Beautiful and stylish b&w video for Marcela Detroit 1994 single "I Believe" from her album "Jewel". Directors of this video are Andy Delaney and Monty Whitebloom (Big TV!) who also have made videos for "The Beloved" (Sweet Harmony) and KT Tunstall. In a TV interview about this clip Marcy says that she would like to model her performance after 1928 silent film "La passion de Jeanne d'Arc" which has Maria Falconetti in the leading role.
Such a beautiful work of art. Its such a shame this wonderful song has been largely forgotten. It's got to be amongst the most unrated songs of the last 30 yrs.

Omg i found the song! I remembered this from my childhood and loved the vocals that i always sing it each time it played on the radio. I had forgotten the artist and title and lately have heard it on the radio while i was driving. Its been bugging my head since then that i had to guess part of the lyrics of the chorus and lo and behold there it is! I am so glad i found it. Such a great song and her voice is utterly mesmerising. Added bonus is the lyrics is so uplifting too ❤

not many songs can bring me almost to tears like this one,- this song is one of the heart touches ever made' it's like her heart sang that song - the song's words and her voice came up from the bottom of her heart. just rare artists can perform in souch delicate and powerfull voice .amazing.period!
24 people do not believe in good music. After 20 years I am still wondering that she did not make a bigger career with such a powerful voice.
