I started with a VSO. He just threw a slew of claims at the VA. Most got denied. He retired and the new guy refused to submit any claims unless they were guaranteed wins (no such thing) he wouldn't file a claim for a friend who had a heat stroke while on active duty. I decided to get educated and tackle the bear on my own. I am now at 100% thanks to UA-cam and lots of research. It didn't cost a dime just hours of videos. I have friends all me to help them and i tell them they have to help themselves and that I can only give them guidance. It's gonna cost you your time. It's worth it.

I am at 90 now doing all my research with a VFW VSO submitting my paperwork...I started in 21 after getting out in 99...I just did an intent to file Sept 14th on my way to the finish line!!

@@dogboydet that's awesome. Use those secondary claims. They'll help you more than you think. Also file high value claims (claims that offer higher ratings) 90 to 95 is a lot harder than it sounds. Stay focused and it'll be easy. Look up the 38cfr for the guidelines

I 1000 percent agree with this whole statement 💯!! Be careful using VSO 's or Vet Centers !! Some will be jealous of your possible upcoming/pending 100 percent. Use your own judgement. If you can do it on your own with a little bit of research and time then I suggest that. Finally if you hear about or can find a good Lawyer for VA claims then do that. Especially if you don't have to pay them until you are awarded your new payable benefits. Nuff said.

Utilized a VFW VSO who spent more time talking about all his owies and 100% rating. Gave forms to prepare and submit. Notified they were wrong forms. Went to the many self help You Tube sites in an attempt to educate myself. Claims in the que and waiting to see if I successfully navigated the system. Listened to many $$$promotional sites, some ok. Passed your up until yesterday. I should have tuned into your posts before I submitted my claims. You might have one of the one or two most credible self help sites on the tube. Keep helping those Warriors get back home safely.

I just joined the Grandmaster program from the Masters program! I see what I get is worth $10,000s easy, 1 nexus letter i was told last month $3500 from some crook! So for just $497.00, plus Jordan really does care about veterans, his program has made my Dr jobs a whole lot easier with nexus statements. I have a great Dr if you don't have one, I'm in Bradenton, FL, he works over the phone also for stuff like headaches, sleep apnea, ptsd and will write your meds & nexus statements if needed? So hit me up and I will get back to you, if you need a Dr?

I'm prob an outlier but tbh, I've had nothing but good experiences with VSOs. First initial claim through a VSO came back at 70%. Filed for an increase 8 years later by myself and everything came back as continued. Then decided to go with a VSO again for a supplementary claim and went straight up to 100% P&T SMC-S and only took roughly 3 months. Of course it also involved me doing a ridiculous amount of research and planning, knowing exactly how to approach the issue and telling the VSO exactly what I needed to be done and providing them with all relevant evidence and lay statements up front.

Hello hello ...I have been very fortunate to have had excellent experiences with VSO, since I have been in Austin. Videos that you put up and others like it, have given me the education needed to know what to ask of the VSO. Also, watching your videos has helped me know right away if the VSO has my best interest in mind. I have gone from 10% in September 2022 to 90% in September 2023. Now I am going through the TDIU review process. Side note, I don't know if it's because of Texas but my VA raters have been on it. So far anything that should be submitted by the VA rater due to evidence gathered, has been presented to me. My claim started out as anxiety and depression and has resulted in PTSD 70% ,and now TDIU consideration. All done by the VA, as it should be. Thank you, Jordan for putting me on the right path. Good luck to all.

Let me add this as an example of my VSO-positive encounter. When the VA submitted a request for filing a claim for migraines, my VSO said to remove that request until I had develope the claim. She asked if I had medical docs to support a migraine claim and if not get a diagnosis first. On her recommendation, I went to the C&P exam anyway because of the VA setting up the appointment. The eval was over in 10 minutes. Whata joke it was and a waste of my time. She has been the only VSO I would ask to do anything more than scan and review my forms for accuracy.

I retired Aug 1st and used a VSO to get my claim in back in April. Right months later still waiting on a VA decision. In hindsight the VSO helping me really only did the paperwork. After watching many videos on the process I would have claimed more. My VSO didn't look at my medical records nor did they really ask me much. They gave me a piece of paper with a person on it and said circle any areas you had issues with and that was it. They never mentioned secondary conditions and more. They meant well but probably not the best service which might cost me.....

Two copies to the regional VSO in Houston, two to Audie Murphy VA in San Antonio, and two to the intake center in Janesville, Wisconsin. The seventh copy was/wasn't a full packet. I dont remembe, that one was with my wifes birth certificate, my stepson's birth certificate, and every single form has a foreign address, phone number, as well as my dependents are foreigners. What, they cant put two+2= That I'm not stateside? Plus all of the phone calls giving them the same information pertaining to my cliam. I even have one of their employees stating that they'll just throw the forms away if they think that they don't need it. I personally ask everybody that answered my call if it was being recorded so that I hvae evidence for the board. Stand your ground because thtas whta its going to come to.

You should watch all of these videos, learn the process, and start filing. If you haven't done it yet, call the VA TODAY and file an intent to file. This will lock in your date. VSOs don't work directly for the VA. I am a VSO and I work for my county, not the VA. While we don't charge the veteran for our services, we still work hard for our veterans. A lot of our veterans do not know how or don't have computers to apply on their own. I think it is really wrong to tell your audience that they should not use a VSO, and sort of irresponsible. I liked what you were saying in previous videos but, this is not good to tell folks. Maybe the younger veterans can do this on their own, but elderly veterans in rural areas would be left out of the process. Think of ALL your audience, not just your generation.

I hear you but I think there is a lot of truth to what he is saying, my VSO had me go through an appeal process which took months. Based on my situation I was lil doubtful of that decision but I trusted he was doing the right thing

You’d are going to need to know the VA rating process for sure, there is more MEB specific training that is needed as well though, a former VACA graduate who won 100% P&T is creating that course and it’s going to launch within the next couple months.
Wish I could offer that sooner

When given the correct context, parameters and a final human check from someone who knows what they’re doing, GPT can get pretty good results.
Half the battle with the VA though is knowing how to get suggestive while maintaining tight management and awareness of egos. Something GPT fails at massively

According to the M21-1, and VA Form 21-22a, all you need to do is contact the VA and tell them that you don't want [insert name] to represent you anymore.
Express or implicit revocation are terms I saw the VA use.

Heard you can file the same claim within a year and still be back paid from initial intent, one vet I talked to a few weeks ago told me he did it for 10 years and then they finally gave him 💯 and back paid him over 400k

    • @christopheramador9886
      @christopheramador9886 8 місяців тому

It's an intent to file. That's where the backpay will stop, I believe, but I'm not 100% sure on that, because when you're serving they say that it goes back to the date of the initial paperwork.
