This is a automated task you will get 2 hour extra tested on my s23 ultra at some hard scenarios. Also these get reverted back to normal once charged above 20 percentage normally without changing anything manually.
Even though you drop the resolution on he S23 Ultra to 1080p, the consumption won´t be the same as the S23 +, because the S23 Ultra screen is 1440p, you will only reescale the images, but the screen has the same number of pixels (much higher) so the battery has to feed the bigger screen with more pixels anyway. The only saving battery is for the GPU, processing less textures because of the reescaling to 1080p.
Fyi droping the resolution doesnt make a difference because samsung is throttling your display to 1080p most of the time, the s23 ultra has spen support and bluetooth spen sitting inside the phone charging thats the main reason to the s22+ and s23+ beating their ultra model
@fearless6947 no its the spen always charging inside the spen, and these extras eat up the battery since the s23 ultra has a bit more processing to do than the s23+, it's a 1 hour screen on time difference that's not a big difference, if the difference was marginal like 3-4 hours that what I'd consider better battery life. Just like using the phone on 60hz saves only 1 hour of battery hours, and I wouldn't consider going back to 60hz just to get slightly longer battery when I need the slight juice and the battery is low I'll turn on 60hz but ya, it makes sense for s23 ultra to have slightly worse battery life, hopefully samsung will stop cheaping out and give us the bigger 5500mAh or 6000mAh the way tech is advancing we need that size maybe even 7000mAh.
@@Shan_Shah that's interesting, thanks :). About the bigger battery thing, if Samsung gives us much bigger battery, wouldn't the phone be massive. I think the plus is quite big already

@@hans-petermaier9000 It would probably make enough difference for the Ultra to be the winner with the bigger battery and ability to drop down to 1hz. This is a automated task you will get 2 hour extra tested on my s23 ultra at some hard scenarios. Also these get reverted back to normal once charged above 20 percentage normally without changing anything manually.
How i can do that mode? Can u explain please 🙏

It's weird that the s23 performs better than the s22+ and ultra haha
S23 lineup are freaking cool!
Bro one question
Which storage you used for s23
128gb or 256 gb reply please 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
Thank you for this detail
Even though you drop the resolution on he S23 Ultra to 1080p, the consumption won´t be the same as the S23 +, because the S23 Ultra screen is 1440p, you will only reescale the images, but the screen has the same number of pixels (much higher) so the battery has to feed the bigger screen with more pixels anyway.
The only saving battery is for the GPU, processing less textures because of the reescaling to 1080p.
Now i'm really glad i got the S23 plus
I got s23 plus and I’m loving it! Best phone I had in years, snapdragon 8gen2 is the real deal!
Hello what settings did you put on the s23 plus to get 10 h and 40 minutes please ? , did you change anything ? from the settings ? , did you change
@nicolaspedrazalis5104 ehh I did not upload th3 video 😆
Where is the S24 aeries compare the s23 series and iPhone series?
Fyi droping the resolution doesnt make a difference because samsung is throttling your display to 1080p most of the time, the s23 ultra has spen support and bluetooth spen sitting inside the phone charging thats the main reason to the s22+ and s23+ beating their ultra model
that makes sense. It's the space for the pen
I'll be getting the S23 normal version. thanks for the review I was in need for that 💙👍
what do you think, are you enjoying it?
Better back up it's ok or bad
Any update? Worth it or better go for the plus version?
@@itsalx8704i got it and it's amazing, it lasts so long, you can easily watch 8 hours of youtube with 1 charge 💀 , imagine it's better than s22+ if that is not convincing enough then idk what is
Fun fact, the 23 Ultras adaptive framerate is acually 24-120Hz, Not 1-120. If u activate Developer Mode and then anable visible framerate, it Shows 24fps when its a Not moving screen
I'm curious to know if the S23 Ultra would have won on 1080p? I feel like it would have been a more fair test to leave the Ultras on 1080p since that's what most people will probably leave them at. I can't really tell much of a difference between 1080p and 1440p on a 6.8" screen.
s23 ultra fhd test please
it doesnt make too much of a difference
@@hans-petermaier9000 It would probably make enough difference for the Ultra to be the winner with the bigger battery and ability to drop down to 1hz. I just hate when tests don't have all the phones at equal brightness and resolution. This test has people thinking that getting the + will be the way to get the best battery life when in reality the Ultra has lasted longer than the plus on 90% of the tests.
@Mark R I have the s23 ultra but when I type on UA-cam it keeps on crashing do you think it's a bag
@Avner Touitou A bag? Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about. I would try to clear the data or uninstall the updates from UA-cam and re-download the update and see if that fixes the issue.
Great video for considering my next phone, thank you!

