It is HAAAAARD to find a group. Even harder to find a group that will work well with you: It's worth it though if you can find one, personal experience on that
"I know 2 things. To hit hard. And to pray hard" As a guy from a small town in Southern Appalachia.. this is wildly accurate for 80% of our population 😅😅
The kobold with the "Wand of Orcus" getting his neck fucking snapped by Sildri was some of the funniest shit I've ever seen in a dnd game. Jacob does such a good job with npcs.
Maybe he explains it later in the episode but I wonder what Colton hoped to achieve by whipping the "rider" when it clearly was the one thing the dragon cared about. 🤣 The whole thing could only ever have ONE consequence. 😅
That "my gods is that the wand of orcus" delivery was so funny hahaha man I love this campaign, catching up with this and fall out, this is by far my favorite though. Just a good time every single episode.
Colton just wants to keep having deaths in the party to the point i thinks it's some goal he want to have. XD dying of laughter and another freezes away.
Spoiler We witnessed a miracle! 2 people returned from the dead with nothing but a punch for the first one and a bandaid around the broken neck for the second one! Death is truly meaningless 😆 PS: Happy New Year, Arcane Arcade ❤️
Man, it's hard to decide. I've watched this one a lot, but I think to me, the funniest bit is right at the end, 3:29:47 . Nass literally passing onto the next life at the sight of Arveriaturis is comedy gold, and I also died. XD
i actually skipped episodes and came from the episode where she purchased a shield, to this episode where said shields acquisition was in question, kinda wild.
I never heard the word chowder. After looking it up, it seems to be an American English word but I can not stop thinking it's a mix of chalk and powder. It creeps me out every time someone eats chowder.
*SPOILER* . . . . . . . . . . When I buyed this module and star reading chapter 2 I read about Arveiaturace's encounter and I can not imagine another level of encounter for my party definitely
Awww... you think my behind is pretty. I'm flattered! (you edited out the "2nd break" so I wouldn't have to worry my "pretty little behind" timestamp 1:32:09)
From Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft. It's has rules for being a dhampir (Kezira), reborn, and a hexblood which is kind of a hag. These are all referred to as custom lineages, which replaces the original race such as elf and gives them other abilities.
Jeanne is a female name, French origin. Pronounced closely sounding like to John. A lot like your pronunciation. I'm curious of the spelling of this male name is it spelled Jean or...?
☹️ I wish DM’s weren’t such pussies when it comes to player deaths. The whole random Macguffin that brings characters back after an emotional death is one of my pet-peeves and makes me want to stop watching a series.
Uh, its because the players have spent hours making their backstory and the DM had to do a bunch of work to work it into the game and they don't want that work to go to waste?
@@mafiablokes Yeah I get that, but almost all DM's tune their stories to perfectly fit that character, and they don't want that character to die after doing all that. Also Colton's last character literally died two session prior, Jacob would just be a bad DM if he killed his character off again and forced him to work on ANOTHER full backstory for the third time in 1 month
@@crimsoncorrosion7448 I guess our philosophies in this regard of the game just differs. For me, I’d be perfectly fine making another character and would feel kinda patronised and infantilised if the DM would magically find a way for me to somehow not die in a situation where I totally should. I also find it kinda irresponsible from a DM to make a character’s backstory so ingrained into the plot that it would completely derail if they were to die
@@mafiablokes ok, that's fine, you can play you're games without much important backstory for your characters to fit into the game, but come on, the majority of experienced dms do not want their players to die. especially when that same person died two games prior. Also if you think about it, since Sildri got blinded, it was actually more of a detriment than if they just let them be alive, because they had ways to revive them otherwise.
I love you guys. I'm from the hood of Miami and never played dnd. I would really love to.
Find some guys/gals to play with my dude, it’s a great way to spend your free time 💪😤
if you got a discord id highly recommend checking out some dnd servers your sure to find something

This whole campaign has been dragons killing Colton's characters.

i know this is so old it may never be seen but all i can think of with the orb is
A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON

2:55 start
*Spoiler for the episode*
I've been watching this campaign over the past week or 2, and it's the first of your campaigns I'm watching
I love the description of how being near Immolation makes the other characters feel safe thats so cute for Paladin auras im going to cry
It cold. The end.
I swear, every Icewind Dale campaign has a PC death at the hand of Arveiaturace after attacking her corpse friend
cool thing, the body on Arveiaturace's back actually has a magical saddle that makes its head turn to look where she's looking
Turns out even the mightiest of foes are no match for 4 crits
That "my gods is that the wand of orcus" delivery was so funny hahaha man I love this campaign, catching up with this and fall out, this is by far my favorite though. Just a good time every single episode.
Now just waiting for episode 15... I'm so excited and can't wait
Colton. Who cursed you?!
Imagine if the Frost Troll just pulled out a spell book and cast power word kill
Colton just wants to keep having deaths in the party to the point i thinks it's some goal he want to have. XD dying of laughter and another freezes away.

I've got to know Jacobs definition of freezing around the start of the video
It... Guys... I don't think it went up on Saturday
No I'm caught up! Now I wait I guess...
AGREED! WHEN WILL THE NEXT EPISODE COME OUT
Colton dying twice within 5 sessions is hilarious
Oh hey, one of my leopard geckos is named Jean! After Picard haha.

3:08:01 What's the BGM titled here?
Not Immolation continuing to essentially deadname Sildri
Anything between -10 and -40 is barely a difference since its so much dryer usually
This turned into the ending of Frozen. 😆
Yayyyyyy
Yeyyyyyy

Anyone care to help me out with what race/existance Lazarous is? Is it something homebrewed or official?
he's some sort of elf (dont know what subrace) but mechanically he's a reborn

@@shadowforce4 Thanks, I don't play 5e so haven't read the books but I was very curious if it was homebrew or in published material.
@@Cragified yes he's a reborn from the lineages which is super cool
