God is Good! I would like to thank all the people who were praying for my family after our small community was rocked by a company closing their doors affecting the jobs of hundreds of people. God has provided work for my husband. We are feeling so thankful and blessed!
I'm in my 70's my children and grandchildren are grown, it goes by in a heartbeat. I would say this to you, give yourself grace. You are a wonderful mother and your children will one day tell you this. Our children are very forgiving of our failures, just like we are of theirs, love is a wonderful covering.
This is such a beautiful comment. I know this comment wasn’t for me- but I needed to hear it! It’s been a very tough day as a mom today. Thank you❤
@@Dana-mb1hd You say the comment wasnt for you, but friend, you needed it, as many of us do, so take it and be blessed.
@@rosemaryharris6064 🙏 thank you
I am 73. And yes my children are grown.
Beautiful family! Love your posts!❤
Watching the weather Channel I started thinking about you and your beautiful family, I pray a hedge of heavenly protection around you guys from yet again another tropical storm. God bless and keep you under his protection.
Lynette, you do SO much for your family, extended family, and us your on-line family. You're a treasure & inspiration. Be easy on yourself, and yes, smell the roses. Thanks for sharing your family with us❤❤
Sending Prayers For The Hurricane coming
Thank you for reminding us to take time to smell the roses. Sometimes we get so caught up in our day to day routine, we fail to see all the blessings along the way.
Prayers coming your way on the upcoming hurricane
Oaklyn is so darn cute when she is bursting with pride when helping.❤
Lynette, you appear such a kind, caring person
Lynette you such a kind caring and wonderful wife and mother, you are always showing your family how much you love them, God is good, all the time, bless you and your family, love your videos❤️🙏
You’re such a busy mama but you take the time to give thanks for what’s important…we are all so blessed! Let’s give ourselves grace…🙏🏻💞🙏🏻💞
Thank you for saying to count your blessings. I’m homebound and am having a rough time lately. I had a Dr. appointment by Zoom and am waiting for my nurse to come. I was supposed to be having PT but my insurance only gave me 4 visits. I’m going to try your attitude of gratitude as it could be so much worse. I’m able to be at home and I have the Lord. Always enjoy your videos.
You’re absolutely right Lynette, just taking time to be with your thoughts, read, have a coffee with friends or engage in a craft you enjoy - not always easy with young children. I hope your Grandma is recovering well and your Grandpa doing as good as possible given his health and mobility challenges. Best wishes from London, England.
Tell Nic and the boys they did great with video and golf! Those boys can really swing those clubs! You’re right about how fast kids grow up. My daughter and son in law and 3 grandkids live with me. We had moved into my mom’s house to help her in last year of life. I like the way you slow down, you do everything with a calm purpose. Watching you is like talking to an old friend, like it is just the two of us. I am in my 70’s now , and your calmness and kindness is so good to see with the way the world is today.
Praying this hurricane does not cause any damage! My son is in Ocala, so we pray for all of Florida!!
Thank you for sharing your day and your family activities. I adore the background music and I’m inspired to do some homemaker tasks I used to do. God bless! Hugs😊
this one made me tear up too, time is flying by and sometimes we dont take the time we should to just be in the moment .
My prayers are with you and your family with this hurricane coming. May God lay his protective hand on everyone in it's path.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. Prayers for your family and also prayers as the coming storm.
Lynette, you are an inspiration to me. You are a wonderful mother, homemaker, & wife. Those are the most important jobs in life. They don't pay & are mostly thankless. It's easy to sometimes feel taken for granted. I love your family, videos, recipes etc. Thank you! 😊❤.
Thank you so much!
I love how you shared that you've been pondering about showing more humility and grace toward your children. God's grace to us is so abundant so how or why wouldnt we extend it to others, especially to those that He has entrusted to our care.
I know I’ve said it before, but I just love your vlogs! This was a sweet reminder to not be too busy to take time to appreciate, be thankful, and it is so important! I’m praying for your precious family as Helene seems to be gaining strength! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Yes I completely agree to take the time to look for those little glimmers throughout the day! Since the beginning of this year, my word has been "gratitude " and I write down 3 things I'm greatful for everyday ❤and now since getting into that daily habit, I call them finding my glimmers throughout the day! One thing I do to slow things down is to take 10-15 mins yo go outside and soak up some vitamin d! I also listen to praise & worship music while I'm on my treadmill in the morning, and that helps to focus my mind even after reading my Bible and praying. I also do daily Godly affirmations also...🙏❤️🙌
I'm glad that you'll be taking some moments for yourself. You're a wonderful wife, mother and friend but without you, the rest would be lost. I'm watching the weather closely, and I really hope this next storm misses you completely. Take good care.
Very peaceful! ❤ The music in the middle was very nice. We all need to take breaks during the day to be grateful and catch our breath.
I really look forward to your video. Thank you for the update on your parents. I have been praying for them and your grandfather and grandmother. Bless you and your family and look forward to another video.
