I agree with another commenter that it's squeaks AND rattles, inherent to the Ramcharger, Blazer(K5), & Bronco. Once they get some age on them, it's just part of it short of replacing all the soft parts - YET it's also part of the 'charm' as it were. IIRC, the chrome wagon wheels were a factory option for a few years. SHARP TRUCK!
Beautiful Ramcharger! I would have said to go with white wheels, but I'm trying to picture it with those and I can't imagine that looking better than the chromies. They compliment the bumpers and trim nicely, so I think it was the right choice.

So is the RamCharger elevated to the lofty position of "The Scherr's Most Reliable Vehicle in the Fleet" status ...? PS; I heard no squeak either. The occasional rattle for sure. But, my hearing cuts out at 3-3.5Khz anyway, so that might explain a lot ....!
I have an '84 Chevy K5 and I'm also running 31x10.50r15 BFG ATs on steel wagon wheels. I have the white ones because my Blazer is red and white so it just works better but I think chrome was the right choice for your Ramcharger.
Wheels and Tires Approved .. ( i think the caps should be on ) BUT.. that's just me.. It's one of the Nicest Ram Chargers i have seen.. Great Find... ( wonder if its faster than my Suburban ) 🤔

Happy New Year Curious to know if Tom was to watch the video on playback at a high volume can he hear the squeak then? At the place where you brought up those mountains there out into the hills is that one of the areas prone to wildfires or is it further higher up in elevation?
As to the hearing louder doesn't make it clearer for Tom. Too much time spent in a machine shop without ear protection. No wildfires in that area as far as we can tell but it sure looks possible in the summer. Thanks for watching!

Two things: Elana is the more trustworthy one, and the Ramcharger has a squeak not a rattle. :)
I had an 86 Ramcharger. One of my biggest regrets was selling it. Great truck, no real problems with it, except it had bad gas mileage.

I have polished AR Bajas on my 79 for about ten years now. Although a red tinge of Moab clay clings to them now. 🤣