in 1:00 The question. How did you get from 100% to 99% to last 34 minutes on the S23 Plus? the most I got on the same setting as you on the S23 plus was from 100% to 99% just 17 minutes. How did you achieve the same in 34 minutes of battery life 100% to 99%
He is probably in 60hz
S22U with Exynos maximum 5 hours SOT. So, you should do the test with SIM cards inside maybe. 7:27h SOT on S22U are unreachable. And yeah, I don't play games on it.

You can't compare both devices, as the s23+ is just a regular well-balanced Galaxy, and the Ultra is a Note-class device with an additional camera, that makes it unique and with a stylus, which is very convenient thing once you get used to it. So you're comparing apples to oranges here ;)

how big of difference will it be if u had one local sim and one sim international roaming? cuz my SoT only averages around 3hrs from 85% to 25%, is this considered normal? my SoT is usually just whatsapp, youtube and netflix, is this too low?
Please do the same test with all S24 and S23 family including S23fe.

How did you get so much screen-on-time on the small S22? I can just reach 4 hours with mine. Yes, I have the optimization on.

BRAVO SUPER VIDEO TEST 👍
Can you give the name of those musics?
To see the Real Battery Life of the S23 Ultra vs S23 Plus, you should put the S23 ULTRA screen in FULL HD. So the S23 ULTRA FULL HD 60hz and the S23 Plus FULL HD 60hz screen. If possible lock the screen at 60hz of course. that way there would be a more real result between the two. There are people who don't care about a 4k or 120hz screen. Screen in FULL HD and 60hz is great and long battery life. Make this new one like I said and post the video on your channel.. I look forward to this test

What is better the base 23 or the 23 Plus?
Anyone zoom in and see the battery %ages shown above dont match the ones actually on the phone for the s22 ultra @ the 3:04 mark
the fact that an A series phone completely destroys the S22u in battery life bothers me...
Less demanding processor and no spen, along with a weaker display
Can u tell exactly what settings were on on s23 ultra? My average battery life is of sot is 6 to 7h only even without extensive camera usage rarely 10min max
Could you do a Deep Sleep Battery Life test?
Thanks for including atleast a mid-range phone🎉

I just have S23+, it's great that the battery beats all models :)
Great to see you again, super video.
Really happy with my s23+. I seldom go below 40% during a whole day of use.
How come s23+ drop from 17% to 6% within 10 mins and then took 1 hr 30 mins from 6% to 0. No samsung phone can give this much SOT from 6 to 0.
Its at 17% on the screen of the phone. If you look close, you can see the battery icon is still white and it is showing a double digit number. The number you see above the phone is probably an error in the display of the battery graphic
Phones only accurately guess the battery % but dont know exactly how much charge is REALLY left. thats why some days if u do the same thing, it could stay at 1% forever or die fast at 5%
Don't see nobody talking about this. I'm only getting 5.5 hours SOT with my S23+ in mobile data. I'm coming from 13 pro max and I was getting 10+ hours with same usage like social media UA-cam and some photos and videos. The plus heats up a lot more than my last iphone even though I'm using light mode profile. I don't think it was a good switch :(
Must have something running in background, my s22 sometimes just heats up for a short period for no reason as far as I can tell, checked running services and things. If you just got the phone then I suggest you give it more time to do it stuffs?, especially after a system update
how is it now, with the updates? My s23 is lovely and last the whole day. I use my chromebook more though for youtube, email, google search. Nowadays chromebooks are light. If you are heavy phone user, maybe the ultra is better but plus should also be good