I remember struggling with stamina after long days with three young sons, at times losing patience. I could have used your encouragement back then! You are definitely helping others.
❤️Always look forward to your video of the week. Like visiting with a friend. Thanks for being a blessing to others. Love the recipes you share.
I'm praying this next storm doesn't bring the storm surge they are predicting. God be with you all! Grandmotherly hugs from me sweetie!
Lynette,
It’s okay to take care of yourself. When my children were little, my doctor suggested for me to take time out for myself, he said I would be a better wife, a better mother and a better person. So I took his advice and it worked. Thank you for sharing this great video. God bless you and your beautiful family.
Thank you for such an encouraging video! I loved your encouragement to stop and slow down and notice God and his goodness and grace all around. Needed this today in the midst of busy school life with kids! God bless you!
This was so sweet, Lynette! The thought that came to me while observing your slower paced day was that you did seem more refreshed and relaxed than sometimes…like you were able to just settle in and enjoy the moment. Which is an applicable reminder for this mama, too, so thank you!
😃👍🏽 my weekend break really did help give me a refresh and fresh perspective!
Wonderful, peaceful video as always. Sending love to you and your beautiful family. Your boys can really hit a golf ball. Impressive!
Your family is so lucky to have you Lynette an amazing mom to your children love the content thank you for always sharing your friend Kathy❤
Wow, the boys have beautiful swings!
Y'all be safe. Another bad storm is heading your way. Great video. Yes, God is so good. Thanks for sharing. 😊
You’re pies look so Yummy I believe you’re a terrific mother give yourself some grace we all need it sometimes
You are always an encouragement !❤
You are such an inspiration to watch and I marvel at your amazing drive with such a calm resolve. Thank you for sharing your journey and showing how hard work and motivation to be kind and in control with solid Christian beliefs makes it all work so well.
I'm Praying for you Grandma eye
There is not one without sin, No not one! Grace is given to us freely! We need to accept that Grace for ourselves! You are worthy, Lynette!
I am so sorry another Hurricane is coming!! Be safe and God Bless you and your family!!
I love just puttering around house.
It refreshes my soul to watch your program. Thank you for taking the time to post. ❤ God bless you and your family.
Your boys look so at home on the golf course!! Yes, time does fly especially when it comes to our children growing up. My hubby and I dealt with infertility for 11 years before we were able to have our son. He was a preemie, at 33 weeks, at 5lbs 5 oz -so tiny!! It seems like that was yesterday but that same sweet boy is now 15 years old and 6ft 3in...I literally look up to him. Knowing that we were only going to be able to have one child, soaking in all the moments -the mundane, the spectacular, the funny, the sad has been a huge focus to me as his mom.
Thanks for the video, I look forward each week to see them. God Bless Your Family.
Thank you for the prayers. My brother in law passed unexpectedly at 53. My heart hurts so much. Through it all I know God is good.
Great day sharing. Yes we us mums forget to rest/recharge. So now relaxing 😊😊
❤❤❤❤please Lynette stay safe you and your family from this upcoming hurricane 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! Another wonder, soothing and relaxing video that I needed.
You are the best!
I love your homemaking and cooking videos! I miss the days when my daughter was your girls ages. Time flies so fast. You are blessed. However, that doesn't mean you won't have rough days. Keep the spirit and i look forward to your next video!
Yes. Very true. I definitely have a lot of days that are hard and trying!
@LynetteYoder you are so kind and sweet, and I'll say prayers for you. ❤️
We are so thankful for you and your words of encouragement! 😅
Batten down the hatches, Lynnette. The weather is coming for us Floridians once again!
Praying for you and your community Lynette, as they say possibly another hurricane is coming through. I’m so sad to hear this and I pray that you will all be safe! Praying for your parents!
Thanks. Yes - we’re watching it 😏 not excited. Hopefully no major damage!
Living in North Central WV we make regular trips to Holmes county. We take coolers knowing we are going to stop at Walnut Creek and meat stores.
Hi Lynette I was crying I. The beginning of this video with what you were saying because my husband is suffering with Parkinson’s like your grandfather and I get so sad about it 😢so sometimes it’s hard to dig deep and not let it get me down. Enjoy your little ones because it goes so fast. I’m 68 soon to be 69 and I can’t believe it! We’re did the time go? Everything you make looks so yummy! When your head hits the pillow at night you must go right to sleep because you’re so busy. You have many things to be thankful for a wonderful husband healthy children a beautiful home and your health too! I look forward to your video’s today is the 23rd and it looks like you have a storm headed your way again I hope it’s going to miss you where you live 🙏🏻
Hoping Helene isn't a cat 4 and doesn't cause death.
Stay safe and prepare despite being below Tampa. It's massive.
You keep motivating the fall vibe.
Hugs from 🇨🇦
Love, love, love this video!!
