I've been on my journey since September 1st, 2022. I was 490 pounds with 69 percent body fat on high blood pressure medication and A1C of 6.9. Started mounjaro and daily walks after each meal and strength training 2 days a week. Changed my nutrition to prioritize protein by eating 250g of protein a day. January 1st, 2025, im 260 pounds no longer on high blood pressure medication. I also started hrt for low thyroid and low testosterone . I've lost 230 pounds. I strength train 5 days a week with daily 15-minute walks after each meal. I hit 10,000 plus steps a day. My workout i started 2 months ago is
    1. Farmer carries with dumbells.
    2. Suite case carries with dumbells.
    3. Overhead carries with dumbells.
    4. Back barbell squat
    5. Barbell overhead press
    6. Wide n close grip bench Incline press
    7. Barbell rows
    8. Traditional and sumo deadlift
I feel stronger and leaner. I feel so much better and healthy.

Josiah, I'm 5'9 & currently 200 lbs. At my heaviest weight as an adult, I was 243 lbs. Losing weight is not really a problem for me. My problem is keeping the weight off. I was born with cerebral palsy & unfortunately, it limits certain things that I can & can't do. Walking has never been a problem for me. Weight training, on the other hand, is extremely tough for me. I can't lift heavy things with my left hand. At all. It's because of that fact that I've accepted the fact that I'll never have a 6 pack ever. And that's fine with me. At this point, I'm 40 years old & I just want to be healthy for the rest of my life.

@@wyntonmohorn Thanks for sharing your story, man. I respect the self-awareness and the focus on staying healthy for life-you’re doing exactly what matters most. Don’t stress the “6-pack” stuff-it’s overrated anyway. What matters is finding a system that works for you and keeps you moving forward. Walking is a powerful tool, and with your mindset, you’re already ahead of the game.
For weight training, let’s focus on what you can do. There are ways to adapt workouts to your strengths, especially if we prioritize machines, resistance bands, or even light dumbbell work to avoid straining your left hand. Consistency is the key here, and it sounds like you’re in it for the long haul, which is awesome.
Keep at it. It’s not about perfection-it’s about progress. If you ever need more tips or ways to adapt things further, I’m here for you! Keep crushing it.

Facts! Got to get rid of old habits to create a new but better habit. Great video. I just recently shared my journey on my page by going from 16% body fat to 11.9% body fat in just a month.
