Great info, Thanks! I went carnivore August 1st this year. I'm down 45 pounds but it's been such a roller coaster of figuring things out! Ive settled into a more animal based spot where I've added back some fruits veggies and rice and actually feel BETTER after my body adjusted to taking in carbs and sugars again. Still melting fat, and can almost see my abs for the first time at age 44! Let's Go!
Time stamp please. Some of us w/ toddlers running around the house snatching phone out of our hands, don't have time to watch entire 15mins. Thanks in advance.
great video ! i'm down 28 pounds since October 6th, 2024... I'm in a deficit of about 800 calories.. I am getting about 200-220 grams of protein from mostly whole foods, chicken , fish, some beef.. and i can honestly say , i am rarely hungry due to being satiated from all the good protein i am eating.. . also tons of fruit... I just find the cheat code for easy fat loss is just taking action and being consistent.. no magic pill... all the best
Encouraging. Im maybe 2 weeks into meat and eggs. No carbs other than an orange. Feeling really good. Weight training in hopes of retaining muscle while dropping bodyfat.
hey, you kinda made it seem as if calories are thee enemy or theyre bad, when even at a calorie deficit you still need a certain amount of calories in your diet..
AI response. Here's a comparison of ground ostrich mince and ground lean beef in terms of calories and protein content: ### Ground Ostrich Mince - **Calories**: Approximately 120-150 calories per 100 grams. - **Protein**: About 22-24 grams of protein per 100 grams. ### Ground Lean Beef - **Calories**: Approximately 250-300 calories per 100 grams (depending on the fat content, typically around 10% fat). - **Protein**: About 26-28 grams of protein per 100 grams. ### Comparison - **Calories**: Ground ostrich mince is lower in calories compared to ground lean beef. - **Protein**: Ground lean beef has a slightly higher protein content than ground ostrich mince, but the difference is not significant. Overall, if you're looking for a lower-calorie option, ground ostrich mince is preferable, while ground lean beef may offer a bit more protein.
95/5 lean ground beef DOES NOT MEAN that it's 95% protein and 5% fat and ESPECIALLY not in terms of calories! First of all, per gram, protein and carbohydrate have a total of 4 kcal. Fat has 9 kcal per gram. Therefore, EVEN IF it meant 95 grams out of 100 was actual protein and 5 grams were fat it would equal 380 kcal protein vs 45 kcal fats, which would be about 11% fat vs 89% protein. WHAT 95/5 ACTUALLY MEANS is that 95% of the material "looks" lean and the rest "looks" like chunks of fat + estimate of marble in the mostly lean parts. What you're actually translating to is much more complicated. There's water content, et cetera, let alone the fact that the cell wall of every human and other animal cell is made of lipids (i.e. fatty acids, so basically "fats") which includes muscle cells. According to Nutrition Facts site; 113grams of 95/5 ground beef you have 24g protein and 5.7g of fat, which equals 96kcals protein and 51.3kcals of fat - a 65% protein to 35% fat ratio. Of course, if you drain off the water and fat that renders out while cooking you make that ratio higher to the protein side of the equation. Not saying the advice is bad by any means; Just trying to educate a bit 😁
Most people don’t need or care about this level of detail. It’s more about getting things consistent and dialed in with calories and protein. Keep it simple.

Potato Stan Efferding also approves them
We don't have green yoghurt in South Africa. I therefore use fat free yoghurt
