Stripped down Bad Batch has MAJOR black Airforce activity
Facts

The looks of the show is just insane. I hope they do more in the future. The clone wars era and a little after that is so interesting
Fr man. It seems like they don't do a lot of exploring of during the clone wars. Every Star wars video game recently has been set years after the clone wars. And no live action shows of the clone wars.
Unless everyone dies I can see The Bad Batch turning into a new show, bit like how Rebels picked up elements of The Clone Wars but hopefully keeping the CW/BB art direction because God damn the art for this and latter Clone Wars is sublime.
I honestly hope not. Between Rebels, Kenobi, Bad Batch and Andor, we've seen plenty of this time period already. I'd prefer treading new ground.
the station reminded me of High Charity from Halo 2
My thoughts exactly!!!
That explains why it looks so familiar to me
It’s based off of concept art for the Death Star
Remember it just hovering over the ring while playing, the veiw.
Yeah same here
I think the legacy of the show may be the importance of soldiers serving with conscience. History has shown us what horrors have been unleashed with blind obedience and the indifference of suffering.
War is kill or be killed go ask the front line soldiers in Ukraine on both sides how there conscience is well shooting and killing other people you know what there gonna say??? I could tell you but I rather you ask or ask any veteran of combat actual combat. That's all I'm gonna say
Yeah, killing does not help your conscience, ask all the homeless vets all over the world
Weird, that shot of mount Tantiss from space really makes it look like a bulls eye… Kinda makes you think they’re foreshadowing something…
I thought it was just a cool transition to the vault, but cool take

I know the feeling. It really hurts to have a good series end while bad ones keep going.
Like Lower Decks ending because Kurtzman can't handle the fact the show he had the least involvement was doing better than his forced pet projects.
It wouldn't surprise me though if Disney is making them end for the same reasons it ends every good series it gets. Saving money as contracts come up with a longer series. So they end a show to avoid it or roll them into something else with a title change. Thus the contracts are for a "new" show.
Aw, Lower Decks has ended!?
I'm not even a Star Trek fan and I really enjoyed that show.
I think the story is just coming to an end. This feels like a natural progression of the plot imo.
@@treydanthat’s what I was thinking. I would prefer to have a good show that ends on a high note, than to have a good show that is over extended and ends up ruining the show.

ECHO FINALLY DID SOMETHING
AYYYY
Hella sad wont lie
I wonder how long Palpatine had been building Imperial bases and stations. It feels like he had some of these things roll out almost immediately after taking over.
There's a reason the imperial anthem played when "The Grand army of the Republic" was shown at the end of Episode 2.
I'm gonna miss it, I rarely enjoy modern star wars
Don't be sad that it is gone, be happy that you were around to enjoy it. We won't know if another show will hit like this again.
Real..
This show is beautiful I agree. It's so well directed and art directed.
Great episode. The tension was off the scale as they waited for Echo to do his stuff. Im going to miss the Bad Batch.
"The cavalry has arrived" was the Bad Batch's very first line, delivered by Wrecker in the Season 7 premiere of the Clone Wars. I think it's a hint that Wrecker will die.
And I wanted this show to be as long as rebels at least. I feel like I’m just getting invested in what the squad can do if they are fully reunited which looks like it’s never going to happen
Yeah, I have to admit that I thought this show was going to be a send off for the Clone Troopers given what we see in the first two seasons. Heck, every Bad Batch fan thought so. Yet they start to transition away from it including killing off most of the Clone Underground in Season 3. And other fans no doubt wish that we could have seen things from Rex and Echo’s POV like when we saw Echo and Gregor rescue Howzer and when Rex and Howzer captured CX-1.
Now I’m questioning the wisdom of the creation of Clone Force 99 in the first place. Don’t get me wrong, I like these guys, but given how in Star Wars shows we keep getting main casts with diverse species and personalities, the Bad Batch is a Clone version of that. They look slightly different from regular Clones and they have more distinct personalities and special abilities.
