this game I would spend hours playing, my parents I'm not even lying had to turn off the power to the entire house to get me off the PlayStation cuz of this game, unplugging it and hiding the disc was not enough to get me to get off the game

Sadly, this and Rumble Racing is the last greatest thing that you ever play and you'll never found it again in a current console games. Still hoping there will be another series like this from EA.
Sadly even in 2024, EA never allow it to happen due to their own greediness on money focused gameplays.
Damn I miss these games. Nascar license, fun gameplay, awesome graphics for PSONE era, Jess Harnell in-game commentary, and freaking awesome soundtracks from Derek Trucks 🔥🔥🔥
Wish Harnell also commentating real life NASCAR races to replace Rick Allen, not Leigh Diffey.

Coming back to this, it's interesting to see that a number of the car models were reused and re-tweaked for Rumble Racing.
I grinded this game till the end I think. I spent so much time playing it. Definitely remember getting to elite cars

I had asked my mom to buy me a Grand Turismo game for my PS1. And when she came home she brought me this.
I was pissed at first, but actualy enjoyed the game the more i was playing.

I am 23 and use to play this game so so much as a kid and I have looked up the bits I remember vaguely for 5+ years and I have just found it. OMG the nostalgia is more than I have had with any other ps1 game
I love how this game has all Winston Cup and Craftsman Truck Series Drivers.
Also what I love is that EA SPORTS have included the Legends from NASCAR '99 and NASCAR 2000.
The secret cars like the 'Chicken Truck' or 'Jet Car' are hillarious.
What also like is the fact, that when the categories are changed from rookie to pro or elite, the look of the cars will change.

NASCAR RUMBLE even in 2024 is still one of the best NASCAR games of all time. Right behind all NASCAR THUNDER games from 2002 to 2004. The EA SPORTS CAR, JET CAR, and Chicken Truck all looked amazing on ELITE class cars.

So is this basically Rumble Racing before Ruble Racing? Elite Car models are the same as Rumble Racing, The Jet Car Elete is the yellow turbine car and the RV is the same.. Heck the sounds are the same aswerll
