Between personal viewings and reaction channels, I've easily seen this movie over 100 times, yet I still tear up at Wade's and Vanessa's scene at the end.
I also learned about the licensing. When I saw a Canadian reaction, it wasn't playing Take On Me in the Vanessa scenes, I guess it's the same here with the UK version.
@@Billis75 I just went back and checked my copies since I didn't remember that song playing during those scenes. Turns out the song is in the theatrical release, but it's replaced by ambient music in the director's cut. I probably didn't remember it since I only watched the theatrical version once.
@@TheNeonParadox Yes, the theatrical version has quite a bit of music that was replaced in the director's cut. A lot of Deadpool's jokes are different too.
I know right? The Deadpool movies are not only funnier but also have more heart than close to any other superhero movie.
The X-Force parachute scene is one of the funniest scenes ever imo. The Brad Pitt cameo damn near made me piss myself in the theater.😂
Brad Pitt literally played the role for a cup of coffee.
Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Alan Tudyk are all in this film in very small roles. Thanks for watching this and reacting to it - it's a favorite!
And Fred Savage as apparently playing himself, Fred Savage. Though I don’t know when in the movie, but he’s listed in IMDB.
@@cozenw3236 That is only in the pg13 cut of the movie.
@@blondebeardgaming4480 Figures. I was actually going to scavenge for him. You actually saved me lots of time on looking for it since my searching skills suck. Thanks for the info.
@@cozenw3236 The PG-13 cut is called Once Upon a Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds only agreed to do it if they allowed Deadpool to kidnap an adult Fred Savage and tell him the story like Princess Bride. I have not seen it but it sounds funny. PG-13 funny.
The upcoming Deadpool/Wolverine movie will be legendary
"Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!"
Sad to say it sounds like Disney is mucking it up like they do everything nowadays
Fun fact: The Director of this movie used to be a stunt man and was Brad Pitt‘s body double; that’s how they were able to convince him to show up for a one shot joke.
According to rumors he was also only paid with a cup of coffee. According to Ryan Reynolds "I was told all he wants is a cup of coffee and I said, ‘Like a franchise or just one individual cup of coffee?’ And I was told one individual cup of coffee, which was really his way of saying, ‘I’m doing it for nothing.’ And it was a total solid and the nicest thing anyone could do.”
In the first movie DP did tell Blind Al that there was a large amount of Coke hidden next to the cure for blindness. You kinda missed it...
@@mikelarsen5836 Eww okay 😂 Get off his channel then.
This wasn’t “Marvel” Marvel at the time. It was Fox-Marvel. There was just a different approach between the two studios.
3:51 might want to censor that
I want a spinoff show of Dopinder and Weasel just running the bar together. It would be like a sick and twisted R rated mashup of "Cheers" and "Taxi."
The rednecks that Cable takes out at the pickup truck are played by Alan Tudyk and Matt Damon.
Biloxi is in Mississippi.
I've always thought all the X-Force members died on landing because Dominos extra luck was sapped from them, leaving them with terrible luck parachuting down
There were weather warnings on the news before that scene. They basically chose the worst method of travel for that situation.
That’s not how her powers work at all 🤣
Btw Early on Colossus was able to change back to human form but as he got older his body started to maintain the metallic form more before he couldn’t change back at all eventually.
Logan is coming back for Deadpool 3.🤯
As a Green Lantern fan, I enjoyed the movie. It was not a good movie but seeing what they were able to do with effects and character design showed there was potential for them to do the Lantern Universe right. I just hope if they do, they separate it from all the Justice League nonsense because the Lantern universe is absolutely huge on it's own.
Naw, they need to go ahead and do the Lobo movie with Jason Mamoa. Go ahead, tell me Jason Mamoa is not the ideal person to play Lobo. 😁
Yeah, the movie was garbage, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
If you're still fatigued, try another comedy: Mystery Men. It has a lot of stars and spoofs on the idea of super heroes and villains.
Btw, Fatal Instinct is an underappreciated movie. Armond Assante is hilarious.
I am so happy to see someone else talking as much as I do during a movie 😂
Trust me it's not superhero fatigue. The issue with many of the movies coming out lately can be stemmed from Disney and their degrading of marvel. Lack of good writing, autonomy, originality, and effort have made superhero movies stale. She hulk is our newest example of this sad trend.
Juggernaut is the stepbrother of Xavier. That's why he has the helmet.
Black Widow (Movie, 2021) try this one too
Biloxi is in Mississippi, good casinos.
The Barbra Streisand callback at the end kills me, because she's Josh Brolin's (Cable's) real-life stepmom.