It makes me wonder if media doesn’t like to tell stories from the POV of grunts. Look at Mecha Military Anime like Gundam for instance. The main character is usually someone younger than the average soldier who’s an ace and pilots a special mecha. We never see things from the perspective of regular units. Heck, look at military fiction nowadays and most of it covers special forces or elite units.
I guess I’m just feeling a little disappointed that we aren’t going to get a Clone Rebellion and feel like Project Necromancer and the Sequels might have had a bit much of an influence on the show. I just keep wishing we could get a Clone Trooper story like Twilight Company from the first Star Wars Battlefront novel, but frankly it feels like in Star Wars you have to be Force-Sensitive, a Pilot, or a Bounty Hunter to be a main character.
The show was called the bad batch, not the generic clones. What did you expect?
I feel like a show with a grunt as a main character would be boring af. Characters need to have something about them that makes them interesting. Also what did you expect from a show called The Bad Batch?
Grunts as main characters: umbaria arc, the one with slick as a traitor, about a third of the clone wars is from the clones, aka the grujts
@@lego_kiz1148 k fair point but in this time period where the empire is getting rid of clones what more do you want to see. We know clones lose and get replaced by storm troopers. Do you really want a show where the bad guys win?
First of all, as sad as it would be to see my favorite characters in Fiction lose to the Galactic Empire, at least I would be seeing them.
Second, of course priority one for the show is to cover its titular characters, but we were still able to see life for the other Clones via the POV of Crosshair in the Empire and Echo in the Clone Underground every few episodes. But now Crosshair is back with his team and with the Clone Underground nearly wiped out, we’ve had nothing from the remnants since the halfway point of the third season. Granted we still get episodes concentrating on an outside character, Emerie Karr, but we’ve only seen her interact with those kids and have gotten no update on conditions for the Clones held on Tantiss.
I’m honestly wondering how the show would be going if it wasn’t trying to show Palpatine’s early attempts to clone himself. I suppose for starters Omega would be some regular kid or even a Jedi Youngling instead of a special Fett Clone. Without Hemlock utilizing Clones for Project Necromancer, I wonder if they would have had Rampart be defeated in Season 2 or if they would find another villain to replace him?
Factions compared idea sci fi insect swarm. Such as Tyranids, arachnids, Zerg, rachni, terminids.

@@GunsAndAmmo3from half life sure 👍
if everyone from clone force 99 does indeed die I swear if omega doesn’t get a piece from all of their armor to make a sorta combination between all four of them and maybe tech, I’d be very mad if it doesn’t happen >:(
Kinda like how I think Boba Fetts armor was Jangos
Omega needs to have something similar with all the bad batch
@@KelgorothTheFinalShape exactly!
One thing that is big picture that is kinda easy to over look is the fact that if the end is they just rescue Omega is that they straight stop Palpatines Cloning plans. So by just doing a small thing of helping Omega and the clones at Mt Tantis they are directly responsible for the existence of Rey and delaying the resurrection of the Emperor.
I have a feeling this is not the last we will see of the clones and TBB, or whoever is left of them. This is a popular show and Disney and Lucasfilm would be remiss to not continue this in some way. We haven’t seen enough of what will happen to the clones. That can be a series in itself. I hope Filoni and Co have already begun on the next series and will announce in Japan SWC 2025!
I think the batch will be able to save their other brothers under hemlock control as well as omega and the children
Glad that you're back justin, cant wait for tales of the empire
I feel like this show has run its course. The same formula runs through a lot of episodes, and that will make it get old much quicker. I think ultimately this will tie into why Palpatine was never really able to achieve the kind of clones he needed to cheat death and keep all his powers.
It's just brilliant.
I feel fortunate that we are constantly getting new Star Wars content.
A ventress show and her teaching Omega is something I seriously need to see.
