Just found your channel and subscribed immediately folks as you encapsulate the very reason why I love the older Volvo cars.
I’d love to get my hands on a old 240 estate and drop in a xc90 2.9 Bi turbo engine in but those old busses have nearly all been banger raced around where I live.
Way cool, formula one used to run a toluene mix. I used to enjoy adding a can of berrymans b12 chem tool, or two in a tank in a turbo volvo or two. Fun that it also melts wasps in mid air, and cleans any oil stain on concrete. Its the skin so soft for men, basically, with 500 different uses.
Now I run a Devils own alcohol mix kit. Way better, and tuneable. Cool stuff Man, I love the passion you have for the boxes of gravy!

1 question will you use the old huff head for turboing? it could be done with a thick head gasket they sell at ACM.se or simular to make up for what is shaved of it, and bet it there to would make great power with a different cam as it flows bether as the NA cam is to ruff for turbo use
gasket that could be used? not sure how much the huff head was shaved though ;)

you can not move the ignition, on a b230 engine by turning the cover, it has sencor on the flywheel..😊😊
On an 80s one you can as the older lh2.2 fuel injection system has a hall effect sensor on the distributor

Yoo drifts, how do you adjust the distributor? I have a 1990 760T w/ LH2.4 b230ft, I know LH2.2 is super different from 2.4
Lh2.4 static timing cannot be adjusted ! Only on lh2.2 because it has the crank trigger on the distributor also called a hall effect sensor . Lh2.4 has an actual crank position sensor
@@driftsnlifts ahh okay, I've been having a slight misfire on mine at idle. I've done distributor, cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires last thing I'm gonna try to do is IPD Turbo cam and check timing aswell unless there's something else I'm forgetting

What turbo do you have on that thing? And how boost?
Please listen: rotating the distributor does NOTHING to your timing. ALL it can do is make your spark quality worse and/or fire the wrong cylinder at the wrong time, worst case. Trust me.
Why are everybody running with the m46 and not the m90 gearbox

Since you're building a new engine for the new N/A car maybe put the old N/A engine from Ms.Huff into the panel wagon?
the engine from miss huff was to be upgraded with the 2.5L marine crank and a bether head for the bigger displacement, at least as i have understood it, even if taking a new block and keeping the old huff engine would be cool. and the head on huff now is to shaved for turbo us unless he get a thick gasket
