Some temples in BKK like Ayuttaya temple. Of course we rebuilding after move new capital from Ayuttaya to Thonburi and BKK. We can say BKK is mini Ayuttaya also culture was been continue in a past.
Yes! Both are beautiful, but Ayutthaya had a special quality to it. Very serene. The structures were both beautiful and thought provoking!

I'm Thai, I don't know what causes you sick from food poisoning. It may be caused by not being familiar with Thai food or the food is not clean enough. or because of the weather You can only choose a hygienic restaurant or one that has freshly cooked food. to always avoid getting sick I recommend Thai medicine flying rabbit white water elemental potion Best to keep in a suitcase Can be purchased at general pharmacies.

Usually Wat Mahathat is a kind of the crucial landmark of any capital cities of Thai Kingdom in different period. Because it was built and supported by Thai kings and the stupa of Wat Mahathat will contain Buddha relics. It is represented the righteous power of the king.

Hi both,toured all over Thailand,have been at least 6 times,going back after 6yrs in February 2023,we are starting in Bangkok then making our way to chiang rai stopping off at least 6 times on train(chiang Mai to chiang rai on bus)we are actually staying in the ‘barn laund harn’in ayutthaya loved this video especially the music in the background.will be tuning in to more of your videos now that I’ve subscribed,well done!!

Nice one! I didn’t know they allowed drones there. What formalities did you have to go through?
Thanks! Wat Mahathat didn’t allow for any drone flying without special permission, but Ratchaburana didn’t have any signs up, and we asked at the entrance and they said it was ok. We have a small drone, under 249 g, the DJI Mini 3 Pro, so there are fewer restrictions. We’re glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for your support.

Really that restaurant is just in the Michelin guide. Don't have any star at all. Be in a Michelin guide and have a star or 2 or 3 is huge difference.

You haven't visited the Somdet Chao Sam Phraya Museum, Wat Chai Mongkhon and Giant Buddha in Wat Ratchaburana. and Giant Buddha in Phanan Choeng Temple
No, we did miss some things unfortunately as I was quite sick for half of the time we were in Ayutthaya. I’m not sure how we missed the giant Buddha though!

Just take a direct daily flight from Manila, Cebu or Iloilo going to Puerto Princesa Airport in Puerto Princesa City, the capital of Palawan Province , then take a ride on van, bus etc going to El Nido, Palawan. But before you explore El Nido, Palawan, I suggest you must visit first Underground River in Puerto Princesa City, it is the New Seven Wonders of the World and also Bakers Hill in Puerto Princesa City.

Is this city, Ayuthaya, worth a visit Mike? I’m trying to put together an agenda for my trip to Thailand. I’m watching this video clip of yours and I’m trying to decide if I should include this city as part of my touring agenda.
Absolutely! You can do it two ways; you can arrange a day trip from Bangkok, or take the train like we did and stay for two days or so.
How long was the train ride? Do they speak English at the ticket station?
It was about a 2-3 hour train ride. It wasn’t bad at all. Some people did speak English, and if not, they could usually help you understand what you were doing. It was a very simple process. ☺️ Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

We haven’t seen much rain recently, though it does call for it. It’s just the beginning to be the rainy season now. We’re no experts, so we don’t assume we can predict, but the rain is usually really hard but doesn’t last forever. 🤷♂️🤷♀️