Ventress is my favorite Star Wars character so I’m biased towards agreeing but let’s be fr we need to leave some things ambiguous cause the last time someone felt the need to keep her story going longer than needed it ended up starting the most nonsensical romance in the series and then her getting murked 😭😭
I'm wondering what the next show will be and the plans after that. Between TCW and Rebels, you have a pretty complete storyline leading into the Mandoverse. Bad Batch and TOTJ, (and hopefully TOTE), are great but they are more additions to this overarching story, expanding it versus branching off and doing its own thing. Which I'm not saying is bad but eventually the timeline gap between TCW and Rebels will be filled and I'm interested to see where animated star wars goes from there. Personally I really want to see a show for Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Satine before TPM, but I'm not sure that'll happen until all of Mandalorian is done fleshing out the lore. I could see an animated show either in the High Republic era or Mandoverse. I definitely see a Ninth Jedi show being announced at Star Wars celebration next year. However, I think a Star Wars animated show that would help branch out the timeline the most would be released in conjunction with the DOTJ movie. Have Manigold make that movie and set the foundation for that era and then have an animated show build off of that structure, incorporating stuff like the Bendu, Mortis, and Peridea.
I really hope that we get another animated series or movie following rex's little clone rebellion. It could show them attempt to assist their fellow clones as they get let go and replaced by the empire, ultimately leading to a clone uprising that would of course fail, but with some clones surviving and ultimately going into hiding throughout the galaxy.
The stripped down armour looks so good
I loved seeing how the logistics of the space station worked. I love the new imperial K2SO inspired utility droid. I very much enjoyed seeing how the astromecs get onto the science ship. Also liked that they have some rouge one orange creates
Nice ending of asking us want we think of coruscant.
Same man I’m gonna be sad when it’s over 😭😭😭💯🐐
I know it’s very likely not going to happen but I’m still holding out a small sliver of hope that a character from the Republic Commando novels will make a cameo 😭
The animation really has been top notch in this series. A step up even from the Clone Wars.
Brotherhood
Love where the finale is going.
We’re leading into another series. I’m sure of it. Just not sure what it will focus on.
The cavalry arrives could mean multiple things, could be more bad guys showing up too.
I just wanted some more stuff about scorch and maybe some other delta squad members could show up, it would make sense for Sev to be part of Rex's rebels clones for example
Pretty sure it will run into something else with a pivot to other characters, like how we went from clone wars to bad batch
I feel like it would be cool if we could get a series that follows certain squads or legions for like an episode or 2.
#askEck this might be a long one, but the short of it is, what was baby Yoda doing right before the mandalorian?
In the show we see him being held by what seems to be a band of pirates, and he had to have been there for some time and in the care of them for the local warlord to know of his location and so many bounty hunters to have his tracker, so these pirates had to have been attached to him in some way and were protecting him despite the obvious bounty on baby Yoda's head. So these pirates took care of him and protected him before the mandalorian just came and killed them all and kidnapped baby yoda
I don’t want this show to end either… animated Star Wars is the only thing I actually like to sit down and watch now.
The camera angles in this episode were great. I dont know if its anyone special behind the scenes the the animated stuffs art direction and everything else is always good
This is a really good video. Yeah tbh what is the legacy lol. It's good TV but like what big impact does it have in the Star Wars universe
Rampart is sporting the Kurt Russel style of beard.
Tbh I completely agree, when the show ended it didn’t feel like the show was finished. It felt like there would be another season, or even a whole other arc. The ending WAS good. But I think it’s too soon to see bad batch leave.
I kind of hope we get another clone wars type spin off series. Perhaps staring omega as the main character, or rex and echo.
With yesterdays episode I realized thatched is one of the most solid animated Star Wars seasons. Only a few villain of the week (filler episodes) I really connected with omega and crosshair this season. And everything seems to revolve around mt. Tantiss.
The only clone wars season which didn’t have a bad arc was season 2 and it also doesn’t have the high highs as the later CW seasons. So for me personally it’s one of the best Star Wars animated seasons ever
I have a lore Question : Most of the time when Hyperspace fails in the Movies or Series the People come out of Hyperspace near habitable Planets or Moons when in reality most of the Planets and Moons dont suport life or Oxygen. Is there an "in Universes" Explanation to this?Maybe the Hyperdrive has a savety Feature that ensures they get near a life supporting Planet or Moon?
sorry for my bad english
I'm scared for Echo. the way they gave him this mission has me worried
I really do hope that the finale episode is 60 minutes.
