Honestly, as a lifelong (48) fin fan, I'm just so happy to have a team that looks, well....like a team. Playing for each other, talking each other up, little or no in fighting, no scandals, a QB who has talent and no ego and a coach that I am proud to see in front of the Mic post game.
It's a result driven game, do I want to win the division? Yes, of course. Will we? I hope. Is Tua the guy? I still don't know. But as long as we give it 100% and no one thinks they are bigger than the team, that is ALL I want from my Fins.
Good stuff brother, I’m in the same boat. No matter what I’ll support this team, but it’s nice to finally be getting some respect. Not even from the sports pundits, but when your buddies who are fans of AFC powerhouses tell you they envy what Miami is doing on offense is a testament to the right direction. Fans of other teams have given us more respect in the last 2 seasons than we’ve had in a very long time 😂

Peyton Manning didn’t lose in the playoffs because the entire offense was rendered meaningless because of his lack of arm. He might’ve had his struggles, but it wasn’t strongly because of lack of physical ability. Not struggling for the same reasons that Tua does🤷🏾.

Even Peyton Manning having gone through his issues told Tua recently that being a qb is a marathon and not a sprint. The best qb he can learn from is literally Peyton Manning and even if he started slow. He is one of the best to play the qb position.

Jordan Love is special. I can see why the Packers locked him up. Plays in cold weather, strong, accurate arm, makes good decisions. Good pocket presence. Totally understand his contract. Tua on the other hand is a bad deal that the Dolphins will live to regret.
Tua’s the best qb Miami has had in DECADES. Miami went from a losing team to 4 straight winning seasons and somehow you think that’s a loss for the organization. When a player helps take your team from “will we make the playoffs?” to “can we make the Super Bowl?” that player isn’t a regret

Rich Eisen has never, ever, ever, ever met a quarterback contract that he thought was excessive.
Tua's gonna improve again for this year, just like he has every year since being a pro. He is really flourishing under McDaniels. When he was paired with Flores it wasn't well, plus add the the fact he had 3 different OC's and 2 diff Qb coaches his first 2 years with Flores.

3rd year for both Tua and McDaniel, will most likely result in improvement not digression. Part of the playoff and late December woes is the scheme and the health of the team. I believe Tua will be able to execute an improve scheme and position the Fins to win.

Love had a one good half a season was absolute trash in the first half. He also btw has a good offensive coach. Both I think are going to have good career but don’t act like Tua is trash

Whatcha talking about "Hawk?" Honestly Tua is excellent, he'll leave you in stitches when he's on. Consistency is an issue in heavy situations, it took Peyton awhile too. But there's a lot about team staying healthy.

The bad thing about Brian Flores wasn't necessarily that he was a defensive coach his problem was he acted like he had never struggled or gone through situations that were negative and you know why would you want somebody to struggle more because you got a bad attitude about it that is insane so the Dolphins had an insane coach in my strong personal feeling

An individual player doesn’t win Superbowl’s. Or playoff games. Teams do. While QB is the most important offensive position because they touch the ball every single play - they can’t overcome poor defense, special teams, coaching, or subpar offensive line play. It doesn’t matter how good the QB is or isn’t.
You and I know that, but Brockman is a Pats fan, and to prop up Brady as the GOAT you basically have to swallow and regurgitate the idea that "QB wins" is a real stat.

I don't know, but I know of another guy who had 2 of the worst tackles in football last year (one led the league in penalties and each could barely block anyone) and his receivers led the league is dropped passes, and he still won the Super Bowl. I'm not naming names, but just sayin'.

He a pocket passer, I don’t think that style of play doesn’t get much love anymore since Pat and Lamar but Tua is revitalizing that style of play. The numbers and the eye test says he’s only going to get better! Great contract for both. This year we will win the division, aims for the bowl. Tua catches so much disrespect because when we played the big tough good teams down the stretch we didn't look like we belonged. I have watched the Dolphins closely since Shula's first press conference and what I saw last year was our very best pro bowl caliber/possible HOF caliber players players on both sides of the lines were missing. Put them on the field (LT Armstead/DE Philips/Connor, last year's center) and i think we would match up well with any of the top teams. Tua is a great leader and tough as a pair of John Wayne's boots and his talent level is very sufficient for winning big games against top teams when the talent level is near equal. ALL Great QB's are surrounded by great talent, with only a handful of exceptions (Marino, Elway, Luck come to mind).

Jordan love passes the eye test. Tua is good as far as decision making. But the offense is very QB friendly as far as motions/deception. They have great weapons…. Definitely not worth it. The Bucs only gave Baker 100mil essentially. They would have traded him. Trade Tua for Baker and give Baker his same deal, you have a tougher QB with a bigger arm to air it long to your speedy receivers, plus McDaniels has to know Baker has at least as good of a football IQ and can work in his system given his time at the Rams.
