I personally love the themed/focused episode because I got to hear about so many different companies. This episode personally opened me up to having a new perspective on what a business could be and the various ways these companies make their money. It's just my opinion, nothing more, and thanks for the quality video. I really enjoyed it, so thanks! I mean it!
So much knowledge! Absolutely free! I was never taught anything about money, I am praying and working to change that. I am 46 no retirement no savings because I made a lot of mistakes when I started investing, trying to correct that now. Already have a few thousand$ saved up to invest for long term. I would like to know what advice you could give to start my investing journey. Listening to you gives me inspiration and wisdom. Thank you so much!
Imo and experience real estate is the answer to all those starting late. I started at 36 and I'm 47 now. It has changed my life. Mobile home rentals are the best investment in RE. They rent for the same as a new apartment which I also build. I have bought used ones for 8k on a credit card and done repairs myself on the beginning. If u grind for 10 years u will have your retirement.
GUYS you absolutely crushed it this episode. I got soooo many takeaways from it. I wouldn't mind seeing more episodes like this. Keep up the great work.
Absolutely love this format! One of the best ever. I personally get a lot more out of these focused episodes because it's more business ideas and thus gets the gears turning in my head more for ideation. Coming from a long-time MFM fan!
I really liked this episode. You guys are by far my favorite pod. Up lifting, motivational, funny and inspiring to say the least. You guys make my day. I am a 21 year old bench jeweler with aspirations of being something greater. I spend many hours on monotonous work which gives me the opportunity to listen to you guys. Thank you for words.
> When you read articles about financial freedom, you may hear people talk over and over again about how they spend next to nothing to be able to retire at a younger age like 30. Instead, they may have already achieved financial freedom and boast about how frugal they were in order to retire well before the typical retirement age.
Investments are a means of providing funds for the generation of future income or profit. Investing allows individuals to set aside money while they go about their day-to-day business, let the funds work for them, and earn income for their future work. It is important to invest wisely, make informed decisions, and carefully weigh the potential risks and rewards associated with each investment opportunity. That's why I work with Sherman Williams Trading because he has profitable strategies
On a scale of 1-10, I'll give Sherman Williams Trading a 9 simply because no one is perfect when it comes to trading, but when it comes to making a profit...Trust me when I say that may surprise you. . . When you least expect it It really amazes me how I went from an average life to earning $56,500 a week. all thanks to Sherman Williams Trading.. I don't know how he does it but he makes it possible, I believe in him.

@AlexanderWebber Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the stock market right now honestly, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for awhile now mostly and I made over $800K within a short time of working with my adviser Stacie Kristal Weber.