With everything that needs to be wrapped up. 30 minutes isn't going to be enough
All things come to an end
yeah
I’m gonna miss this show. I still hold out for a galactic civil war show with this animation style.
Hopefully may the fourth will have some announcements on what comes next given tales of Jedi/sith is all dropping so that won't be next show long term. Would they jump back to high Republic to link with Acolyte or jump forward to post Jedi Mando era?
A gem in a sea of rocks
Classic review, thanks for the refreshing take - I agree the show has been impressive but leaving a lot of questions for the future.
I thought Omega's storyline was super interesting, she seems to be taking a level of agency we haven't seen yet - kinda scary but familiar.
Also Echo needed a bigger shout - he was the spotlight clone this episode and his trick with the droid chute was super fun, great callback to ANH sandcrawler.
I want to see a tales of the Separatists show

@@chadbrad8100 Did you even watch the video? Or at least the part I timestamped because my comment is obviously a joke because he said the word "reg"
Is it just me or did I hear a bit of a Vader breath at the end of the episode
I can't wait for it to end.
I think that Echo is going to contact the rebellion when the bad batch are in their time of struggle, and that’s when we will see them.
Idk if that means Wolf or some others will join and have a showdown.
Hey Eck, there is a ship from the clone wars episode where Ahsoka is with the Jedi padawans. It looks like the Tantive 4 but has a different design. What is the name of it? I’ve been trying to find it.
Ask Eck: What’s the difference between Inquisitor, Emperor’s Hand, Dark Side Adept, Dark Acolyte and all of the other force sensitive servants of Palpatine from Legends?
Two episodes left
I’m hopping the bad batch will cross over with a new show that would be epic❤
Just want to throw this out there: the Republic used non-clone admirals. In the event of a large-scale Clone rebellion, they may need someone with a specific skillset the clones don't have. Rampart is primed to take the position, and his distrust of clones would only make for a more interesting dynamic...
I thought there were rumors going around that the show was going to split into two new shows. Ventres makes it clear that they can't keep her safe.
❤
I have a feeling that the show might end… might end with the bad batch attacking Tantiss with Rex and Howzer and rescuing some of there brothers and Omega, they find out about what there brothers have had done to them and what could be coming and decide to level the complex but can’t get to the extraction point omega and Rex escape and the Batch die’s within the facility along with the cloning technology and set back the emperor’s plans for decades (I hope I’m wrong because I want these characters to have a life in the outer rim)
This could potentially set up a clone rebellion arc as a new show or we follow new characters or maybe Ventris helping build the path again this all a theory which
Awesome video and excited to see what comes next 🙂
Tales of the empire may bring this up
I think it will end very sad…..
do you think there is any hope for another short-run show in this style following the Rex and Echo's clone revolution / rescue?
Rampart looks good with a beard, to bad he's such a smart-ass.
Hi Eck,
I'll be sad to see series 3 ending in just a couple of episodes as well. The journey with the Bad Batch doesn't feel stale to me at all, and I really want more episodes. Being honest, I haven't felt that way about certain other Disney SW shows (i.e Kenobi). I ike the dynamic between Crosshair and Omega, building on a more parental or big brother to little sister relationship. I always felt he was going to get a redemption arc at some point. It was good to see Rampart in the latest episode too, especially his complaint about receiving a captain's uniform, when he still regards himself as a vice admiral despite being sentanced to hard labour. Some mysteries, like did Echo surive and is he the operative working for Hemlock might crop up, although I suspect he is dead by this point. He alsways seemd like the glue holding the Bad Batch together.
I think we’re moving towards a larger clone rebellion. In my mind the empire in the new canon has to be doing more to really be seen as a threat. And a crazy battle that leaves only Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe standing would contribute towards that.
If only they did a movie after the show
Echo is going to get the Hardcase treatment. 😭
Eh i dunno I mean sure I would have loved to get more bad batch but at the same time I'd rather them end the show while it's still good and new than drag it on past what it was meaningfully meant to do. Sometimes a show can really suffer from not making effective use of its time and lagging in the later seasons and I wouldn't want to see that happen to Bad Batch
I don't want it to end either. It's been too good.
