at a chalkboard where nothing is legible. I was so excited about my first manifolds course too 😭
University of Washington is on a quarter system; I’m just planning not to take any classes during Spring Quarter and come back when the situation is under control, maybe in the fall or next year.
My professors right now “I know it’s the last week of the term but I promise, I’m working on getting that assignment you submitted the first week of the term graded.”
This is exaclty how i suspect my statics, linear algebra, and physic course courses are going to play out. Professors said exams will be online sooooooo.... im a straight A student now.
Epic collab!
A suggestion:could you upload a video that is based around richard Feynman atmost every one month? He is an inspiration for so many of us(physics majors) and a big reason as to why a lot of people join our field! This also resolves your video idea problem.
BROOOO I'm ROFL. This whole week has been like this!!! "Vroom account" HAHAHAH
1:40 fell asleep with body pillows and an open laptop. We all know what you were doing
:p
My department want to put final exams (still closed book) online, where 3 hours after the paper goes off we have to upload pictures of our solutions. We have to sign a sheet saying we promise we didn't cheat, and that's the only security... Unsurprisingly people are pissed off.
Had once an online lecture, where the professor-assistant muted the professor by accident and no one realized that, until we were 10 minutes into the lecture.
It's almost like this whole university system is antiquated!!!!
1:41 very realistic reaction
Dont even get me started with the online midterms/finals
4:02 I took a biology lab during covid. the lab instructor did all the lab work for us and the only thing we had to do was write a description about it. I want to thank covid for getting me an A in that class.
I’m in my junior year of high school with 6 APs, but university classes just seem like a greater struggle.
Your videos are so funny and relatable. I spent 4 hours today trying to understand a converging/diverging nozzle lab that I didn't get to attend. Fuck my life.
4:25, sad dark truth.
Dude.. that hit too close to home! My prof. just read out his lecture notes to us for straight 1.5 hrs. And, I fell asleep halfway through so, yay education!!
Oh my God I literally turned in my lab (involving an oscilloscope which I obviously didnt have at home) and let me tell you I was so confused the whole time
Good thing I don't have any lab course next semester and learn most stuff by myself with books/online anyway. Only the discussion of homework that we normally do in a group might be a problem. Even if we are allowed to email the docent the pages it won't be nearly as effective as talking about it in class.
I’m not a physics major, but I’m laughing and crying.
This was so awesome! The muted webcam was super hilarious, which means Z/2-graded hilarious.
lmao I actually laughed out loud at the muted mic
Laughed out loud during the board scene. Great video!
