So this is a quick review and impressions video I made on the newly redesigned Rival RB1 2.0 bag gloves. These are not mine so I did not get the chance to go really in-depth with them. It can be found on the rival website for about $109 CAD.

I had a pair of those. The glove itself felt great, but I hated the long strap. It was a pain in the ass to do up the strap on the second glove once you had one on already.

I wasn’t a big fan of those gloves. They were harder foam or as you said high density foam. As you said a long loop wrap that was a pain to seal it on your own. Yes I would always hit my thumb with those gloves. After less than a year of using those gloves I just threw them in the 🗑! Unfortunately not the best of Rival boxing 🥊!
That Boxing Guy I needed a fight glove 🥊 10oz for the bag yet unfortunately those weren’t like the real fight gloves though. I’ll just go with the rival pro fight gloves for bag work and mitt work next time.
stumbled on this again ..... I am thinking of getting a new pair of these, as I am making a return to the gym soon - and my Ringside bag gloves are pretty much done, and falling apart. I wonder if the long strap is going to be an annoyance or not.
You’ll probably get used to it, but I see people with it getting annoyed about having to strap it up

Do they have the same inner lining as RB11?
The RS2V 2.0 are better designed for sure and have the round cuff design from the RS1 2.0 gloves. Tought to put on and take off yourself though even though they are velcro becausr the overlapping double strap design. Also they are very hard for sparring gloves

Do you think you can use those for sparring or are they really for bags?
These are bag only. Most gyms/clubs would stop you before you began the sparring session if they spotted you wearing "bag only" marketed gloves.
I’m 5ft 3in and 128lbs. Im thinking about getting the Cleto Reyes training glove or the Fairtex bvg9 for bag and mitt work. Which glove and size would you recommend?

I honestly hated these. No real wrist support and my hands are mashed up. Got some Reyes after a few months.
I know what you mean. You'd think for such a long wrist strap it'll provide more support. I think I'd probably need to tighten it more, but it's kinda annoying to have to go over with that strap
More punching