Part of the problem with evaluating The Bad Batch is that it isn’t strictly speaking it’s own entity. The legacy of The Bad Batch is really the legacy of The Clone Wars- I mean, the first episode alone tells you that much. The Bad Batch has its own characters, its own unique stories, and its own spin on the 3D art style, but at the end of the day it is and always has been The Clone Wars season 8. It only exists because of The Clone Wars, and its narrative threads are inexorably tied back into that show- specifically, the *end* of the Clone Wars.
The Bad Batch’s legacy will not be a happy one. The show is incredibly melancholic, and has been getting moreso as the seasons have gone on. There was never going to be a Clone Rebellion- there never could be, and frankly I don’t think the show would have been better for it. This isn’t a story of triumphant rebels defying the odds, or even about raging against the dying of the light. The Bad Batch is a show about soldiers after the war, about a galaxy that’s moved on and doesn’t need them anymore. It’s about the rise of the Empire, about its all-consuming and all-destroying might. It’s the story of how the Republic lost.
I don’t expect many of our heroes to survive the finale. Tantiss might get destroyed, and that would be a victory, but I’m not even sure that’s a guarantee. The whole arc of The Bad Batch has seen things get worse, not better, and the natural conclusion of such a story is pretty bleak. Omega’s a kid, so she’ll probably get to escape, and we know Rex gets away, but other than that I’m expecting the aftermath to be pretty grim. Here’s hoping we get some justice on the way out.
I think they’re gonna save omega next episode, and then come back to demolish the tantiss operation in the finale. Which, I hope, will lead into another sequel show revolving around Rex, echo, and the clone revolution which is why echo might’ve had way less screen time this season as they’re saving it
Would be cool if Rex and other clones arrive with an old Venator that they patched up together to destroy tantiss by orbital bombardment at the end.
yes it would be really cool
unfortunately venators require a really big crew to keep operational along with a lot of fuel and equipment which they dont seem to have
at least the Remora (the ship used by the clone rebellion people) has a really nice design so thats something at least
Well about that.... i would like to see The Bad Bach rescueing all the children of the Vault, and the clones from Mount Tantis and see Ventris taking the kids to teach them in to the force.. That could be a great show for the future
The takeaway from this Series is that we need to honor our veterans, recognize the injured, and those suffering from PTSD. It's unfortunate that the Empire didn't care for the clones, and in a similar way, our government doesn't treat our vets and wounded vets properly. Just like the clone on the street asking for credits from Obi-Wan, many of our vets are also homeless and struggling. ArTor Essay illustrate this in his video "The Invisible Wounds of The Bad Batch".
Someone mentioned that these last episodes will be the true end of The Clone Wars and now I'm real sad. The missions... the nightmares... They're finally over. May the Jedi and the clones rest in peace
I enjouyed them but feel really sad when they had to do away all theyre markings on the atmor since its another sign that it mught not end well.
I too want The Bad Batch to last a few seasons and have a movie and a game
I suspect Disney will never give us the clone rebellion since they don't want us to have fun.
probably going to be a clone rebellion show
This season has been a slow burn, but being the last season, and near the end of the show, it will go our with a Death star size Boom, to set up the next series. can't wait, but it will be sad that its coming to an end.
Them removing their paint from their armor made me have feels but in some shoots their armor look sleek as hell like special forces or dark troopers
prediction: everyone but omega dies trying to save her after obtaining much of her blood for midichlorian transfer.
I WANT MORE, and i know i shouldn't.... -everyone talking about clones, this includes me ofc.
What about commander Cody we haven’t seen him for awhile?
With enough fan reaction maybe we can get a cartoon or live action movie.
They should finish every clone characters story in: Tales of the clones? Imagen that
not enough tech
My big question is just how are they going to make it believable that project resurrection etc takes another 50 years to complete if it already seems so close to completion by now. Presumably the Bad Batch are going to have to do some serious damage in order to set Palpatines pet project back to the dark ages.