I’d forgotten that. 🎃
« Let’s watch porn » puts Yentle on
By the way that's the thing in the south in the Midwest they basically take bull balls and they cast them in either aluminum or brass and they hook it to the back of their truck
Who the hell told you that?
Lol.."Imagine taking a brick to the face" That's actually how my nose got broken the first time.
Biloxi is in Mississippi…cute little town
I love how the whole house is going up in flames yet you have no clue what happened to all them kids.
That was a blast. Thank you. Love all your videos. Always make it fun.
OH you came back for episode 2 >.> ... you really must be unwell
LOL.. Loves you dear ♥♥
Biloxi is in the Mississippi Gulf Coast
9:44 did you notice the cure for blindness for the old lady under the floor boards.
Oh. Yes, by the way, on the SR71 Blackbird. 🙂
"Zip it, Thanos! We had a deal."
The awesome thing about Domino who did date Deadpool for a while is that she has the power over causality at least on the subconscious level
Deadpool wasn't Disney/Marvel. That's why it was squeaky clean. They now own Deadpool and promised a R rating
think plan was to use rhino instead of jugg, but they only owned "mutant" characters so they went with the super OP juggernaut who cant be stopped once in motion and have an impenetrable force shield he can control with his mind, colossus would not have stood a chance and would never gotten a cable inside the shield, but change juggernaut to rhino in your mind and it all comes together and they have a big history in the comics
Eh... a lot of people beat Juggernaut in comics. After years of him being a team effort fight, Marvel started using him as a person who got defeated by people outsmarting him, using his powers against him, or just putting him in situations where he can't utilize motion to escape.
Plus every comic book character is weaker than their comic versions in movies. This Juggernaut might as well be Ultimate universe Juggernaut.
Kabir: This is some type of prison for mutants? Mmmh. This seems kind of sinister.
Sinister: 👀❗
There are really only 7 Marvel movies that I have really enjoyed, worth watching more than once. Both Deadpool movies, both Guardians movies(although the second was a drop off, unlike DP2), Thor Ragnarok, Logan and the first Avengers film. The rest, that I have seen, are a one watch and mostly forget thing.
Oh, just remembered, Biloxi is on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. It is known for a military base, casinos and beaches, it is like a low budget Vegas.
Biloxi Mississippi is a small town on the Gulf of Mexico. It’s right on the freeway, next to a military base, so there’s lots of strip clubs.
The video of the main theme song, Into Ashes by Celine Dion, has him dancing on stage in heals.
Fun fact: cable is cyclops son from the future
Black Adam...yes
Omg I almost died laughing waiting to see your reaction as they jumped out the plane, and good call on Juggernaut, however it’s kinda sketchy on his status since on one hand his power comes from Magic armor, and on the other hand he has mutant abilities.
Green Lantern is an aggressively cookie-cutter superhero movie where you don't really buy the character arc, with hit-and-miss visual effects yet still fun action scenes. It's not bad as much as bland. It might be worth a video in a content drought.
It's worth seeing, if only to verify for yourself how the producers and director missed opportunities to make it far better.
The Ice Box, The Raft, The Cube, The Vault are all super prisons for super powered individuals in the Marvel Universe. I think the Ice Box is specifically the Canadian super prison.
I do agree that this is a very fun film, but I'm still going to have to say the original is better, you just have the advantage in originals of novelty. When I say original, I do not mean the Deadpool that appeared in "Wolverine" that part of that movie was a trainwreck. As for the new "Blade" movie, I would love a new movie, but I'm not sure I can watch another actor in Wesley Snipe's role. The guy is a phenomenon.
Superhero movies you might like (to react to): Kick-Ass; Hancock; The Incredibles, Big Hero 6,
That guy with all the guns played Thanos too. I’ll probably will get busted saying I am giving spoilers but that is a whole different movie.
Eventually you'll see why cable change his mission because his new Mission will be to take out apocalypse if it goes down the path is supposed to because he has to ensure his own birth but you can only happen if Scott Summers and Jean Gray get together
Jean Grey isn’t his mother.
It does indeed seem Sinister.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
PG-13 2021 ‧ Action/Fantasy ‧ 2h 12m. do a reaction to this marvel movie. it was great
Ant Man, Ant Man and the Wasp are also 2 Marvel films that I'm sure you'll like. Free Guy is another Ryan Reynolds film that's Very Funny.
If you haven't seen shang chi you should do a reaction to it probably one of the best movies in this phase
This!! I agree. Beautifully shot as well
Biluxie is in "Missippi"
Great observation! That’s true according to the comics neither Deadpool or wolverine can get drunk.
