Absolutely love this Partita. I cannot comprehend how someone can compose something like this and then someone else centuries later execute it flawlessly. The tone of the violin, the skill of Mr. Gidon Kremer...this is what the word sublime means. ❤
Extraordinary interpretation of Gidon Kremer, a great virtuoso of the violin, the BACH basic harmony and conterpoint in all "sonatas and partitas"for this oinstrument, speaks by it self , and that is why Andres Segovia made a adaptation for guitar , with an extraordinary vision.
Wunderschöne und detaillierte Aufführung dieses perfekt komponierten Meisterwerks in verschiedenen Tempi mit seidigem doch gut phrasiertem Ton der technisch fehlerlosen Solovioline und mit künstlerisch kontrollierter Dynamik. Die Resonanz ist auch perfekt. Wahrlich intelligenter und genialer Violinist!
Nobody plays the Double in 9x8, it’s weird. It’s always like a fast 4x4. (Kinda sad to me, cause I don’t think Bach would have written it with a specific measure if he didn’t mean it)

Well, just remembered it, it’s a dance. It IS, as it should be, a 9x8. People would - should - dance to it, but nobody seems to remember that.
