@@cwdpond planning a raised pond approximately 4000 ltr for Koi Any pointers where is best to learn about filtration I require ? I know this is important to get correct thanks.
@cwdpond happy days mate hoping to move into the new property next week i did email you a few weeks ago it will be a 3m x 2.6m x 1m with 2 windows did want to ask is it best to go with a concrete base or could i go with a type 1 and flag base ? Cheers
Whats the reason behind not doing a bead all around , which is required for car windscreens? Seems a bit odd to me that you just add a few dots? I know the glass only needs to be held in place while the pond is empty, and when the pond is full the pressure from the water holds the glass in place, but still, wouldnt it still be worth doing a thin bead all around just in case, so theres no water ingress between the wood and the glass?
We do explain it in the video, blobs leave space for water to escape, a bead will keep water sat there with nowhere to go Mypond ms300 is very strong and as i also mention in the video you could run and jump into the glass 24 hours later and it would hold 😁
Nice job thumbs up from me, interesting new take on a fish pond. only watched because of thumb nail no interest in fish and won’t be trying that as a diy project due to weight of the glass ( how heavy).
I'm getting ready to build my own above ground pond just like yours and these videos have been so helpful and inspirational. Can't thank you enough!
Great job well done.
@@brianramsay6866 thankyou 😁💪

Love it! 👏👏👏👏
I wish I had a blank canvas so I could start again. My pond is looking a bit rubbish now, and one of these would look awesome.
Never to late, last week I had a 1500 liter pond. 4 skips, and 30 sleepers, later I have a 25000 liter pond😂
@@ianharfoot1119 great effort!!

Do you ever get leaks from the window
Never had 1 yet fitting it this way
Question, why not a continues bead of silicone. But you do dots. Wouldn’t water find the gaps but not if it were continuous?

Excellent job How much for that size pond sleepers only, many thanks in advance. 😊
We don't do sleepers only kit, this kit is around £4500
Nice how much is that all in ?
£4500 for the kit, £700 for glass size upgrade with built in jumpguard, £3000 on filters, drain & fittings, £300 for the water feature
Soon adds up!