The film doesn't take itself seriously in anyway, so the lore isn't really that relevant, and that makes me wonder if they did the Juggernaut thing on purpose. He isn't a mutant, so those collars in the Ice Box wouldn't have done anything. There's no way they would have been able to hold him in that place. So, I think it's got to be either just trolling the hardcore geeks for a laugh, or possibly like, 'Make up some excuse to get Juggernaut in here. It doesn't have to make any sense'.
Yeah also you may see more Bishop hopefully in the future along with Gambit and other mutants like the morlocks
No way home was dope
You have reacted to some of my favorite movies this month. But i do have to say I'm a bit disappointed there hasn't been any spooky, scary types of movies for the month of October.
Aww, everyone does that. It’s nice to have someone breaking up the 5,999th Hocus Pocus reaction🤣
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 🤣🤣🤣
Matt Damon was one of the red necks Cable stole the truck from
Deadpool's healing abilities is his time stronger than Wolverines which the original strand comes from but he already had his own combined with that of the cancer so as long as one cell survives just like the Incredible Hulk he will regenerate
If memory serves Deadpool can regenerate from a single cell
Also known as Nathan Summers nickname cable the descended of Jean Gray and Scott Summers also known as cyclops and this may lead to many different Futures depending on how this goes also I can't wait to the emergence of Bishop which they did have a brief mentioned in X-Men Days of Future Past
Cable's Scott and Jean's son, who was infected with the Techno Organic Virus (hence the robot arm) and was taken to the future to try to cure him. Scott and Jean later got to help raise him by having their minds sent forward into the future into different bodies, IIRC. X men lore is confusing
Jean isn’t Cables mum. Madelyne Pryor is. Same DNA, but different person lol
Wolverine and Deadpool could be thrown into the sun and still stay alive. Eternally crisp, but alive. There are some downsides to regeneration. Another fun fact, any limbs and stuff that gets blown off, cut off...etc just are useless pieces of the body. So there are probably tons of his body parts in garbage bins around the world. lol. In the comics a super fan of Deadpool would collect his parts and store them in the freezer. Then they put them together and made another Deadpool.
Truck nuts are a thing in the US. It's the "'merica!" part of the US that has these.
The Deadpool movies are some of my fav superhero movies. I have enjoyed all of the Tom Holland Spider-man movies, but overall I'm not digging the Phase 4 movies either.
Brolin was a great Cable. Still have issue 1. Domino, while not as impressive as the comics, she made a cool MJ.
In about a month it might be time to react to "Once Upon a Deadpool". Sure it's mostly the first one, but the added content is well worth it for a Christmas movie
Rad you watched the better version, the fight at the end is soo much better with mischief brew playing fight dirty instead of the song in the theatrical release lol
Marvel studios did not do these Deadpool movies. They were still under Fox. And if it werent for the fans supporting a skit clip...these Deadpool movies would've never happened.
That's what it seems like on the surface But Domino's power is oodles times more powerful than that she actually is able to manipulate on a subconscious level causality that benefits her and protects her and can manipulate it consciously to about 30 to 50% of her psychokinesis
those rednecks by the trucks were played by Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk, knowing it know, I can see Alan, but Matt Damon is so disguised that even when I know who he is, I can not recognize him at all
It’s kind of cool for me as a Vancouverite to think that Deadpool, Duncan McLeod, the original kids from 21 Jump Street, the Smallville people, Elf and Juno all live in the Vancouver, Canada area in some alternate universe. Some of the scenes in these movies are iconic to me because I used to hang out there. And an East Indian taxi driver in Vancouver? Perfect.
Smallville! You just brought me back a lot of memories. That show was so underrated
@@kabirconsiders you gotta react to the updates for deadpool 3!
I totally understand feeling "burned out" on superhero movies (especially Marvel). I absolutely loved the first few but then it seemed like the franchise just started "milking" the popularity. I watched all of Phase 1 and some of Phase 2 and had every intention to continue watching the following movies but, honestly, I've just lost interest. Deadpool added a new spin, though, and I've greatly enjoyed the first two. Still have little interest in the other MCU movies.
Great reaction, my dude. Thanks for what you do. 👍
If you didn’t watch Winter Soldier or anything after that you missed the best ones.
@@ROArecords2 That's somewhat encouraging. I might get around to watching more MCU at some point.
They need ryan to write the scripts .
This was Sony, not Disney/Marvel. NOW Disney/Marvel has the rights to Deadpool who knows.
this was Fox not Sony
@@runjennierun07 You are correct, my mistake.
Dude, what version are you watching? I swear there are bits here that I don't remember... I mean, I wouldn't mind, except I only watched it again a few days ago...
It’s the “Super Duper Cut” basically the unrated directors cut. Couple new jokes etc. also provided a lot more context for Russell’s time in the orphanage
Cheers for that
I'm really nervous about the new Blade movie. That is one of my all time favorites and to remake something that is already perfection in my eyes is truly nerve wracking. Sometimes you need to leave well enough alone.