Praying for you are the storm Helene approaches. ❤❤
Lynette, praying for you and your family as I hear another storm might be heading your way. Stay safe❤
Lynette, one does not realize that everyday can be a learning . It is fulfilling. And we just need that
extra time to ourselves to realize it. Wisdom kicks in. You give yourself a
Deserved Attagirl …M ♥️M of 5
All of your videos is encouragement and inspiring to me I love your videos i enjoy watching you cook ,clean and all that ❤❤❤❤
Holmes county Ohio , 😊 I am familiar with Holmes County Ohio but others might not be . Made me smile that u keep mentioning Holmes county but not which state . . Love your inspiration ! Blessings!
I was so excited Friday - I went to an Amish store about 30 miles from me and found Walnut creek products. I was however shopping for herbs and spices for my granddaughter. She and her husband are a USAF family and were just sent back to Japan after less then a year stateside. The military come in and pack all your belongings other than parishables. She is now trying to find spices which are not always in stock on base.
Thank you for taking us along. Thanks for inspiring and definitely encouraging me in all the right ways.
❤ xo
Thank you for sharing of... receiving grace from God and your insight to share more grace to others. That was for me to hear and apply. 💜
So sorry for yall having to get ready for another hurricane 🌀
Especially for your parents ❤
I went to a mennonites discount food store in Cave city Kentucky and they had a lot of foods that were distributed by Walnut creek. Lots of cheeses
You have a beautiful family❤️ Love your channel!
Your little mini me wanted to go thrifting! So sweet!
It is normal after trauma to have a point where it sinks in and leaves you exhausted. It is usually after things have calmed down and the adrenaline rush and feeling of crisis mode is over. For many this is 6-8 weeks after a loss. It will pass.
You could have some secondary PTSD from your parents loss and father’s near miss in being at his house.
(I hope this next hurricane isn’t so bad!)
Another great video. It always makes me happy to watch your videos cuz it's all about your family friends and mostly all of us about God. You take your time to spend with us. It's always love your videos
You're doing a video on taking a slower pace and here I am watching it at 1.5x so it fits into my schedule. 😁
Thank you for sharing your much needed food for thought. For nearly 20 years I worked two jobs, kept a house, etc. to hopefully supplement my pension by building my social security (of which I was denied). That to say, I missed out on so much during that time, friendships, family, hobbies, and time.?Time I will never get back. I write to say, enjoy life as much as possible, grow good sound supportive relationships and….. just stop, sit, smell and roses along the way, for so quickly that time passes. A part of that is also to take care of yourself; body, mind and soul. I wish you all peace✌️🙏
Today has been a tough day- your video really helped my mental state thank you so much❤❤
🥹🥹 hang in there.
We just came back from Berlin OH…. I am a local. Wanted to buy some out door fall decor. And was still busy there with tourists. God Bless You Always!! Pamela RN
Thanks for encouragement to break up the day with something different. Currently in newborn stageso feels like alot right now, even though it's my 3rd time round. Love the day in the life videos
The Tenderflake pastry recipe on the box is foolproof. Dough freezes well too. Alice🇨🇦
Dear Heavenly Father. Please protect this family from the storm 🙏
Lynette, always enjoy watching videos of your beautiful family. Hope you figure out how to take time out & smell the roses. I too raised four kiddos; 2 girls & 2 boys.😂😂 I have been thinking of y'all & this new hurricaine threat. I am lifting you up in prayer as we all wait to hear what Helene's direction will be. May God's blessings & hedge of protection surround FL.
Jaxon is a replica of his uncle Grant. They are growing up….thanks for sharing them with us. I would love to style Oaklynn’s hair. 😊
I love your cooking videos. You mentioned you were going to make baguettes. Could you show us in your next video how you made them?

After 2 they grow up so fast ❤ but I love every stage ❤
I love your videos!
Enjoyed
Lynette I completely understand. I have raised 5 , 4 girls and my 4 th was my son . He grew up very spoiled by myself and his 3 older sisters so when he was 13 I started being extra hard on him because I notice he didn’t like confrontation or listening so I worried that I needed to raise a good man good father and strong at the same time to deal with this world he was entering . He is the only one who listened to my advice he grew up to be a great provider husband father and well with his multitasking I had to instill in him he is only 31 is a father if 2 has built 3 brandnew homes is a sergeant with the PD with 8 police officers under him and let me tell you there listening even though you think there not . My girls tell me all of the time omg mom I sound like you to my children lol . They grow up so fast nick is 31 and cassy is 28 and I have 12 grandchildren from all of my wonderful pain in the rear at one time with 4 girls children but there very with it hugs lots of love still keeping your parents in my prayers ❤ sweet friend 😍🙏🏻🤗
❤❤❤
Hi Lynette I know this is off topic but I saw there is a potential for another storm in the Sarasota area. Sending up prayers for you and all your family members ❤️
It looks like it’ll not be coming straight at us. But I’m sure we’ll feel effects. 😏
Please be safe in the storm.
Be safe there's another storm blowing in
I saw on the weather report another hurricane will hit Florida. Fortunately, it is North of Sarasota.