I regard myself as a big fan and have listened for years. This might be my favorite episode so far - very very inspiring. Personally love the variety of episode structures.
I loved this episode. Great rapid fire of a variety of businesses and great summary at the end of the different tactics to use to run a solo biz. Thanks guys!!
These focused episodes are great once in a while, but i think the random, never know what you are going to get style of the normal pod is what sets you guys apart from a lot of other business content. Embrace the tangents! Indulge the disorganization! Cheers from Canada.
Stardew Valley's creator didn't "teach himself to code": - he graduated from Computer Science, couldn't readily find a job, and decided to keep up and build his portfolio by making some projects... and (as stated) that project grew out of proportions to the tune of a full-on copy of Harvest Moon... BUT the key point was: he released it onto PC/Steam, a massive platform on which there were no equivalent. THE LESSON: In a way, he wasn't just a developer: he brought goods from 1 fully proven market to another, untapped, blue ocean market.
Tremendous ep Gents! I really enjoyed it, very eye opening. I would recommend doing both styles for the show - Single focus topic on Tuesdays and Freestyle on Thursdays...bing bang boom!
I never thought I’d see or hear anything about Stardew Valley on this show lol but it’s a nice surprise! It’s one of the most successful one-man indie games ever developed, and has had a lot of updates that refreshes the game for existing players and pulls in new ones.
Me too but I'm kind of disappointed on how he summed it up. Eric is a freaking talented man, but positioning him like he meant to be a millionaire from the game is misleading... Barone said it was a complete accident. It's not a business model one could follow, these games are closer to art than business
I like this episode. I met a serial entreprenuer on a conference who had multipe large exits. Now he makes only low "maintainance" business. His key metrics are revenue / profit / cashflow per employee. If you are the most efficient in your niche, if times get tough (and they will), you are the last going out of business. This gives you massive advantage / leverage over your competition while you can sleep well at night.
I really enjoyed this podcast. I found it extremely beneficial and well structured compared to other podcasts. I would definitely love to see more of these types of podcasts. It is nice to see how you provided multiple examples of people. As the podcast continues, it paints a vivid picture of the similarities between individuals in their respective industries. Thank you for another insightful podcast. I greatly appreciate it.
Guys, that was a super interesting episode. I'm a developer working on a few projects that have incredible potential. It's just me and 1 other guy. The information you guys shared in this episode is inspiring and encouraging. I feel like I'm definitely on the right track.
Gentlemen, Yes please keep doing this. The value of this was incredible. Triggered more ideas than any other podcast ever. Listened on apple podcast app first came here to answer Sam’s question. 😊 🙏
I enjoy the FOCUSED episodes, perhaps a few times a year go for the RANDOM/FREESTYLE episodes to lighten the load and not get burnt out. I'm trying to build my second solo company and this was insightful hearing how others have succeeded.
This was a super great episode... but I think your freestyling episodes are really great too. I really enjoy learning about these new solopreneur businesses... so perhaps in every episode you run, just throw in one new solopreneur business to inspire us :)
Great episode format. @Sam man I thought your “community business” was lame at first but I see it’s next level thinking for Pod Content, Investing, and leveling up your millionaire network. Well played my friend.
Most people will say that this is greet if it’s sprinkled in on a once a month cadence. I think when you guys find a topic that is either personal to you, or niche topics that you have inside info on… those are the winners. So, don’t cater to us. You do it for the people that love what you do right? Great episode
Big fan of the pod. 50/50 would be great. 50% curated, value pack, topic specific. And 50% freestyle as that's what I love about the pod. Those riffing and bantering are still pretty "gem" packed and part of your DNA 😊
I think a mixture if freestyle and focused would work as your audience is diverse. 1. Freestyle helps in exploring breadth. This helps in unraveling unknown unknowns. 2. Theme gets into depth, helps in your pod users to double down on an industry to start a biz. One feedback on theme: I think few episodes where you go down the rabbit-hole would be very interesting. Eg: E-com businesses in makeup, chrome plugins for teachers, etc One person business is a bit broad IMO. You can still segment further. P.S: Love the efforts that you put into this pod.
I knew you guys had to talk about Eric Barone at some point, the guy who became a millionaire creating Stardew Valley. I believe I may have even commented about him in the past or I planned to tell you guys to make a video about him (or atleast mention him). Dude's a legend in game dev (a field that I am also involved in). He did actually look for a job, it's just that no one would hire him because he lacked skills.
I loved the format of this episode. Since it takes longer to put together maybe this is something you could throw in one a month or every other month. That way you only have to put in the extra effort 6-12 times per year.
This was great, do more! You guys both killed it, @Shaan bring on some OF people doing breakdowns of how they spend, purchase RE, plan their lives, security etc, and the windows guy.
Love this style more than 3style, having the topics laid out helps guide the inspiration in a way that made it immediately applicable to things I’m working on
This was very eye-opening. Seeing so many different businesses started by one or a couple of people feels like it can be more attainable, obviously through lots of hard work along with trial error. But I love hearing of those businesses that are in a very specific niche making millions. Super interesting!
Nice ideas like this are rare and I appreciate this video I'll like to see more videos like this so I can be able to Invest my profit from my experience with Owen who's really profitable when you trading with him.
This is really a great video. For me, I make huge profits on my investment since I started trading with Owen Arthur Edgar his trading strategies are top notch.
I loved this. I would love to see more examples of people who are not doing a tech-based solo-run business. Or is that very rare? You mentioned Rogan but he had fans before he started his podcast so lots of the foundations for his success came from what he did before.
I just discovered your channel (or it discovered me, more likely). This episode was excellent. Really inspiring. I’d like to see more in this “deep dive” format and more about innovative solo or near solo entrepreneurs. Thanks guys!
This video was pushed to me by the YT algo. This one video gave me so many ideas of how to leverage my existing resources and how to improve a few ideas I have in the pipeline. I subscribed and hit the bell. I am super hyped right now. Thanks guys,
Spent the last 20 minutes blasting tiny desk Juvenile at max volume. For a few moments there I was picking girls up at the club not diapers at target. Now back to adulting. Thanks Sam!😂
Love this format, I know what I’m getting from the title and if it’s something that peaks my interest, I’ll drop whatever I’m doing to listen to it rather than listening to it eventually
When you're in the starting phase of a new effort (the grind) knowing you can take a break and get inspired by a few examples of other 1-person or small-team successes is a great outlet. This was a fantastic show. As far as staying motivated when you're in the 'small days' which came up at the end of the show, "It's lonely", true, but if you already have independent financial means (don't have to work, money still coming in from past efforts, substantial reserves) the biggest motivator is HAVING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE to do. The novelty of waking up every day with nothing productive to do wears off *_FAST_* Your personality is: ambition, work ethic, push through on tough days, cleverness, creativity - those traits don't fade just because you never need a resume again. Hey Guys, loved the episode, it’s awesome to get to know about the minds behind the solopreneur companies. Your pod is best place to get insight into the world of startup business and how the entrepreneurs hustle to make their business successful.
I have two comments on this episode: 1. Awesome episode, loved it given I have a similar solopreneurship dream. You should keep them rare 1x/month or so similar to the masterclass episodes 2. You just shattered my solopreneruship dream with the loneliness comment at the end.
My man, Eric Barone and stardew valley are a shinning example of a perfect storm. He is a very dedicated and talented developer and stardew is a labor of love, but he is the exception of the outliers, stardew for an indie game release is kind of what Harry Potter is for fantastic literature. No business model can reproduce what he did, there are millions of talented amazing game developers that will make perfect games that would do what eric did
Love using the structure - let’s you guys go a level deeper with some pointed detail. Fan and friend of the pod! PS no small boy stuff… keep bringing that fire!!
Loved this themed episode...weird coincidence that I read about these companies in a Medium blog post today from Martina D, named 11 Companies Making $1M+ That Are [Practically] Bedroom Businesses
I don’t know if i have a preference. This focused-style episode was great. All the others are great too. …the spontaneity factor might be a bit higher when you guys are just going back and forth about whatever topics come to mind in the moment, which is something that I enjoy watching. But if the decision was made to only do these types of podcasts, I’m still tuning in. Cause you guys are cool
I really liked this video. I found that your information was on point and the summation of how to bring this all together was great to finish the video! Some more videos on themes would be awesome!
Great show and Thumbs Up on the format! I like it when you work harder. Well, you're fun when you don't as well, but this puts more meat on your bones!
Great ep!! Keen these focused and themed eps. Would be interested in monetisation strategies ranging from basic to complex. Interested by how that could split scaling businesses
You should do a mix 1st and second day of the week, do freestyle episodes and 2nd and 4th themed. Themed episodes take work, the extra week allows for rest.
what you think, more THEME/FOCUSED episodes? Or more RANDOM/FREESTYLE episodes?
theme/focused +++; random/freestyle--
THEME/FOCUSED episodes
like the theme/focused ie tiny biz
Focused ones are great, I think you should do some here and there.
I personally love the themed/focused episode because I got to hear about so many different companies. This episode personally opened me up to having a new perspective on what a business could be and the various ways these companies make their money. It's just my opinion, nothing more, and thanks for the quality video. I really enjoyed it, so thanks! I mean it!
These episodes about unique and niche businesses are my favourite! Another great episode guys!
right on
totally agree, they are the best. If they made just episodes of this kind i would keep watching them forever!!
The best by far 👌🏽

