This video explains the difference between using a challenger op orbital extractor vs using a rotary extraction machine to clean carpet. You will generally get better results easier with a challenger op.

Great sound advice. It is a testament to your honesty!
I am 74 years old and started carpet cleaning after a serious bout with cancer. Previously a custom home builder but it is physically beyond my ability now, not that carpet cleaning is easy!
The Orbiter machine is so much easier on my senior body I am able to clean a 3,000 sq. Ft. Office in one day with my wife vacuuming ahead of me.much easer than my rotatory on my senior body.

I no longer use any orbital equipment. The rotary is really killing it. I enjoy the quality much more. It’s also a mild relaxing feeling just watching the machine run. No more clattering.