Wesley Snipes actually picked the person to act as Blade. I'm not excited about a new Blade, but I hear the new actor is just as good at martial arts as Wesley.
That is correct that is a SR-71 Blackbird like they would with the CIA I think of American Beauty won the fastest planes ever made on the planet
Yo man, if you haven’t seen it, you should check out The Departed
This was not MCU. Many Marvel characters were sold to 20th Century years ago. X Men being many on them. When Disney bought Fox, they got them back.
Green Lantern was not actually a bad movie, although it did rely a bit too much on CGI, and the characters were not nearly as deep as the ones here. Green Lantern did terribly at the Box Office, so badly that they did not do a second film (there was even a teaser for the movie that did not get made in the credits for that one too). Compared to Deadpool, Green Lantern is not even in the same league (or the same universe, as Green Lantern is a DC Character).
Disney bought rights to Marvel in 2009. While Disney claims they not to have any say so or impact on Marvel movies, it kind of makes you wonder when the movies are so sanitized as to be absolutely boring as heck.
Fox did a good job with the Deadpool movies. I just hope Disney doesn't screw
Deadpool up by trying to make the third movie PG-13. It just wouldn't work.
I'm kinda surprised you didn't like the last Spider-Man movie very much. I thought it was
the best of the Holland Spider-Man movies so far. He was actually Spider-Man for part
of the movie instead of Spider-Boy who I think he's been so far in the past movies.
Personally I don't think the Green Lantern movie was that bad. I liked it. It's not a great movie
but it's an okay one. If you like darker superhero movies and haven't seen the second Suicide Squad movie
yet, you should watch that one. It's a great movie.
"Is that movie worth watching by the way? Green Lantern?"
He shot Ryan Reynolds before he could make it. What do you think? =P
DP 1 & 2 were Fox, pre Disney buy out. Marvel phase 4 was all Disney... They better not screw up DP.
Yeah
I hope they do Blade R rated
It’s stupid what they did with Morbius
Making it pg13 and watering it down
If Marvel kept pumping out movies, they wouldn't be able to collect 100% of gross from the movie. Have you noticed that when a Marvel movie starts losing steam at the box office, the next one is ready for the theatre...?
My dude needs to watch Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman which are different from the basic superhero tropes that make the characters cartoonish and more of a comedy. Alot if people didn’t like those movies because of the lack of comedy or slap stick one liners. Also they are deep into the morality and humanities expectations of someone with unhuman powers. Christopher Nolan and Chris Terrio wrote Man of Steel and Chris Nolan asked his friend to direct it.
You must have stopped early or became jaded with Marvel. Because to say they are "samish" is a misnomer. There is so much variety in Marvel.
Heh did you catch the cure for blindness next to the cocaine in the hidden stash? Just like he promised in the first movie!
Colossus took it easy on Angel in the 1st one because she's a women.
Deadpool breaks the fourth wall WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than She-Hulk!!!!!!!!
They had to fight really hard to get Deadpool made because it wasn't based on the formula. Especially since Disney bought Marvel.
You have know clue how "sinister" that place is
💗
Most writers nowadays can't have any good ideas. They just remake (Politically Correct) good old movie and TV shows. They just don't work now.
Also pause it @ 38:04. You say he only had 1 bullet. Pretty sure that H&K pistol locks the slide open when out of ammo...
Its just over saturation of super hero movies. Yes they are unique and different but they still feel very much part of same genre which is nothing wrong with that. Deadpool feels more like an action comedy first rather than super hero movie. You don't really have to be a fan or knowledgeable of comics to enjoy them. You can just enjoy the action/violence and not pg humor.
seriously WORST CASE SENARIO to get the collar off when Wade was dying use his blades to take his headoff he'll look like a south park kid for theday but he'll be fine I was more concerned when he wasin the water cause it he's too far down and drowned or froze HOW does he get out to revive but sure just have him shoot out cool
Come on, Kabir, WAKE UP ... Disney has made the superhero movies like they are ON PURPOSE ... FOR A BAD REASON that isnt "incompetence"! *WAAAKEE UPPP!*
*_Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is ENEMY INTERFERENCE!_*
I'm pretty darn far from sensitive, and I know you meant no offense. But still...I cringed a bit when you talked about Deadpool's grotesque facial deformities. You may have subscribers or just watchers who have facial deformities equal to or worse than DP's. Some may have got them from an exploding IED while serving their country, or burned in a car fire, or any number of ways. I doubt they're in denial about their deformities, but they also don't need to watch someone reacting so harshly to DP's face, when it really isn't that bad, comparatively speaking. Just something to keep in mind in the future.