that's a good idea
There we go. Was waiting for this to get posted on UA-cam. I like watching the podcasts on YT now compared to just plain old listening
Was literally going to post this
GUYS you absolutely crushed it this episode. I got soooo many takeaways from it. I wouldn't mind seeing more episodes like this. Keep up the great work.

totally agree! love when they go in depth on companies that are new or small or are different!
I don't even know what a bench jeweler is, but you're my favorite bench jeweler
This was very insightful.
It’s great when you explore one special topic and deep dive into it. We need such episodes more often
time to boot up the research machine for the next one
This format was awesome! I’d love to see more videos like this
Guys… of course we love these episodes. One person multi-million businesses for the win ❤
yea we knew we were handing out candy

Guys, what ever theme you use, it's awesome. I get a lot of inspiration out of your podcasts.

Love the genuineness in between the conversations.
Definitely do more of these 👍
This episode was awesome and full of insights
Loved this themed episode...weird coincidence that I read about these companies in a Medium blog post today from Martina D, named 11 Companies Making $1M+ That Are [Practically] Bedroom Businesses
Love love loved this episode!! Thanks for always bringing the 🔥 content 👌🏼
This is the most informative episode of MFM till date, I love the 'tiny desk awards' keep them coming.
Loved this.
Great episode, love the format.
I love the idea of "Mighty Businesses" probably my favorite topic.
I really liked this video. I found that your information was on point and the summation of how to bring this all together was great to finish the video! Some more videos on themes would be awesome!
Loved this episode. Such great info. So many insights. So much fun. And btw, $120 a year is $10 a month not $12
Sam was just checking who was paying attention.
You should do more! I want more of the quiet ones. Low digit millions per year. More of those!
Great show and Thumbs Up on the format! I like it when you work harder. Well, you're fun when you don't as well, but this puts more meat on your bones!
Don’t know what happened that I stumbled on this but this was informative and fun to listen to - subscribed!
Love this format which will be great on monthly or quarterly basis. Thanks guys!
Love the analogy at 35:45 of y"ou don't have to create the wave but you can paddle out and ride it.”
You guys are awesome. I love that you try different formats. This was great.
Great episode. Love the best of, awards and solo concepts. Each of them are compelling content.
Great episode! I loved the stories and insights. I also love your regular episodes and interviews. Thanks!
