I like it and don't like it at the same time. The quality and finishing looks good . Be interesting to see what else they come out with next

Totally get where you’re coming from. Not my favorite from all their release but a move in a nice direction. I do just like seeing how much detail and “customization” goes into their pieces

Thanks! Really dug some of their previous releases but we’re just a tad too big for me, hopefully they come out with more cool stuff in the future

Nice watch, but I do not like the limited edition business model. I feel that the primary reason for it is to create an artificial sense of scarcity and trigger impulse buying. Also, their website is a turnoff. I am clearly not their intended audience.

I get you. Can definitely see that side of it. But as long as they are producing good product can’t call foul too much!

Teddy Baldassare was asked about this and he had a different perspective. Apparently it's more because these are small businesses and they have to order in batches of 50 or 100, but often cannot afford to offer more. So when they put a large order in (and then do all the QA they will normally do, etc), their business will become very uncertain until they can start selling. I can understand that for a small firm and don't hold it against them - it's when Swatch Group does it that it is more questionable.

@@johnanth But why say "this is it"? I mean, if it sells well, why not order more? No, sorry, it's a sales gimmick.

@@johnanth interesting.from what I understand, the lower your order the more expensive things become. Sure an expensive order of 100 may be more cost effective than an “affordable” order of 500 pieces. But if you’re doing it with this amount of customization I don’t believe it’s cheaper to go the smaller route. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ it could be they just found their sweet spot and don’t want to be overburdened with inventory
