Can you say clearly
I understand
What about the Movement but
I got doubt
What is the relation to its name with the Movement
Hey!
Found it help
Can you help me with; what we're the major difference before this Movement
And after this movement did they accepted to pray to satan and mary.
Just curious
@@christeena As I understand it, there was not at first an inclination to pray to Mary and the saints, but that became a feature of the Anglo-Catholic movement which followed the Oxford Movement (which was also called Tractarian because they published "Tracts for the Times", on doctrinal questions. One Anglo Catholic who has written on the Invocation of Saints was Darwell Stone, who lived towards the end of the 19th century, and into the 20th. Some of the hymns of the Anglo Catholic movement were addressed to Mary, and many Anglo Catholics pray the Hail Mary.
p.s. Henry Parry Liddon, one of the Oxford Movement, published many sermons. I have readings of his sermons on the Magnificat. He writes of the importance of praying the Magnificat at each evening prayer service, and that it is right to pray with Mary in that sense.
Pray for the unity of Christendom.
